It could be interesting to see sewika as a Barbarian, as her shimer could be reflavoured as rage and her character is still quite keen on head on confrontation.
Viktor could make an interesting lich, liches can transcend mortality and transcend pain and that's what the Glorious Evolution is all about. Lich can raise armies of the dead while forcibly recruiting others into the fold, and Viktor is technically doing that with his robot army.
My guesses/ideas for more characters along those lines : _Sevika as a barbarian. Specifically Wild Magic Path if you factor in the slot machine arm. _Vi as either a Battlemaster Fighter or a Open Hand Monk. _Caitlyn as an Arcane Archer. _Jayce as a Forge Cleric. _Mel as either a Divine or Clockwork Soul Sorcerer. _Ambessa as a Conquest Paladin.
I had an idea that singed could be a spore druid as he dose use corpses to reach his goal and one of those corpses is vander and he totally is a beast barbarian, his anger is totally his bloodlust mode
vi is a strength based fighter monk multiclass, jayce is a paladin obv, ekko can technically be be a rogue wizard multiclass with subclasses in arcane trickster and divination/chronurgy
These ideas and designs for the characters are amazing! I could see Caitlyn as an Arcane Archer Fighter- The magical effects being from her Hextech Rifle, or in this case, heavy crossbow or longbow.
THIS IS LITERALLY RIGHT UP MY ALLEY!!! ive been so into arcane and i think its world would be a great ttrpg setting so seeing these designs makes my little nerd heart happy if you’re doing repeat classes, mel fits the bill for divine soul sorcerer pretty well. i also think monk vi and paladin caitlyn would be a fun duo!
Riot has a 5e edition book with a couple of bilgewater classes in it, but they do need a settings book for all of runeterra. I'd play that setting SO much.
If we are ignoring artificer, then Singed should definitely be an evil druid. He is the only character we see interacting with plants and animals, he experiments with them and used them to make shimmer. I would say he is a spore druid as he leaves a toxic trait behind him, he talks about death and curing it, just like a spore druid talks about using the dead as new life.
Vi- locking in Fighter here bc I love punch fighter, tough bc I also wanted to make Cait a fighter. Cait- Ranger or Rogue. Rogue if you want to make the argument that she doesn’t really use any magic and she really focuses on lining up shots. Vander- Beast Barbarian Jayce- Bard. Bard/Paladin, if we’re opening this prompt to multiclasses. I’ve always said Artificer and Bard are just two sides of the same creative coin, you could easily roleplay one as the other. Ambessa- War Cleric. Champion of a higher power, literally kindles the fire of a war, shuts down magic (Antimagic Field, anyone?) Sevika- Monk, leaning Four Elements here? Mel- THE support caster of Arcane. Can’t do Abjuration Wizard or Bard, so I’m leaning Circle of the Stars Druid. Something about the character with the furthest vision and ambitions for the city looking to the stars as her guide, plus the Black Rose connection. Heimerdinger- Really stumped me, and then I remembered the slight of hand trick he showed that little girl when he first entered Zaun. So maybe we’ll call him an Arcane Trickster Rogue. I refuse to believe he has proficiency in Stealth. His player forgot to put proficiency in but still assumes Heimerdinger will pass all skill checks by virtue of being a rogue.
weeeee this is so cute your art is super lovely and you picked great options!! for the undecided i think vi would make an amazing battlemaster fighter for the versatility, and i think jayce and heimerdinger are shoe ins for artificers
I was trying to NOT do any articifers because 90 percent of the main cast fits artificer. Jinx Ekko Jayce and Viktor all fit so easy. I could slide I in though hehe.
