Nice production value...good information. I've sold you a few pieces over the last couple years and you've always been a straight shooter. I've also referred a few friends to Skylabs and they always react the same: "Who/Where is that?" Hopefully you can get some more videos out and get some increased brand recognition...love your store!
Great video. One more frequent issue I've seen when shipping speakers is the duct covers being pushed in due to not protecting them in shipping. For example, I bought a set of 4 speakers and for some reason, the seller took the grills off and packed them facing each other.
Is there some sort of listing of shops like yours somewhere? It used to be easy back in the day to find local dealers, go spend an hour or an afternoon comparing equipment to make a purchase. Some of those had their own service department or there was a repair shop or two in most sizable towns. But no more. Not sure if the big box stores killed all that or something else. Wish I was closer to your store.
i got a little pissed off after finding out i could get even more advanced versions of my receiver for cheaper, watching this video kinda puts my purchase in perspective...i actually got a decent deal on a fully functional piece of hardware, like you say,everyone has a diffrent definition for "serviced", the price and the overall rating of the seller is what counts and stays relatively fair. not everything that shines is gold, i took on a project for restoring a beogram rx...i got for 20$, it powered on and started playing a record all the buttons worked kinda funky,blew up 3 minutes later with smoke and everything...now its fix this and replace that, the stylus alone is like 350$ mmc3, they don't make em..and not everybody can fix them.
