    On our 6400 kilometer drive this summer, we passed more than a few derelict churches. The broken windows, overgrown graveyards, and peeling paint seemed to cry out to passersby: "God is dead."
    Some churches have been awkwardly converted into homes. It's difficult to disguise the signature architecture of steeples and stain-glass windows. But for the others, grasses grew right up to the steps, birds flew in and out of windows, and in one church a small fox took up residence. Stepping in through doorways I was sometimes startled by a flurry of wings, which broke upon the silent mood of abandonment.
    Across much of the west, congregations are dropping their chins and locking their doors. They can no longer carry out the task to meet in worship, and to bring light to their communities. Many have found themselves unable to stand against the taunts of culture. Our world insists that religion is old-fashioned, irrelevant, and archaic. People have stopped attending.
    It probably doesn't help that Christianity has become associated with stubborn dogma, nor that many of our theological boundaries are associated with sexism, prudishness, and ignorance. Some of us have even forgotten how to communicate Christ's message of hope, peace, and joy, or have never experienced it ourselves.
    Take a look at the words of Psalm 74! They could have been written for this decade, so relevant are their lines. For example, "We do not see our emblems; there is no longer any prophet, and there is no one among us who knows how long. How long, O God, is the foe to scoff? Is the enemy to revile your name forever? Why do you hold back your hand; why do you keep your hand in your bosom?"
    Lord, we cry out to you to change our world. Bring back our ability to speak love and kindness, hope and purpose to a world that is desperately lost. The ground cries for deliverance! Do not turn your face from us. May the kingdom of God return to the earth!
    Amen

    Plea for Help in Time of National Humiliation
    A Maskil of Asaph.
    1 O God, why do you cast us off for ever?
    Why does your anger smoke against the sheep of your pasture?
    2 Remember your congregation, which you acquired long ago,
    which you redeemed to be the tribe of your heritage.
    Remember Mount Zion, where you came to dwell.
    3 Direct your steps to the perpetual ruins;
    the enemy has destroyed everything in the sanctuary.
    4 Your foes have roared within your holy place;
    they set up their emblems there.
    5 At the upper entrance they hacked
    the wooden trellis with axes.
    6 And then, with hatchets and hammers,
    they smashed all its carved work.
    7 They set your sanctuary on fire;
    they desecrated the dwelling-place of your name,
    bringing it to the ground.
    8 They said to themselves, ‘We will utterly subdue them’;
    they burned all the meeting-places of God in the land.
    9 We do not see our emblems;
    there is no longer any prophet,
    and there is no one among us who knows how long.
    10 How long, O God, is the foe to scoff?
    Is the enemy to revile your name for ever?
    11 Why do you hold back your hand;
    why do you keep your hand in your bosom?
    12 Yet God my King is from of old,
    working salvation in the earth.
    13 You divided the sea by your might;
    you broke the heads of the dragons in the waters.
    14 You crushed the heads of Leviathan;
    you gave him as food for the creatures of the wilderness.
    15 You cut openings for springs and torrents;
    you dried up ever-flowing streams.
    16 Yours is the day, yours also the night;
    you established the luminaries and the sun.
    17 You have fixed all the bounds of the earth;
    you made summer and winter.
    18 Remember this, O Lord, how the enemy scoffs,
    and an impious people reviles your name.
    19 Do not deliver the soul of your dove to the wild animals;
    do not forget the life of your poor for ever.
    20 Have regard for your covenant,
    for the dark places of the land are full of the haunts of violence.
    21 Do not let the downtrodden be put to shame;
    let the poor and needy praise your name.
    22 Rise up, O God, plead your cause;
    remember how the impious scoff at you all day long.
    23 Do not forget the clamour of your foes,
    the uproar of your adversaries that goes up continually.

    In the long time since I stopped writing, I have rediscovered your performance of the psalms. In addition to 42, my favorites were 74, 44 and 11 in your performance. Sometimes I can listen to them for an hour or even more. The music is very deep, beautiful and strongly matched to the words. Thank you very much! Thanks to your service, the Lord greatly helps to deepen the relationship with him to learn prayer!

      @@JasonSilverMusic People think that to be the Church they must attend a building, dear friend, but you have to be the Church! The Lord is leading His sheep out of the hired hand who do not feed God's flock, permit sin, and are not led by the Holy Spirit, but by their own lusts. May the Lord have mercy! We need to be sad that people know about God, but do not know Him personally. Simply calling themselves Christians, but they are not. In the Revelation of John it is written: “Come out of her, my people!” From the false church, a harlot with this world. We need to go and be separate, so as not to be partakers. But only the Lord will help! Pray about this in solitary prayer and Jesus will help you follow Him on the True narrow path of Salvation! For there is no other way. Amen.

      True fellowship of God's children are not concerts and loud shouts, and not sitting on a bench in a building for two hours. But it is the guidance of the Holy Spirit in fulfilling God's word. sinful christians, are not pleasing to God dear friend, who love their beloved sins and have become like this sinful world, imitating it in everything. It's like asking God if He needs a big, loaded train of rotten tomatoes, or Jesus will take the few healthy ones. The Lord Jesus Christ will come a second time, no longer for sinners, but for His Saints! The Lord bless you to the knowledge of His Truth, for many will be deceived in their expectations and He will tell many to depart from Me I never knew you.
