Because she really don’t fallow the lyrics and she’s off keys most of the time . Because of her voice it’s hard to like follow the tune or the way she sing it . All she wants to do is scream and whistle !!! Is not like Regine and Darren , they have amazing natural regular voice that they don’t have to scream or try to make their voice comes out , like Morissete . This are the natural voices in my opinion... I have listen to many Philippines singers , but the natural voice you have the best it is to listen to and to be able to sing any song with out screaming like Morisette does ... Even Sarah , her voice is ok , is not like Regine and Darren’s . Now this two people have the natural voices . That’s why their able to sing any thing with out pushing their voice so hard , and it comes out like natural way of their voices ... Natural voice is you don’t have to whistle or scream every time each person have to sing . And listening to The diva Regine and king Darren , is absolutely just amazing to listen to any time ...
I discovered that there is SUCH a SUPER TALENTED young lady existing in our midst just a few days ago. Her video suddenly played right on the spot while thinking of what to search for that particular moment. I was drawn right away by the RICH TONE QUALITY of her voice. So I search for more. Then it hit me.... she's got a wide vocal range. The low tone is deep resounding like its caressing my soul each time; every beat of the notes synchronizes with the beat of my heart while I listen. When she reached for the high notes...... I am soaring high above the cloudy skies into the stillness of the heavens as she conveys the emotions; pouring them all out using an array of vocal techniques that gives a tremendously astounding sound that is so wonderful to hear and it always ends in one great climactic moment. One would wish for another song or perhaps an encore whenever her whole, performance comes to an end. She is a natural born artist..... amazingly gorgeous, a power house of talent and vibrant energy. I'm thankful that I have found someone so interestingly worthwhile to watch. In an instant, I become a fan. Hmmmnnnnn........kya nga ba I don't wanna make puyat eh! I found out about her tuloy.......Ayan lalo akong mapupuyat watching all her videos......... wahahaha. Anyway, this one for me along with her other covers that I have seen so far is better than the original......its seldom that one artist could give justice to a lot of difficult songs. WOW!!! I JUST CANT GET ENOUGH OF Eeeeeet!!! STAR STRUCK FEVER!!! MORISSETTE is the name. Opppppsss!!! hold your horses....please!!! This is the best cover of 'Hello' by a Filipino artist so far. She had delivered the song with emotions (though she said at the beginning that she's happy and she can't fully internalize the song, but as the performance went through, she embraced the emotion of the song). Her voice was excellent, no pitchy probs and her short whistle-tones helped in stretching the sad emotions being delivered.
No offense to Sarah G or Regine V's fans but Morissette got this one. Let's judge base on the grounds of covering the song not on the popularity, other performance or how long the artist has been in the industry. And another thing, Morissette has been sitting the whole time unlike Sarah and Regine who needed to stand up to posturize their vocals. :)
and yeah, it's a huge annoyance why artists like her rarely get the chance of performing at the big concert halls of this country. She got an amazing voice.

i love mori's total musicality... in all fairness to sarah g... she is great, too... how long had she been singing n bah? more than a decade, no wonder n mejo iba n boses nia when performing live. i could not compare them kz like other music artists, may mga darating na mas magagaling at mas bata kesa sa mga nauna like sarah g, eric santos, yeng c and many more but still they can deliver a song beautifully in their own style. filipino singers are really amazing! now and forever! mabuhay ang lahing pinoy! :-)

Actually marami naman tayong magagaling na song writers gago lang talga mga media networks at recording companies. Idagdag mo pa yung masyadong consumer driven na economy natin. filipino kasi dont care about quality basta nakakatawa, nakakainlove or kinanta ng idol nila kht panget okay lang. Tignan nyo sila Aldub, Katniel, Jadine. Mas marami pa ata silang sales kesa sa mga professional singers. Wala tlga taste filipino sa arts and music. Kasalanan ng Deped yan eh. Kung natuturo lang nang maayos ang arts and music sa elem at high school edi sana mas maganda appreciations ng pinoy ngayon. At sana music and art teachers talaga hindi yung MAPEH na wla nman alam tlga.
