- Story:
When a young Sobra and his friend Radiant Hope see visions of their futures in the Crystal Heart, Amore appears about his future and tells him that he has the power to change it. Years later, when a matured Sombra embraces his dark destiny and steals the Crystal Heart, Amore appears before him again. Having know of his true nature all along, Amore tells him it's not too late to choose his own destiny. Sombra, enraged that Amore knowingly caused him years of pain with the tradition of the Crystal Faire, turns her into a black crystal statue, shatters her into pieces, and scatters her pieces across the world.

One day Sombra and Radiant Hope come to the castle in Crystal empire. Sombra apologized to everyone. It was hard for Cadance and for everyone else to forgive Sombra for he had done. But the original story is true, it was in the mlp comics...? I had the comic for awhile before getting rid of it because my parents thought i was too old for the show and it was a, and i quote, "stupid little kids show" i'm majorly bummed i don't have it any more:(

Then Cadance is a product of necrophilia, apparently. Because Princess Amore was dead for about one thousand years by the time Cadance was born.

currently cadence is just a distant family from the princess amores according to the fandom wiki, you can see some sign that they are from the same family but not mother and daughter. With these data, the story from my point of view would be:

Guys! Amore isn’t actually in the story, she is a fan made character! Cadence did not inherit her throne to the crystal empire. She was born in Equestria and got her Alicorn/princess status in Equestria. But when the crystal empire came back she took the throne since she was the only princess at the time that wasn’t already ruling anything.

Princess Amore should've been in the show for real I bet she's Cadence's mother since she has the same full name as her and they have a similar Cutie Mark I feel like Princess Amore was such a wasted character in the show and they never allowed her in the show at all.

She's a unicorn obviously as shown in the photos. That proves you don't have to be an alicorn to be a princess. Also, in G1, all of the princesses were unicorns so that might be what inspired Amore in being a unicorn princess instead of an alicorn.