I think Jace fits best as an Artillerist Artificer based on what we see in the show. Using a tiny force ballista he could use it in hands Vi is a hot take as I think she’s some variant of fighter rather than a straight monk. Personally I would say something like eldritch knight to incorporate the power gauntlets into her kit Caitlyn works as a battle master fighter as so many of the maneuvers fit her gunplay in show (precision attack, pushing attack for net gun, disarming attack)
I hope for a part 2 with Vi, Jayce & Caitlyn (Imo the "Main Characters" of the show) If Vi is a Barbarian she's a "Beast" Barbarian, since in mechanics it fits the best for an Unarmed Attacking Barbarian, but I think the better class might actually Fighter as much as I think Monk is the 1st class to come to mind, Vi does a lot "technical" Fighting Techniques, Takedowns, Throws, Feints, etc. I think she fits best with Battlemaster Fighter with Tasha's Unarmed Fighting Style. Caitlyn Definitely fits Rogue or Ranger the best Imo, I actually think Rogue more since her Shots are percise and highly deadly, she feels like a great fit for a Mastermind or inquisitive Rogue Mechanics Jayce feels like an Armourer both in game and in Arcane, besides the obvious fact he doesn't wear armour, but I agree that no Artificers should be a thing or it would be too easy (and if you did 7 Characters, Heimerdinger deserves Artificer more than any character imo) so for Jayce I think Paladin, He is literally called the Golden Boy, and the "I swear it" he says in act 2 doubles down this point, very goal Driven, but does care about the people he cares about you could even argue that the smashing of the anomaly was breaking his Oath and he had to swear a new one while within the anomaly, I'd Say Act 1 Jayce is a Glory Paladin, doing what he believes is good, trying to make a name for himself, and the glory led him to corruption, and in Act 2 he could be either an Oathbreaker, Vengeance or Redemption Paladin Also With Vander/Warwick, I think Jinx coulda been a really cool Beast Master Ranger
Those drawings are amazing, I really love the idea too! Arcane is so fascinating, I love the idea of magic based artificing! I thought Jinx would be a gunslinger fighter but I can totally see her as a wild magic sorcerer. I also think Caitlyn might fit gloom stalker ranger. Vi definitely has the tavern brawler feat 😂 (Sevika too) I’ve heard this theory that Mel is the chosen of the Wolf, so Cleric would make sense, but shes so charismatic, so Sorcerer would make sense. Maybe Warlock, since it looks like Ambessa made a deal with the Wolf but can you give the powers to someone else? Now that I think about, maybe Paladin would work for Ambessa, her oath being to “protect her family”
I feel like jace would be a paladin of some kind, but at some point he becomes an oathbreaker instead of whatever he starts as, especially after the middle of s2. In terms of subclass it would likely have to do with his desire for progress and loyalty to the people he cares for. so maybe crown or devotion?
At the beginning when there was a snippet of to ashes and blood, it was also playing out loud in the same room as me so i didn't know if i was tripping or what lmao
You’re welcome and I’m sorry if my comment offended you in anyway, I didn’t mean to. I’ll make sure to double check next time 🫡 hope the channel goes well and have a good day!!! ❤
@@rileygibs4956 No offense at all! How would you know? Everybody gets a pass or 2 in my book!!!!! I appreciate the comment, it actually meant a lot to me that people like my work.
I would have done Viktor as a Clockwork Soul Sorcerer, and idk what I would have done Jinx as if not an Artillerist Artificer, but I totally agree on Ekko!
While on paper I could see Caitlyn as a ranger, I feel like in execution she'd fit so much better as a path of vengeance paladin. Sure paladins aren't exactly known for being ranged but that hasn't stopped some. On top of that the abilities they get like hunters mark, hold person, and haste do kind of fit with the marksman style. Having Caitlyn as a Paladin also clears up the Ranger spot for Jayce and given that Archers can be known for swapping between ranged and melee, which fits Jayce's hammer perfectly. For the rest I for the most part agree with the other comments like Vi being a fighter, Mel a cleric, Heimerdinger a bard, ect. But one in particular I think could be really fun/painful is to make Isha a arcane trickster. Having her be a rogue is fitting for Zaun, but also making her a arcane trickster as a connection to Jinx also being a caster possibly with there being a desire there to copy Jinx.
@@Dragonmist19X Caitlin honestly has so much potential for so many classes. I can't wait to star exploring her design ideas. And Isha 😭 idk if I am strong enough to draw her.
I see Jayce as some kind of paladin, not sure what subclass. He probably does season 1 and act 1 of season 2 as a glory paladin, but comes back from his arcane trip as a redemption paladin. Vi is probably a fighter with the unarmed fighting style. Her boxing is actually quite tactical, so probably a battle master. Caitlin is an inquisitive rogue, no doubt about that one. Mel is probably the cleric, arcana domain. Warwick/Vander is the beast barbarian, obv. Ambessa is probably a battle master fighter too, but with the dueling fighting style. Her and Vi have very similar combat styles in the show. Sevika could be a barbarian or a monk, as we never see her wearing armour.
I was so sure that Jinx would be the Warlock, actually. Just because I think it could be cool to characterize Silco as a fiendish patron for her. Silco is THE evil villain of Arcane, despite his story being complicated, but at the same time Jinx seems to draw so much strength and motivation from him/his memory. That’s why I think him being her patron would work just perfectly!
