You got me using Excadrill with your old videos. I lead with Ex, and it's always hilarious when the other trainer leads with a Dialga and switches to Kyogre, only for you to counter with the Dragonite. It's a GG. I use Dialga instead of the Togekiss though.
@FLW Great video. Since you're no longer running Dragonite in the lead, I recommend swapping Hurricane out for Outrage. I know you reserve Hurricane to surprise the Togekisses who don't shield but the scenarios where you will try to get to Hurricane to land on Togekiss is very, very slim. Instead, having Outrage in your 3rd battle would have flipped the matchup against the Dialga with no shields (or giratina-o for that matter). Even versus a neutral matchup like Snorlax, having Outrage which is much easier to get to can flip the match for you. Statistically speaking, it has a higher potential usage rate than Hurricane in most scenarios.
I have pretty much none of the meta mons for the master league, so I'm running a team of Excadrill - Palkia - Mamoswine. I'm very much banking on the opposing lead being a steel type. Mamoswine is there to check dragon types and potentially cause some problems against steel types. Since those two have a horrible weakness to water, Palkia is there pretty much for the sole purpose of countering Kyogre. If only Palkia had decent charge moves, it would have a lot more utility. I'm not recommending this team by any means, but it is a fun unconventional team that's working surprisingly well (getting 3 to 4 wins in rank 9 consistently)
@@franka100 we never know, it might be used in themed ML matches. And themed matches might be coming in the future. Plus it'll eventually get its mega evolution as well.
After watching your video i decided to try out my maxed best buddy excadrill with the movesets you have listed. I also have my lundo dragonite maxed with same movesets you used. My 3rd mon is a maxed out metagross that's 15/14/15 with typical movesets as anyone would have. I've been stuck at level 7 for a minute. I ran through teams with excadrill now.they aren't expecting him lol. Nice call.
I just started using Dragonite, Dialga, and Giratina-O. I get wrecked by Togekiss, but other than that it's way fun. I'm at 2050 so not everyone has Togekiss. They actually cover each other pretty well with their second typings and sometimes you can see the shock in the opponent that you are running all dragons
Mamoswine, Rhyperior and Dragonite All I have powered up thanks to community days - weak to water and fighting (if I can't win switch and get Dragonite on them), wrecks double steel teams and covers the Giratinas and Togetics
I've been thinking of switching out draco meteor for hurricane on my best dragonite. It's also got dragon claw so I figured that hurricane would add more type coverage.
Nice team, I'll give excadrill a try! My current team im having a lot of success with: Machamp (dynamic punch) Rhyperior (surf/stone edge) Metagross (Meteor mash)
Need to correct you on Melmetal: Rock Slide and Superpower charge up at the same time. Rock Slide costs 45 energy, Superpower costs 40. With Thunder Shock charging 9 energy per 2 turn move, they end up fully charged at the same time after 5 moves/10 turns.
Uhh rock slide does not take very much energy at all, almost the exact same as superpower 40 vs 45 not way more. We shouldn't give the wrong idea even if something does cost more. Especially since Mel metal charges so fast
Pike AK DID A VIDEO In which he used Mewtwo instead of dragonite! It does work better for the team this because Mewtwo is the safe switch! Man he was taking shields left to right by the time Exca and Toga came in there was only one to no shields and or 2 mons to take down one of which was already low on HP! So yeah I think changing dragonite for Mewtwo will make this team much better! I don’t have stardust otherwise I’ll have used 109% Excadrl man I love that mon! Great video!
In the first game you didn't need to swap into dragonite, as you already had a drill run ready to hit melmetal and you would've gotten CMP priority and still win thanks to escadrille having higher attack stat than Mel. In the second game, you could've farmed down on the meta gross with mud slap, very sure you would've made it unless the opponent was cheating, and then gotten a drill run onto kyogre that could've gone through or burnt a shield, and made the win more defining, but I guess doesn't matter there because you won anyway. Otherwise cool video! I'm not investing into escadrille as I already use rhyperior as a mud-slapper and does great with dialga and shadow ball mewtwo
I will just follow your teams.. My rhyperior doesn't have Rock Wrecker but I still end up at rank 7. Gonna change to Excadrill after farming some buddy candies..
Do the Iv matter for what u have... I have the same group set but mine is Dragonite 15/15/15 Exadrill. 15/15/10 & 15/15/9 Togekiss. 15/15/14 &15/13/15 Do there ivs matter
Gardevoir isn't as bulky as Togekiss and it's going to be weak against Giratina-O moves, against other dragons it should be fine, for Dialga it works the same as Togekiss where you're gonna have to shield Iron Head to deal some significant damage to Dialga
In that game you lost, you could have stopped attacking with dragonite and let the dialgo throw an iron head to take out dragonite, then togekiss could come in and farm it down enough to get to flamethrower to take out melmetal when it came back in
Why can't my excadrill learn iron head cause I already gave him 5 charged tm's and he keeps getting rock slide or earthquake iron head will be it's second charge move
I hate master league. I quit the game early 2017 and came back last month so I can’t do a lot. I get plenty of encounters etc but my team has to be some variation of metagross, glaceon, Gyarados, Dragonite and landuros.

Good content as always but in my opinion your screen could be a bigger :/
I'm pretty much using this team, except I have breloom in the back. People dont expect a brelloom and it can farm kyogres with seed bomb easily.
It would've been such a beast with Grass Knot instead and you can farm some energy to use a Sludge Bomb for those Charm users
