Mehtab Ali belongs to the very famous Bhindi Bazar Gharana. His father, Ustad Mohsin Ali Khan who is a great Sitar player himself, started training Mehtab from the age of 4 years. Mehtab has been performing since then and on his first performance at the age of 6 at Pandit Birju Maharaj Ji’s birthday celebration, he left the crowd astounded. His passion and his focus towards his career has made him an incredible budding Sitar player. Even today, at this young age, Mehtab has a sterling reputation all over the country. He has performed in various cities leaving the audience amazed. His exponentially amplifying talent never fails to stun the people who listen or watch him perform. He has had the pleasure of representing his country India in many successful concerts internationally as well.

At the age of 21, Ishaan Ghosh stands out as one of the front-ranking Tabla players in the younger generation of India’s Classical Music scene. An exceptionally gifted child prodigy, Ishaan gave his first Tabla solo recital when he was barely 2.5 years old. He is the grandson of one of the most acclaimed Tabla Maestros of the 20th century, Late ‘Padmabhushan’ Nikhil Ghosh, the grand-nephew of the pioneer flutist, the legendary Pannalal Ghosh, and the son and disciple of the internationally renowned Tabla and Sitar stalwart Nayan Ghosh. He has performed with landmark figures in the Indian classical music field including his father Pt. Nayan Ghosh, Pt Jasraj, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Padmabhushan Pt Buddhadev Dasgupta, Ustad Aashish Khan, Pt. Tejendra Narayan Majumdar, violin legend Dr. N Rajam, Ustad Nishat Khan Rakesh Chaurasia & Purbayan Chatterjee, among several other prominent artists. Despite being firmly grounded in the classical tradition, Ishaan continues to explore new vistas of Tabla playing through his novel interpretations and creative collaborations with musicians of various other genres. Since the age of 8, Ishaan has been continuously touring and performing across the USA, UK, Europe among several other countries. In 2016, he was specially invited to perform for the Habitat for Humanity project in Atlanta, USA, and felicitated by the former president of the United States of America, Jimmy Carter. Ishaan's captivating Tabla solos are an eclectic amalgamation of figured articulations and complex rhythmic tapestries groomed with appealing delineations drawn from the vast repertoire which he has inherited under maestro Nayan Ghosh’s blessed tutelage. He has carved a niche for himself in both solo Tabla playing and accompaniment. His power-packed solo performances and sensitive accompaniment have won him critical acclaim from both musicians as well as for connoisseurs.

Wonderful Miya ki Malhar. Mehtab is a child prodigy. At such young age he is playing like a maestro. Ishaan has also learnt the trade under the watchful eyes of his illustrious father. Great combination of the two.