@@AnimatedArmor Cool 👍 if I had a chance I’d play a Zaun street kid fighter. Low intelligence but High wisdom because he’s street smarts. That could work for other characters, Zaun kids have high wisdom and low intelligence but Piltover kids have safety and private schools so they get high intelligence but low wisdom. A team of them would be a very comedic show 😂 also back story my character wants to be an enforcer
I feel like ekko could possibly be an echo knight. Not only the name fitting, his manifest echo could be flavored as a flash of a separate timeline, and his teleport swapping places with his echo could be his time manipulation. Give him high intelligence and a few divination wizard levels and you could have a pretty potent and fairly accurate ekko Edit: Here is my take on building all of the rest of the Arcane main cast with some power and optimization taken into account Caitlyn - Battlemaster or Gunslinger Fighter 6/Assassin Rogue X | The 6 levels of fighter give Extra Attack and ways to augment your ranged attacks with trick shots. The choice to go the rest of the way with Assassin stems from leaning into the sharpshooter aspect of Caitlyn and focusing on getting one good shot in with Steady Aim providing advantage and sneak attack from any position. Going mostly fighter with 4 levels of assassin for steady aim is also pretty strong, so is opting to go for the Scout subclass instead. The Sharpshooter feat is a must here. Vi - Battlemaster Fighter X /Open Hand Monk 4-6 (Astral Self if you can’t get magic hextech gloves) | Going mostly fighter takes the focus away from being a lithe and dextrous precision fighter to Vi being more of a brawler, as well as gaining the Unarmed Fighting Style for that beautiful d8 damage die on unarmed strikes. Going for monk is mostly for Flurry of Blows and the other Ki features like Stunning Strike. If your DM doesn't want to home-brew Hextech gauntlets, you can also opt for the Way of the Astral Self subclass flavoring the Astral Arms as your gauntlets, and if you want to push to 6 levels in monk, the Astral Mask as the mask worn when they unleash the Grey on the Zaunites. Taking Battlemaster also means that you get to match Cait while displaying a thematic parallel as Caitlyn is a ranged Battlemaster and Vi is a melee Battlemaster. Ekko - Echo Knight Fighter X/Divination Wizard 2 or Chronurgy Wizard 6 | Reasoning explained above. Sevika - Wild Magic Barbarian | Pretty self explanatory, the Wild Magic Surges could be displayed as the slot machine randomizer that Jinx created for Seika's new arm. I personally like to home-brew that the damage die for those surges scale with the damage die of cantrips as they get pretty underpowered at higher levels. You could also throw in some Cavalier Fighter or Paladin levels if you want to display Sevika's loyalty in a mechanical way and make her a true unarmed brawler by taking the Unarmed (haha get it?) Fighting Style. You could also just take the Fighting Initiate feat. Viktor - Chronurgy Wizard or Aberrant Mind Sorcerer | I found Viktor pretty difficult because of his unique power set and just how many abilities he has. I think that the Chronurgy Wizard leans more into his manipulation of the Arcane through wild runes as well as his manipulation of timelines. The Aberrant Mind Sorcerer would lean more into him tapping into people's minds and memories like he did with Warwick. A multiclass between the two would be very interesting, if incongruous. Jinx - Artillerist Artificer | Sorry no Arcane Trickster, while the naming convention is cool, the Arcane Trickster's abilities just don't fit with Jinx's fighting style and abilities. The Artillerist Artificer would grant Jinx her gun, as well as the various blasting spells that she gets as an artillerist which can be flavored as her gadgets and explosives such as Scorching Ray as her minigun or Shatter/Fireball as her bombs. Mel Medarda - Peace Cleric and/or Clockwork Soul Sorcerer | Both of these on their own focus pretty well on shielding and protecting others, as well as providing options to increase the skills needed for diplomatic solutions. A pretty good multiclass would be Peace Cleric 6/Clockwork Soul Sorcerer X which would just be a full double down on protecting your allies, despite relying on many ability scores. Jayce - Forge Cleric or Battlesmith Artificer 4/Oath of Devotion Paladin X | The Forge Cleric and Battlesmith Artificer both give credit to Jayce as an inventor/manufacturer. I lean more towards Battlesmith because it both allows you to go all in on you Intelligence by giving you the option to attack with your Intelligence, along with having a bit more a tinkerer academic vibe that I believe fits better with Jayce despite all of his forging scenes. The Oath of Devotion Paladin invokes his dedication to progress and Piltover, as well as his dedication to Viktor, all while adding the himbo vibe that he has. It also happens to be a build that is able to counter Viktor's pretty well. Ambessa Medarda - Conquest Paladin X/Way of the Long Death Monk 6 | The Conquest Paladin is the obvious choice, and giving her monk levels helps display her hand to hand combat and quarterstaff/spear training. The Way of the Long Death subclass is also great flavor as it grants temp HP every time you kill an enemy, as well as having her level 6 monk ability synergize super well with her paladin aura basically allowing her to frighten your enemies to a standstill within her aura. Vander/Warwick - Moon Druid 2/Bear Totem Barbarian X | Pretty self explanatory, the Moon Druid allows you to wildshape into a bear and, the Bear Totem grants more of that animalistic flavor as well as resistance to every damage the except for Psychic which allows you to be an amazing tank as well as being pretty accurate as the only real way to defeat Warwick was through Viktor healing his mind. If I missed any characters or if you have any other ideas pls let me know :)
Guesses with alternative possibilities! Ekko: paladin (the boy saviour), artificer, chronurgy wizard Jinx: artificer, arcane trickster Victor: I feel like a wizard of some variety since he learned from books to create magic, hello knock knock it's artificer again, maybe a cleric? he gives cleric vibes in s2.
