What if you made a ride that used the druve shaft from the truck that pulls it Dissconnect the drive shaft from the diff on the truck and run an extensions to the ride. Then you could use the power from the truck to rotate the ride.
Most of the design build is straightforward, but just off the top of my head without plans available for the mechanical portion, I'd probably use a good size trailer axle. Cut it to appropriate size and add a slightly larger outer steel sleeve to reinforce where it was cut and welded back together.
