Maybe a manhunt but you can get these items easier like an op loot like by eating sugar or like breaking coral blocks etc

You should do a manhunt where you're unable to craft (with some exceptions, like blaze powder, eyes of ender, and other small conveniences like a furnace), but you receive items every minute that progressively get better. The hunter(s) would have KeepInventory, and the items every player receives are the same, so no matter what, you'd be evenly matched. You could add custom items to the mix that you can practice with beforehand, but note that anything you add will be given to the hunter(s) as well.
A few recommendations if you like this idea: either give tools every now and then in case they break, or make the tools unbreakable; give items with enchantments that you wouldn't normally get (such as loyalty on a trident), as it would make the battles more unique; make sure that the items you get follow a type of progression; and, most importantly, don't make it too OP.
that seems like something they should rather work together in otherwise the hunters will clap
If they can't craft they wouldn't need furnaces, iron can't do anything on it's own, could just get campfires somehow from twist instead and be slightly more efficient for no additional fuel required.
Actually that could be a twist of it's own- can't use furnaces only campfires for both food and smelting ingots
this isnt something yello should do. this is something bablu would do since he likes putting himself at a disadvantage

Maybe things like the longsword didnt work because you had a shield and right clicking would normally make the ability happen but it triggered the shield instead so it didnt work

I think the plug-in that was used wasn't fully optimized so only certain items did damage while others didn't 😅

Not sure if this has been suggested before but I just had a potential idea - Aggro Mobs drop OP Loot
If a mob is targeting you when you kill it, you get stuff, and it could really confuse the hunters for a bit

Also if your looking for data packs with awesome op weapons, I recommend checking out Kindred408’s data packs. Some of the recipes are expensive, but are very fun to use and their newest datapack even has upgradable weapons too.

Minecraft man hunt but you can enchant mobs! ( Enchanting mobs with looting or fortune books give more items like looting on cows give a stack of cooked beef and looting on villagers gives you all possible enchanted books ect.)