Articifer sure was my easy option for half the cast haha, which is why I just HAD to rule it out as a option. If everyone is an artificer, then no one will be.
I have seen some great ideas in the comments, i will try to not repeat any classes: - Sevika: Wild magic barbarian - Vi: Battle Master fighter -Cait: gloom stalker Ranger - Jayce: Forge cleric - Heimerdinger: Lore Bard - Mel: Devotion paladin (?) - Silco: Master mind Rogue - Ambessa: Kensai monk Vander: Lycan blood hunter Singed: alchemist artificer( the only one allowed to be an artificer)
Steb (green fish dude), while not a main character, would be the overworked healer (NPC since he never speaks, so as not to give the party hints as to what the DM wants them to do?) who was forced to go Life Cleric to try and keep the party alive. This may be a bit of a spoiler, but Steb is the medic of the show, having been shown to check on multiple people who have been hurt throughout the season. He is also in one of League's side games (I think TFT) and his ability is to heal people. Caitlyn is not actually a Ranger even though it feels that way. With her Batman-esque abilities to deduce crime scenes, I think she should absolutely be the Inquisitive Rogue of the party. Her ability to sense "weak spots" in her foes, and extremely high Investigation skill, are much closer to a Rogue than a Ranger. Plus Rogues can use Sneak Attack on ranged weapons, and then hide effectively keeping enemies from knowing her position. (Spoiler, but in furry grey letters) is between a Berserker or Wild Heart Barbarian for me. I thought about a multiclass into Ranger for the (spoiler but in red letters), but it's really only a Survival skill being used there, albeit an extremely high Survival skill. While I know you said no Artificer class, I think it's immensely funny to make Vi an Artificer since she didn't even build her bi- err... gauntlets herself. Otherwise, she feels like the normie fighter who is here to crack jokes and crack heads. I can see the Barbarian rage angle to her character, but her attacks feel much more precise and calculated. To get an idea for why I think this, look at the first Sevika fight in S1. She underestimated her opponent and got backed into a corner, but then quickly changed her tactics to get out of the situation she got herself into. I don't see a Barbarian having that level of tactic. Jayce is the closest thing to a Himbo we have in the series (unless you count Loris?) so I'm just giving him Paladin and moving on. Jokes at my favourite class aside, he shares tenets with both Oath of Glory and Oath of Vengeance throughout the series (Oath of Glory in S1, and Oath of Vengeance for... spoiler reasons in S2), so my thought is that after 2x3, he finally lost his Oath, and retrained from Glory into Vengeance. Plus you can consider in the game that switching stances gives his first attack a power boost as his Paladin's Smite. (I will note that I also like the Forge Cleric angle said by others, but I wanted to be different) Ambessa seems like the perfect candidate to be a Battle Master Fighter. Singed almost has to be an Alchemist Artificer, sorry. He literally doesn't do anything other than be a mass-murdering alchemist. But since I'm trying to follow your rules, the next closest is a Death Cleric. Heimer didn't really do all that much in the show, but being an engineer and his comparisons to Singed, I would go towards Forge Cleric for him.
@therren9981 see the hardest part about arcane that you can make the articifer argument for most, not all, characters. I definitely see Jayce as a Paladin too! Idk if I will get into the more side characters for this series but I would love to do Steb and Lest if it goes that far! And lastly, I am really feeling spores druid for Singed by my own ruleset hehe.
@@AnimatedArmor Lest is probably my favourite side character. I love that they added her into the story, and that they got Eve Lindley to do the voice. Also Singed being a Spores Druid is a good take. I was thinking along the lines of Death Clerics being obsessed with death and Singed basically being the necromancer who will save you regardless of if you die or not. But Spores Druid would go more along with his in-game abilities as well as the fungal infestation feature working for the necromancy stuff I was thinking about.
My stupid ideas: Jinx---> Artificer ( artillerist), maybe multiclass with rouge ( arcane trickster) . Vi---- monk ( open hand) , possibile multiclass with either fighter or barbarian, also she could have the " tavern brawler" feat. Cait ----- gunslinger ( I'm counting it), with maybe a multiclass with vengeance paladin, but that may be a bit of a stretch. Jayce--- Artificer ( battle smith ) Vicktor--- definitely an Artificer( maybe just 2 levels, with no subclass) but it needs a multiclass with either wizard( necromancer) or warlock ( the great old one). Ekko--- rogue (inquisitive)/wizard (chronurgy)
Part 2 Singed--- Artificer( alchemist)/wizard( necromancer); as an alternative, there's an homebrew Artificer subclass that's basically " now you can play doctor frankenstain" ( which could work for Vicktor too, now that I think about it). Vander--- monk (open hand), then multiclass into barbarian ( totem warrior) as Warwick. Sevika--- barbarian (wild magic) Silko--- Bard (whispers), maybe multiclass with rogue (mastermind)?
while people have said arcane trickster would've been perfect for jinx - and i don't disagree - i think wild mage is just as perfect for her (along with artificer, of course). as for others, i can totally see Caitlyn as a ranger, vi as a monk, jayce as a paladin, silco as a rogue assassin, sevika as a barbarian. mel i'm caught between storm and aberrant mind sorcerer.
