I really love the fact that Seth truly protects and cares for his staff to the point that he would refuse to accept certain guests who were only nice to him but rude to everyone else. He's not out there to please people, but Seth is certainly out there to protect his own. What a class act.
Yeah, this was a very good interview. Clearly very well prepared but also relaxed so it didn’t “feel” prepped. Just felt like 2 people having a nice conversation.
Great Interview with Seth. He is the best current late night host by far. The relaxed vibe of the show is so good. The way he appreciates his writers and the crew on the show.
Connor O’Malley was so funny on the show this week. It’s great how supportive Seth is of his writers. It’s a trait that is picked up from Tina and Lorne I think. It’s amazing how much of the American comedy media stems from Studio 8H.
Thanks for this! Appreciate the interview direction, not asking the same generic “hey you have a show!” type questions. Heard some interesting new stuff. Jackal approved 🐾
When Letterman retired, I was adrift. He was the North Star of talk shows. And I've seen hundreds off Carsons. Seth and Co. grew on me quickly. His innovation and peer behind the scenes was an improvement and refreshing.
really appreciated that you'd also clearly read/watched lots of his previous interviews and anticipated the answer to get more in depth insights with your questions!
3:02 The interviewer's response to Seth's footing joke reminds me of Mort Sahl being worried that his first audience at Berkley would just nod and say "that's funny" after every joke.
I'm one of those who really loved the pandemic era of the show and I'm glad that energy has stayed. I came for the attic, but I stayed for Corrections 😜
Great interview, I appreciate the interviewer letting him complete each question before asking the next. I think there could’ve been more time talking about corrections but thats just the jackal in me. Again Great interview.
He did take another 2-week hiatus a little after this interview and will miss some some key developments, but at least he'll be back for the Sept. 10th debate (if it happens) and will have a prime-time special on the 11th. He also won't miss the September 18th sentencing hearing in NYC.
I'm so glad that Seth calls out those "they're nice to me" types as purely transactional. I would add egocentric since they don't care how those types treat others, as long as they're "nice to me"! 🤨
Ooohhhh watch the online only “correction” on his channel. Unfortunately you have to start at episode one of corrections and watch them all the way through to episode 110 🫣😂
He gets us. We get him. Jackal for life.
Jackals are the best!
"Surprise Infection" haha
🐾🐾🐺
Visiting Jackal here. Always watching...
We love Seth's Jackals!! Welcome :)
me too!
Hear, hear!
Jackal here reporting to listen & provide input as needed 😂
@@teresasavi8821 Thank you for your service! :)

I love that Corrections became part of this conversation.😅 Seth’s relationship with that has been fantastic and just incredibly funny.
This interviewer is so prepared and informed. So many specific questions! Lovely to watch for a fan of the show.
Ah Seth also said it! she was outstanding! Congratulations
So glad you enjoyed it!

@InCreativeCompany could you please be his Australian dialect coach? His Rupert Murdoch is killing us jackals 🙂

He is by far my favorite talk show host to watch. His humor is just spot on. And I love when he has his friends on!
Agree 100% have you seen he dances when his friends are coming out? Because he's just so happy to have them 💙🐾🐾
One of his best skills as a host is his interview style, it always feels very natural
I love this man
🥰

Jackal approved might be one of the greatest compliments ever!! 😲
"Surprise Infection" will be a segment
We can only hope 🤞🏾
This is why we like him so much. Seth is such a decent guy. ❤❤

What a compliment at the end!
Seth is such a nice and gem person, he looks like a good boss !!
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this. Great interview! ❤️
I love surprise inspection! It’s really fun to guess who wrote it before you reveal it!
I love that you can tell she’s also a huge fan of his work.
3:02 The interviewer's response to Seth's footing joke reminds me of Mort Sahl being worried that his first audience at Berkley would just nod and say "that's funny" after every joke.
I have no idea what you are talking about but your comment sounds REALLY smart.
This is a spectacular interview!! Thanks for doing this!
Smart convo.
Great interview!

Love Jeff Wright! I’m so glad he’s on LNSM!
lol, sometimes we all hope Scollins gets a surprise infection! 😂
I thought he _was_ the surprise infection
yayaya corrections ! 💕
Man, I’d so love to interview Seth for the the podcast Full Disclosure
Proud member of the Jackal pack
Woof!
I think we can all agree Seth doesn’t need to utter the phrase “Friends busting on each other” again.
😱🤮🤣
Just waiting for family trips to be posted. Usually 5 or 6 am cst.
I worry every time Seth takes a hiatus because that's when the news tends to get "interesting" on us, lolz.

Jackal reporting for duty🫡🐾🐾
Day Drinking! 🍻 As much as I love it, I DO worry about the effect on Seth. And others!😅
OMG he doesn't have enough of his own podcasts, he's doing everyone else's too? At the 'anything not to be at home' stage, eh?
Dude, you are everywhere I visit on YT ! 😂 I do enjoy your comments.

How doesn't this have views!?
Give the Jackals time. They’ll find this.

6:58 only if they get a turn!
What the heck is a Jackal? It obviously means a big fan of the show or of Seth. But what are the origins?
Ooohhhh watch the online only “correction” on his channel. Unfortunately you have to start at episode one of corrections and watch them all the way through to episode 110 🫣😂
Yes, episode 1
😅😅😅😅 all the episodes in order
Fox News could learn something about corrections,I forgot they never make a mistake.
Jackal here.... new corrections have been missed....
Very funny Seth, "people who work for me are my friends and they love when I am mean to them and make fun of them..." They are not and they don't.
🎃
Oh so this is why he is gone 2 weeks at a time...
STOP IT!
😛
