Curious, my Depth charge deals ~22,000 dmg per hit, and it takes about 3 hits to destroy 1 eggs at faction zombie pods. But when there are other zombies, I destroy them in as many as 6-7 hits (it destroys 4/5 of the pack of eggs, with the last one taking like 3 hits in a row to be destroyed, eventhough it is at less than 1 bar of hp, that could be a bug though, and is rare). These were all tested at close range, maybe there is something with the angle then? Or maybe mines have damage fall off (I think not though)? My depth charge has 13 pierce, and with a 1.96 blast radius, so is it really possible for the damage to be reduced when a small crowd appears (about 7 zombies like runners), or are mines affected by range (like it measures the distance of how far you are from the mine when it explodes)? The damage is sometimes inconsistent, eventhough it is unable to crit.
@@xxxsplaylist9942 Oh that could make sense. The blast radius, though the blast radius is pretty large, but because the mines detonate on contact, it may not have the chance to hit all 5 eggs (if let's say, a bloater is slightly in the way). Thanks though, that could be why

a purge nest has 5 eggs. did your bullets hit all 5 eggs at a time?