If Vi or Vander do not show up as tanks I shall be upset. Also I predict Cait would most likely be a ranger or n arcane archer fighter due to their magical rifle
And here I thought Ekko was gonna be a Clockwork Soul Sorcerer. Though I guess they don’t have quite as much to do with time manipulation rather than clock aesthetics
Dude some of the most powerful characters in Zaun and Piltover are Women. Caitlyn - Inquisitor Rogue. Vi - rune knight fighter Jayce - Ancients Paladin Extra credit Heinerdinger -Eloquence Bard (I bet you thought i would've said artificer) Vander - beast Barbarian Ambessa - Long Death Monk. Evil monks are so rare And Mel is a Light Cleric.
Vi: barbarian Jayce: artificer Caitlyn: rogue (specifically inquisitive) Mel: Abjuration wizard Ambessa: battle master fighter (fr we see so many battle manuevers) Sevika: fighter Vander: paladin heimerdinger: bard..? Silco: probably rogue (mastermind) Singed: ... i honestly dont know. Some type of wizard or druid maybe
So Jayce would be a Paladin I reckon - Man of Progress and all that. He's got an oath to improve lives, and he gets on with Viktor until Viktor makes contact with his GOO patron and now they have some differing ideologies. Caitlyn is an Investigator Rogue with possibly a Fighter dip for Gunslinging. Vi is a Fighter, straight up, but she has like, Tavern Brawler and a bunch of other stuff dedicated to just punching things. She is uncontrollably gay for the hot sniper rogue. Mel [Redated for spoilers] Singed is an Alchemist Artificer DMPC who is somehow tied to the backgrounds of half the PCs and no one knows it. And Sevika is a Barbarian with a cool magical prosthesis. She is just pissed off all the time.
Brother if you’ve watched arcane jinx is SUCH a rouge. Sneaks around, unbelievable stealthy, and all she uses are sneak attacks. Love the art but major whiff
@@AnimatedArmor Not entirely sure what you mean with "Snr classes". I meant more like character concepts and what classes they would have and how to build them to best represent their features and skills in the series. Very cool visual concepts!
For the full cast: Vi: fighter i think. She can tank best of everyone which made me consider barbarian but she never really loses control when she gets angry except for that one time when her dad and all her friends just died right in front of her so i don't think that counts. Jinx is an arcane trickster, sorry not sorry Vander: barbarian Silco: Mastermind rogue Jayce: Paladin for sure. He combos magic and melee and always gives v righteous vibes Viktor: He's a wizard to me, he studied books and science in order to create magic. Otherwise maybe cleric. Ekko: Ekko is THE artificer to me, sorry. Caitlyn: I'mma go ranger bc sniper Mel: now THAT'S a sorcerer for sure. She inherited magic from someone that just randomly kicked in under the right conditions. Sevika: ok hear me out but paladin maybe? She's deffo not particularly magically inclined BUT she is ALWAYS shown fighting melee for a particular ideal, be that for the nation of Zaun or purely out of loyalty, she is principled in a way a lot of the other characters aren't? Ambessa: I think maybe actually monk? She is a ruthless melee character but she is v tactical about it and we're shown her training with a quarterstaff I rly feel like i'm missing someone obvious haha
I'm still mad I missed the jinx as an arcane trickster. 🫠 I am super interested in Ambessa being a monk of some kind. She is definitely on the list for next time.
