Dope how to video👍. I just got a 2024 Pathfinder in January and after my free oil change I'm doing it myself. A little different than my other vehicles, but your how-to video was together real well and easy to follow. Appreciate it music man
I personally do not trust the quick drain oil change valves, especially if you do any off-roading with clearance issues and large rocks, boulders...ect the lower hanging valve could be damaged or knocked off and that would not be a good situation. As far as the crush washer, I would follow the manufacturers installation and usage guidelines. I use a magnetic oil drain plug. Thanks for watching.
A few tips, warm up your oil, gloves will please your wife, oil filter has torque setting, longer funnel, remove fill cap as your oil is draining, use a larger container to catch the oil. Good job with editing and the blanket to hide the oil spill all over the driveway. Other than that your video was ok.
What ALL yall should be worried about is spark plug and coil change. My 2019 pathfinder was 500 on labor alone because plugs are behind manifold which has to be removed to get to back 3 plugd. Most idiotic design I have ever seen. Trying to see if newer pathfinders had same engine bay design. Cant find video on changing plugs. If this has not changed why buy this suv!!? nobody needs a vehicle that cost 500 in labor to change spark plugs.
I did a spark plug change on my 2017 Pathfinder, it wasn't too bad, I'm pretty sure this engine is going to be the same layout. I'll cross that bridge when I get up to it. Good luck to you.
Name one new suv or car that is easy to get to the spark plugs... That's just the nature of transverse engines, and having done mine without needing a video, it's pretty safe to assume you're not a mechanic. It's pretty normal to have to remove the top of the engine to get to the plugs, coils, injectors, and so on. It's a good time to clean the intake and throttle body/ mass airflow sensor since they're probably dirty if you're needing plugs. Unless you've got a legit service manual (not UA-cam and forums), a torque wrench and all the specs, you really don't have any business doing anything under the hood. This is just the opinion of someone who had to redo shit the right way after learning these aren't like working on the old stuff.
Gave you a like cause you’re the only one I’ve seen so far who put the crush washer back on lol
Thanks, I get them from Amazon, I used to do Amazon Afilliate marketing, but the fee's are just ridiculous now, like everything else.

Take it easy on me. This is my first "how to video"
i have a 2024 pathfinder, what are your thoughts on using a fumoto valve for oil changes? Does the crush washer need to be replaced every time?

Hot oil went all down my hand and arm lol, edited out. Thanks
What’s size socket is the drain plug?
14mm with 27ft lbs of torque to tighten.
@@musicman556mm thx
Im at 5k miles and i was wondering when will my car let me know its due for an oil change?
Should be in the maintenance menu settings how many miles remaining.
Don't go 10k like they recommend. 5k oil changes would be best.
