I’m female and a photographer/edc enthusiast. I have a separate edc channel and IG if you’re interested in what I carry. But I love basically all the same things you guys do. I carry lip balm, a Leatherman Arc or SAK depending on how heavy I can carry that day. I love pocket knives especially titanium ones. I always carry a film camera and a SAK that has the nail clipper in it. As well as a pen by Big Idea Designs. So yea. I maybe an enigma in the edc world lol but I love it all. Also, love your videos. Just subbed.

I’m yet to get the Arc but I think that’s the perfect multi tool for me. An SAK with a nail clipper is also what I’m considering getting because I need nail clipper all the time. Although I’m not into film cameras, my cousin is. So I recommended your channel to her.

I'm no longer a smoker, but I'm a little bit of a Zippo collector. Near the end of my smoking, I bought this copper Zippo. I wanted to watch it age and patina over time. The reason why I tell you this. In the end, I bought a rechargeable insert for the Zippo. I only needed to charge it once every 6 months. Maybe it's something you might want to look into. I got it from Amazon, so it isn't hard to find.

@hans_mods I totally understand. The rechargeable isn't for everyone. If I still smoked, I don't think I would use it.

Victorinox makes a newish better nail clipper, but I am sure you know about their Classic SD, which is what I use for my emergency nail care, plus it has a toothpick. So useful, so small.

my favourite is how american wont understand the wallet thing but Canadians will. We have tap and app for everything. Only really large purchases require an actual card in hand.

@ oh man, typical American tap to pay was invented in Canada. Yes, you have some stores in some places in some markets in America that have some tap to pay. I have never been for dinner in the USA and had them tap my card or have tap ever. Maybe at Chucky cheese or McDonald’s where Americans eat never seen it anywhere else.

Your EDC camera kit is a little smaller than my ESC (Every shoot carry) kit, which is based around a cinematographers kit, but for large on-location/studio photography shoots, and fits into a Fujifilm leather camera bag (13x7x7 inch) Bought for £1.99 second hand, 17 years ago), with istay strap.
Leather gloves - C-stands lighting gear (should use more)
Rolgear 15-1 multi-bit ratcheting screwdriver (regular use)
LED lenser P7SE multicolour torch (regular use)
Squishy in ear defenders (neurodiversity and noisy sets)
Ibruprofin (Because everyone has bad days)
AA/AAA rechargable batteries x 3 (mainly used for flash trigger (used to be used for speedlights)
Scissors (occasional)
Anti-stick scissors (occasional) (For use with tape)
Pen/pencil (occasional)
sticky note (occasional) Good for reminding about things, and taking food orders
Either Leatherman PST II or Leatherman Charge TTi (regular use PSTII, very rarely Charge (Whilst legal for work, it is a pain to explain to UK Police if stopped))
Stanley Fatmax Tape measure (occasional use) Distance to subject (manual focus)
Laser measure (occasional use) More for video use but also measuring studio space.
Glitter Sun Water Pump Pliers (Cheaper than Robo grip) (ccasional use)
Black masking tape/ red gaffer tape (regular use) Prefer Black masking tape to gaffer tape.
Mini A clamps x 4 (rarely used (Normally use A clamp) Use for lighting and making clothes fit (fashion)
Multi-Allen keys (Semi-regular) or 3 Legged Thing Toolz (regular) attaching plate to camera
Zeiss lens wipes (regular use)
microfibre cleaning cloth (occasional use)
Kept separate: memory card, Power bank, wallet, keys

Great Video! One Thing that might be interesting to you as a smoker is a small portable ash tray. I don't smoke myself but a good friend of mine has this small silver portable ash tray she found on a flea market. And it's super pretty and never opens by itself! This way she doesn't have to be one of those disgusting people who throw their cigarette bums in the environment. But maybe China has more trash cans than the cities we have been to :) keep it up!
@@GreatNini I’ve considered that but ultimately I just smoke at the right spot. Especially when I go to places like Japan, I can’t just smoke anywhere you know.
great video, I like the idea of using a key pouch for EDC. Currently have the Alpaka hub pouch for a similar loadout as you, but my power bank does not fit in. Considering changing the power bank or the pouch not sure yet.

Female viewer here. The dry skin is your cuticle. You need to be careful when cutting them. Instead of cutting them, many people use a cuticle pusher to tuck them back and remove them after softening them with warm water or cuticle oil.
I’m totally stealing your adhesive pen loop idea. I have a go sun flat cutlery set in my edc pouch, and that would be perfect to keep my travel straw attached to it.
