moral of the story is that you could end up like this magpie so get strong.

Aww, that's all you got? I wanted to see more! Seriously though, that was quite a spectacular display that Cooper's Hawk made. The magpie squirmed all it wanted, but as long as its talons are pinned at the tail, its obviously not getting away. It was cool seeing that hawk pluck its feathers while the magpie was still alive. Sometimes they can spend over an hour before all the feathers are fully plucked and they proceed to eat their insides. It was probably a long fight, because the hawk was having trouble just getting a few feathers out of the thing.

You sound like an expert on this topic, glad you liked the video. Unfortunately i have to tell you that the magpie got away in the end (but obviously not filmed) due to some kids who came to close, so the hawk fleed.

I am considering going into falconry. After watching more than 800 hawk videos on UA-cam, I have a good understanding of how they do things in the wild. I consider videos like yours an inspiration for me! Dang, that totally sucks that hawk couldn't get its meal! Seriously!

I've wondered why animals scream like that when in serious trouble. Rabbits for example never seem to make a sound but when in the jaws of a predator they scream loudly. There are artificial hunting calls that mimic dying rabbits to lure in predators. So my guess is they scream to try and lure in another predator which may attack the animal killing them so maybe they can get away. Last option.

Why do you idiots go so far out of your way to be obnoxious about stupid causes? There are slave labor camps in China, there are tons of people in the Middle East and Eastern Europe that are sold into slavery every single day. And you waste your time and energy worrying about these stupid animals. Shame on you. For real.

Winter Vanfleet actually hawks have have talons magpies often tear into baby birds when they are still alive but magpies don’t kill adult rabbits but larger species like rooms and ravens may scavenge and sometimes kill sick or dead rabbits but I think they would probably take a rabbit kit

Aftermath your a psychopath what have animals ever done to you? You just think maybe because they aren’t as smart they don’t feel pain and deserve to be locked up in cages and killed with toxic gas. All creatures are equal we should not be thinking animals don’t deserve respect shame on you. Please just think for a second you obviously don’t know what PAIN is all living things feel pain and yes although people being tortured in camps is horrible you need to think about other people there opinions and most importantly the way animals on battery farms are treated. They are forced to live in their own waste with no hope of escaping so they just sit their either hoping by some miracle they get rescued or they get killed. But those camps you just mentioned at least they can escape actually lots of people escape or at least nearly do but how can you escape when your locked in a cage. Although you might be a bit to thick to know this, all creatures have a will to live and survive these creatures live their entire lives in cages not knowing what happiness is at least the captured people stood a chance and actually where free at some point

And then leave the hawk to starve. Another painful death, caused by you. Instead, you could walk away, if you watching the hawk surviving makes your stomach turn. This isn't kindergarten, grow the heck up, and learn to deal with it and cope harder. Because the hawk is doing what it needs to do in order to survive.