Before watching the video. I'm gonna put down what classes I'd personally go with for the three characters. And also one or two alternatives. All 3 feel very much like Intelligence focused characters. Though the very very small number of INT classes in 5e makes that tricky. (Also, I am more or less fully disregarding the LoL versions of the characters in my evaluations here.) Echo. Eldritch knight, Fighter. (Or Oath of the Ancients Paladin.) If we were able to go with pathfinder classes then Magus would be the easy choice. But in 5e classes, if feels like it's one of these. The boy feels like he NEEDS to have some martial blood in him. And though I'd lean towards INT casting.Cha could work too. A bit of magic is required. But the magic is more in support of or alongside the martial ability. For Paladin specifically. Echo feels to me very strongly tied to his principles. His drive to help people, lead them, make the world better and all. Feels rather paladin-ee to me. And the line, “It's not enough to give the people what they need to survive: you have to give them what they need to live.” Is probably one of the single most Oath of the Ancients lines I've ever heard. Viktor. Warlock is the easy pick. (Or Wizard or Aberrant/Clockwork/Shadow/Wild bloodline Sorcerer) (Though it would fit much better if Warlock was CHA OR INT. Like it was in the earlier development of 5e) Dark dealings. Meddling with forces you're not fully prepared for. Some either literal or metaphorical selling your of soul/self. All fits nicely. Though, if fluffed as something that happens to him. Rather than something he's born with. Then the Sorc could also work. The hexcore and the magic that comes with it is often less of a communicating character like a patron, and sometimes more like an animal or force of nature. Having a massive font of magic power dropped on you/into you. And having to wrestle with how to deal with it, live with it, manage it, control it, or risk losing yourself to it, it controlling you by the sheer force of it's existence. Some good possible Sorcerer angles to go with if one wanted. And with With Wizard It's just the most all in on the scholarly angle of all the classes. Which suits well. INT as a main stat is obviously in line for Viktor. And Viktor is very obviously an all in caster type class. Regardless of which flavour. Jinx. Artillerist Artificer. (or Warlock) Because if anyone is all in on the Artillerist's mix of gadgets and big booms. It's Jinx. Big booms, fun gadgets, maximum firepower. All handmade from scratch by the character herself. And, as for Warlock. Much as he loves her, Silco is obviously a corrupting influence on her. (I'd argue that, if you don't just want to put it down as writing issues, Jinx being so much more relatively stable in the second season is one sign of this.) He cuts an ominous figure. And would fit cleanly as a patron. And in game mechanics. Warlock is the local kind of "I blast it with rapid fire magic firepower." Though the low versatility, Silco's low involvement in how her skillset and abilities actually grow, hurt the warlock angle for me. And there are very much valid arguments I think for Jinx being either pretty high Charisma, Or EXTREMELY low Charisma. Though her INT is 100% high. So Artificer meshes nicely with the stats that make sense for her as a character. ... Wow I put way too much thought into this idea and writing it all out. (Aaand now I'm beginning to consider the question from the angle with classes from my preferred RPG, Pathfinder. Oh dear. It never ends.)
I hope you come back after watching the video and let me know what you think of the choices!!!!! I should have let Ekko multiclass honestly, but hey we call make mistakes in the heat of passion haha.
I took artificer off the table because the class fit majority of the characters and I did not want ppl to go " but X should have been an artificer" the aesthetic of laundry and pullover is artificer, trust me I know most of the cast could have been.
The fact that Jinx isn't an arcane trickster is such a missed opportunity
Omg you're so right, how did I miss that haha.
This was my exact thought going into this video
I see her as more of an artificer than anything else. She makes weapons that technically don't exist at least to Zaunites yet.
@gimmeyourrights8292 she's a multiclass arcane trickster rogue × artificer, but frfr everyone in this show can really be called an artificer 😂😅

_Mel as either a Divine or Clockwork Soul Sorcerer.

Cait- Ranger or Rogue. Rogue if you want to make the argument that she doesn’t really use any magic and she really focuses on lining up shots.
Vander- Beast Barbarian
Jayce- Bard. Bard/Paladin, if we’re opening this prompt to multiclasses. I’ve always said Artificer and Bard are just two sides of the same creative coin, you could easily roleplay one as the other.
Ambessa- War Cleric. Champion of a higher power, literally kindles the fire of a war, shuts down magic (Antimagic Field, anyone?)
Sevika- Monk, leaning Four Elements here?
The heimerdinger stealth mission did go off perfectly in the show, I see no problems here with rogue heimer. 👌
weeeee this is so cute your art is super lovely and you picked great options!! for the undecided i think vi would make an amazing battlemaster fighter for the versatility, and i think jayce and heimerdinger are shoe ins for artificers
I was trying to NOT do any articifers because 90 percent of the main cast fits artificer. Jinx Ekko Jayce and Viktor all fit so easy. I could slide I in though hehe.
I think Jace fits best as an Artillerist Artificer based on what we see in the show. Using a tiny force ballista he could use it in hands
Vi is a hot take as I think she’s some variant of fighter rather than a straight monk. Personally I would say something like eldritch knight to incorporate the power gauntlets into her kit
Caitlyn works as a battle master fighter as so many of the maneuvers fit her gunplay in show (precision attack, pushing attack for net gun, disarming attack)
@@Venomtankmod Vi as a fighter goes hard ngl.
Jinx´s a Barbarian, her Jinx mode is her barbarian rage
I hope for a part 2 with Vi, Jayce & Caitlyn (Imo the "Main Characters" of the show)
If Vi is a Barbarian she's a "Beast" Barbarian, since in mechanics it fits the best for an Unarmed Attacking Barbarian, but I think the better class might actually Fighter as much as I think Monk is the 1st class to come to mind, Vi does a lot "technical" Fighting Techniques, Takedowns, Throws, Feints, etc. I think she fits best with Battlemaster Fighter with Tasha's Unarmed Fighting Style.
