- This is a quick and easy 2 ingredient DIY face paint. This paint would be a perfect alternative for the heavy and harsh face paints you find during the Halloween season (for example). These paints can also be worn during sporting events to root for your favorite team (i.e., FIFA), or as a cool face painting session with kids.

Yes, agreed! Putting setting powder on top would make a mess, lol.
technically lotion would work if its a thicker base, right? cause i've never seen 'cream' in any markets i've been to and have only seen lotions or items labeled moisturizers. one of my moisturizers is quite thick though so i think it should work-

It's pretty easy to wash off with soap and water-- or makeup remover. After a couple of hours of wear, there was only minimal staining from the red paint (and maybe even less of blue), if I remember correctly. But it wasn't a big deal for me, since it was on my arm. It's going to depend on how pigmented your eye shadows are and how much you put into the paint. You can always make a small batch and test out on your arm a few days before your event. Good luck! :3

Hello :) Yes, hand cream will be fine for this project. As long as what you use says “cream” instead of “lotion.” Have fun!
May I use fair and lovely
Hi! I’ve never tried fair and lovely or any other skin lightening cream, so I’m not sure how it would react with eye shadows or long term. I’d recommend just using plain moisturizing face cream. If you do end up trying fair and lovely, let me know how it turns out :)

Hi! I’m sorry, I thought I replied to you earlier- Yes, cereva will work as long as it says “cream” on the bottle. You don’t want to use “lotion” because it will be too runny. Hope this helps ;)
Does it dry like paint or somewhat dry
The cream absorbs somewhat into the skin, but remains smudgeable. It will not dry completely (at least not for me after 2 hrs of wear.). At the end of the vid, when I’m providing tips, you can kinda see how it “dried” after two hours. It’s kinda hard to see, but Hopes that helps :)

Paints? such as acrylics? -> I don’t recommend that lol. I also don’t recommend food colors because they can cause staining on your skin. Eye shadow is much safer when applied to the face :) Hope this helps.

Hi! Yes, body butter is a cream. I read it’s heavier and oilier than regular creams, so you might want to test out a color and see how it holds up. IMO, I think it should do well. Let me know how it turned out 😉👍🏼

Hello, I didn’t try blending the colors together after getting the colors I wanted, but you can def try adding more pigment to the cream to change the colors. Start with light colors if you want to go darker. Going from dark to light will be hard to achieve.

Hi! I’ve never used Vaseline, but I imagine the color would come out too translucent if you just use Vaseline and eyeshadows together. Let me know how it turns out if you experiment on this :)

Hello :) It's never going to really dry completely, I think. I had it on for a couple of hours to check and I could still smudge it before I decided to take it off. The creaminess "consistency" does change as time goes on--as I showed in the video. Good luck! :D

you can make a mustardy yellow paint and a brown paint. Paint your face with the yellow first, then add some brown blotches to simulate the giraffe brown patches-> at least this is how I’d go about. Hope your fun project goes well! Let me know how it turns out!
