He has a beautiful voice that I would call folk opera. Hard to explain. Second is the one you saw here with Julie Bruce Guthro who IMO is every bit as good as Donnie. Every River is a freaking amazing song. You should hear Hearts of Olden Glory without Julie to get an idea how that sounds. They do a power pop version of Loch Lomond. Going Home is sensational. Beat the Drum, Scotland the Brave. Scottish Soldier, The Mighty Atlantic, Skye, The Cutter, they do many in Gaelic but I don't know the language so can't help you there.
Was this just recorded on August 30th. My God I want to see this band. Will they ever come back to America before they call it a career. Who is Julie Fowlis? She sounded amazing. Chills all over my body listening to this.

Julie Fowlis is pretty much the best singer out there. If you've seen Brave, the Disney movie, she sung a few major songs in that.