Caitlyn Definitely fits Rogue or Ranger the best Imo, I actually think Rogue more since her Shots are percise and highly deadly, she feels like a great fit for a Mastermind or inquisitive Rogue
Mechanics Jayce feels like an Armourer both in game and in Arcane, besides the obvious fact he doesn't wear armour, but I agree that no Artificers should be a thing or it would be too easy (and if you did 7 Characters, Heimerdinger deserves Artificer more than any character imo) so for Jayce I think Paladin, He is literally called the Golden Boy, and the "I swear it" he says in act 2 doubles down this point, very goal Driven, but does care about the people he cares about you could even argue that the smashing of the anomaly was breaking his Oath and he had to swear a new one while within the anomaly, I'd Say Act 1 Jayce is a Glory Paladin, doing what he believes is good, trying to make a name for himself, and the glory led him to corruption, and in Act 2 he could be either an Oathbreaker, Vengeance or Redemption Paladin
Also With Vander/Warwick, I think Jinx coulda been a really cool Beast Master Ranger
Vi definitely has the tavern brawler feat 😂 (Sevika too)
I’ve heard this theory that Mel is the chosen of the Wolf, so Cleric would make sense, but shes so charismatic, so Sorcerer would make sense. Maybe Warlock, since it looks like Ambessa made a deal with the Wolf but can you give the powers to someone else? Now that I think about, maybe Paladin would work for Ambessa, her oath being to “protect her family”
@@ChaosCause3000 ambessa would make a perfect Paladin. I was think Mel would be more of a bard due her way with words.
I feel like jace would be a paladin of some kind, but at some point he becomes an oathbreaker instead of whatever he starts as, especially after the middle of s2. In terms of subclass it would likely have to do with his desire for progress and loyalty to the people he cares for. so maybe crown or devotion?
Oh I see it!
I can definitely see that!
Glory?
Also artificer, considering he made the hammer himself, that’s some level 20 artificer stuff
warwick/vander - barbarian
vi - monk
caitlyn - ranger
sevika - fighter
jayce - paladin
mel - cleric
heimerdinger - bard
I dread the day I must draw an instrument but I love bard Heimerdinger.😂
At the beginning when there was a snippet of to ashes and blood, it was also playing out loud in the same room as me so i didn't know if i was tripping or what lmao

I have seen several ppl say clockwork, I missed the mark oof.

I would have done Viktor as a Clockwork Soul Sorcerer, and idk what I would have done Jinx as if not an Artillerist Artificer, but I totally agree on Ekko!
Forge cleric victor
Ooh that is a good one I hadn't thought of.
Vi, monk I would say. Caitlyn, fighter. Mel, paladin.
@@c.j.lawrence7486 The HARDEST part of this was not repeating classes. I def see the setup for warlock!
I would just love a D&D game in piltover and zaun 😊
@sharpetutor227 if you start one invite me!

Also just wondering what’s your character sheet look like?
I'd want to try out the wild card rogue from the runeterra 5e book!
@@AnimatedArmor
Cool 👍
if I had a chance I’d play a Zaun street kid fighter.
I made Jinx as a Arcane Trickster, but i also threw in 3 levels of Barbarian for the Wild Magic subclass. It works better than youd think
oh wild magic barbarian is def an interesting take on it, I love it!
I feel like Cleric/Paladin Viktor could be interesting as well
Love the video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Vi has to be barbarian
I feel like ekko could possibly be an echo knight. Not only the name fitting, his manifest echo could be flavored as a flash of a separate timeline, and his teleport swapping places with his echo could be his time manipulation. Give him high intelligence and a few divination wizard levels and you could have a pretty potent and fairly accurate ekko
Edit: Here is my take on building all of the rest of the Arcane main cast with some power and optimization taken into account
Caitlyn - Battlemaster or Gunslinger Fighter 6/Assassin Rogue X | The 6 levels of fighter give Extra Attack and ways to augment your ranged attacks with trick shots.
Oh this flavor is fire I will have to remember this for my next dnd character.
@ thanks!
Missed out on Jinx being a rogue. With sharp shooting skills, high mobility and her explosive traps.
We were so focused on wild magic that I missed the rogue!
Guesses with alternative possibilities!
Ekko: paladin (the boy saviour), artificer, chronurgy wizard
Jinx: artificer, arcane trickster
Victor: I feel like a wizard of some variety since he learned from books to create magic, hello knock knock it's artificer again, maybe a cleric? he gives cleric vibes in s2.
Articifer sure was my easy option for half the cast haha, which is why I just HAD to rule it out as a option. If everyone is an artificer, then no one will be.
I have seen some great ideas in the comments, i will try to not repeat any classes:
- Sevika: Wild magic barbarian
- Vi: Battle Master fighter
-Cait: gloom stalker Ranger
- Jayce: Forge cleric
- Heimerdinger: Lore Bard
- Mel: Devotion paladin (?)
- Silco: Master mind Rogue
- Ambessa: Kensai monk
Vander: Lycan blood hunter
Singed: alchemist artificer( the only one allowed to be an artificer)
(I will note that I also like the Forge Cleric angle said by others, but I wanted to be different)
Ambessa seems like the perfect candidate to be a Battle Master Fighter.
