I just love these Behind the Sounds. Hearing the raw drums in the room is always interesting, and the reminder that Shaun had to sing that rediculously high vocal at least five times in a row! Crazy good. As for Cam, is there nothing this man cannot do? Great to see him featured. :)

It's great hearing the raw live sound output in the jam room.
Before the raw live output goes into the mixing process and digital processing to form the final master.
The singer does actually have the high vocal range of Sammy Hagar.
When hearing him sing it purely raw and live before any mixing and processing starts.
Dreams is such a positive uplifting song
(being in a major key helps!)

Always have to allow a bit more time when a new Singit Live video drops into my notifications and see that Crafty is in it as I know I will also get one for Behind The Sound!. Really love these and the format is brilliant with the "Official" footage combined with the "Raw" giving you a real idea of how it all comes together in the end (eventually in some cases!), so well done mate and can't wait for the next one

Thanks Crafty for another insightful SIL behind the sounds/scenes video.. I am watching this the day after the release..
The turnaround on this song blows my mind in that you all came together less than 5 days ago to practice and record this and then both you and Darren have less than 72hrs to finalise your respective mixes and videos prior to uploading and release.. when of course you both have nothing else to do 😅.
For some reason I always imagined that Darren had a drawer full of song recordings going back at least 3-4 weeks and he spent the intervening time fine tuning them prior to release as I am sure I have seen something on Insta a few weeks ago from Michael at a recording which I am pretty sure hasn’t yet dropped.
As a fan I am constantly blown away by everyone in SIL’s professionalism and commitment to the process as well as the quality of the output. Keep up the great work.. one day you might even convince Darren to get your Seniors Choir to sing back-up vocals 😊❤

Love the behind the scenes videos! Interesting how much the keyboards were in front of the mix compared to hearing it live here.
I watched the video the day it came out, it sounded fantastic! Watching your Behind the Sound video generates some questions: Listening to Shaun's vocals via your "behind the scenes" camera, he sounds flat on most of the high notes, yet on the final production, he sounds perfect. Why is that? Do you guys do a lot of post-production? If so, I'd love to see some behind-the-scenes camera on that as well. Keep it up! Love your videos!
