@@alenavekon1726 sinti Roma khale are independent groups they are all part of the so called gypsy families coming from old india .. we are one of the oldest Indian tribes living in India in the 5th century we were captured and taken to Persia than in Persia Iran one half were taken to Egypt other half to moors living there from the 5th century as servants musicians metal workers they helped the army with making swords from metal and than in the weekends they had to play music while they were partying kings soldiers ruled over us we were cheap labour plus entertainers .. now back in the day the Roma coming from the dom doma domari tribes of north india .. the sinti is coming from the sidh tribe today it would be called Pakistan where they lived in india .. the khale kale were living in India but I don’t know the location.. while each gypsy tribe were taken to Arabic countries and living there since 5th century they mixed with the locals there were also Arabic tribes who were slaves with us and also Jewish tribes .. so the gypsies mixed with local countries they lived in by the time we were taken to Europe by the Turks as slaves once again we were mixed each tribes mixed with different Arabic tribes .. so we are an mixed race living across the world 🌎 .. so there are little bit differences who we mixed that’s why we have many types of gypsy cultures etc .. but al of us basically Indian tribes who mixed with others sometimes forcefully sometimes not ..basically we are coming from the same country and back in the day are blood lines were one .. but today very mixed with many race ..

Half the words in Romani are understood by Rajasthani Indians. Bersh, diwas, manush salo sali .ek, do trin char . chora, chori, cuiri for knife tati for hot kaki for uncle are used by us even today.
No doubt in my mind they left India about 1000 years ago at the time of great King Prithviraj Chauhan .Roma were mostly his soldiers.

Yeah well we came from India so it makes sense .. but not all of us come from one region we come from south India north India and including Pakistan .. our langue is the oldest Sanskrit language at least the majority of our basic words comes from the oldest Sanskrit language now the Iranians specially the Kurds also understands many words from our language .. that’s why they call our Romanes language an Indo-Aryan family language ..

Yes, there are quite a few Romani dialects, and that's not even counting mixed languages where Romani and a second language were blended together (an example of this is Anglo-Romani, spoken by the Romanichal in the UK). This is due to the Roma being traditionally nomadic (they're spread out and that meant they'd each develop their own distinct dialect as time went by) and also because Romani was, historically, exclusively an unwritten language. It's only been recently that there have been efforts to make one unified alphabet for Romani (in the past, native speakers have just been borrowing the writing system of the most common non-Romani language in the area, ex: Russian, Hungarian, Romanian, English).
Sadly, we do not know as much about Romani as other languages. Thanks to it being a mostly unwritten language spoken by a minority that is traditionally closed off to non-Roma, there aren't many historical documents we can use. And not to mention that the Roma were and are wildly discriminated against in and out of Europe, resulting in there not being much interest in the language by scholars or funding by government officials.

They are in Europe most likely since 14 century,here they are pretty much the same skin tone as these people(sometimes darker,but still are capable of having blue eyes) for the exception for the blond girl,who is actually white. But she could be just a friend,who is learning to dance... I don't know most of older romani's are finished like only two-three years in school. They can't read,they can't write, because of that language can change a lot by mixing with whatever countries they visited and languages they also learned. Most of them there I live have Russian surnames,sometimes polish names... And I don't live neither in russia,neither in poland. These include shared archaisms that have been lost in the Central Indo-Aryan languages over the millennium since Dom/Rom emigration, a series of innovations connecting them with the Northwestern zone group, indicating their route of migration out of India, and finally a number of radical syntactical changes due to superstrate influence of Middle Eastern languages, including Persian, Arabic and Byzantine Greek." In conclusion there are many para-romani languages, witch can different alot. Maybe the same words,but the pronunciation is unrecognizable,some words can be different,maybe the structure of sentences. They also have different religions.
Also I believe in the longer run they will just disappear. A thousand years,and they will assimilate more and more with the nations they are currently living with,becoming more and more a like... At the point they will completely lose the remaining roots of India. Whiter and whiter or darker. Accordingly to the weather and brightness of the sun of the area. Language will also probably assimilate. Evolution much,trying to survive.
i am rom FROM Romania . We are dark skin with indian features . My romanian friends have white skin and mostly blond hair .