My stupid ideas:
Jinx---> Artificer ( artillerist), maybe multiclass with rouge ( arcane trickster) .
Jayce--- Artificer ( battle smith )
Vicktor--- definitely an Artificer( maybe just 2 levels, with no subclass) but it needs a multiclass with either wizard( necromancer) or warlock ( the great old one).
Ekko--- rogue (inquisitive)/wizard (chronurgy)
Part 2
Singed--- Artificer( alchemist)/wizard( necromancer); as an alternative, there's an homebrew Artificer subclass that's basically " now you can play doctor frankenstain" ( which could work for Vicktor too, now that I think about it).
Vander--- monk (open hand), then multiclass into barbarian ( totem warrior) as Warwick.
Sevika--- barbarian (wild magic)
Silko--- Bard (whispers), maybe multiclass with rogue (mastermind)?
while people have said arcane trickster would've been perfect for jinx - and i don't disagree - i think wild mage is just as perfect for her (along with artificer, of course).
as for others, i can totally see Caitlyn as a ranger, vi as a monk, jayce as a paladin, silco as a rogue assassin, sevika as a barbarian. mel i'm caught between storm and aberrant mind sorcerer.
I really wanted ekko to be an int class, thought clockwork soul def fits!
Dude some of the most powerful characters in Zaun and Piltover are Women.
Caitlyn - Inquisitor Rogue.
Vi - rune knight fighter
Jayce - Ancients Paladin
Extra credit
Heinerdinger -Eloquence Bard (I bet you thought i would've said artificer)
Vander - beast Barbarian
Ambessa - Long Death Monk. Evil monks are so rare
And Mel is a Light Cleric.
I love the idea of evil monk for Ambessa, so many creative takes here. I love them!
@AnimatedArmor I was thinking the same thing
Vi: barbarian
Jayce: artificer
Caitlyn: rogue (specifically inquisitive)
Mel: Abjuration wizard
Ambessa: battle master fighter (fr we see so many battle manuevers)
Sevika: fighter
Vander: paladin
heimerdinger: bard..?
Silco: probably rogue (mastermind)
Singed: ... i honestly dont know. Some type of wizard or druid maybe
There aren't enough dnd classes for all of these cool characters ahhhhhhh.
Mel [Redated for spoilers]
Singed is an Alchemist Artificer DMPC who is somehow tied to the backgrounds of half the PCs and no one knows it.
And Sevika is a Barbarian with a cool magical prosthesis. She is just pissed off all the time.
Heimerdinger as a ranger would be cool
What kind of ranger are you thinking?
Brother if you’ve watched arcane jinx is SUCH a rouge. Sneaks around, unbelievable stealthy, and all she uses are sneak attacks. Love the art but major whiff
Yeah, we were too focused on her being a jinx with the wild magic haha. It is interesting to see all he different takes on the characters.
Jinx should’ve been an artificer.
Bro made them demacians
This adventuring group would be arrested at the gates of demacia 😆 NO MAGES!

@@AnimatedArmor Not entirely sure what you mean with "Snr classes". I meant more like character concepts and what classes they would have and how to build them to best represent their features and skills in the series. Very cool visual concepts!
@tobiasnenseter8044 oops sorry, I just got a new phone today so I mistyped DnD. The keyboard is a different size than I am use to.
@@AnimatedArmor Haha, no worries, but yes, it can absolutely be fun!
For the full cast:
Vi: fighter i think. She can tank best of everyone which made me consider barbarian but she never really loses control when she gets angry except for that one time when her dad and all her friends just died right in front of her so i don't think that counts.
Jinx is an arcane trickster, sorry not sorry
Vander: barbarian
Silco: Mastermind rogue
Jayce: Paladin for sure. He combos magic and melee and always gives v righteous vibes
Viktor: He's a wizard to me, he studied books and science in order to create magic. Otherwise maybe cleric.
Ekko: Ekko is THE artificer to me, sorry.
Caitlyn: I'mma go ranger bc sniper
Mel: now THAT'S a sorcerer for sure.
She is a ruthless melee character but she is v tactical about it and we're shown her training with a quarterstaff
I rly feel like i'm missing someone obvious haha
I'm still mad I missed the jinx as an arcane trickster. 🫠 I am super interested in Ambessa being a monk of some kind. She is definitely on the list for next time.
Before watching the video. I'm gonna put down what classes I'd personally go with for the three characters. And also one or two alternatives. All 3 feel very much like Intelligence focused characters. Though the very very small number of INT classes in 5e makes that tricky. (Also, I am more or less fully disregarding the LoL versions of the characters in my evaluations here.)
Echo.
Well, they all have high int stats
@@Muireachgaming8957 This is very true.
Sorcerer and Warlock are both charisma casters…
@@Munchkin.Of.Pern09 There is only so many int casters I can give them, and if I can't do repeats it makes it really hard.
