Thank you for watching and enjoy your beer! :)
The best beer I have ever tasted.
Bavarian guy here, its nice to see you like german beer... well its actually possible to drink a bunch of these, in our beerfests my friends and me sometimes drink 10 or more of these each ;)
btw naturtrüb means that the beer is naturally cloudy and not clear... some sorts of beer were cleared up during the process of produktion
prost
Wow, that is quite a few! Ah thanks for the heads up. Cheers!
One of my all time favorite beers! Cheers form Finland!
arent they the creators of beer
My favourite beer.
It is a damn good beer!
Re: Glass rinse. The beer goes down better (into the glass!) if wet. Like Simon sez of the 252# when you used the 'Hard Rock' glass, great burp...Rob.
Absolutely amazing beer, best I’ve ever had. First time I tried it I was blown away, like “this is what a beer can be?” Perfect taste, just so satisfying and full when you drink it, leaves nothing to be desired and is refreshing as hell.
@tiltomatic1 Yeah this and Schneider Weisse Original, are my favorite Hefe Weizens for sure! Nice! They are fairly cheap here in Denmark too, but I only get this and the Dunkelweizen. Cheers!
I don't know much about beer, don't even drink much, but when i tried it felt my eyes flipped from excitement, it was that good. Seriously i'm not exaggerating !
Glad you enjoyed it man, this is one of the best Hefe Weizens out there! Cheers!
This is by far my favorite brand of beer. I love it so much my wife and I featured it in our beer combination at our wedding ceremony. Love your reviews man!
That is awesome dude, real dedication! Thanks a ton!
You're the man Peter!! Thanks for the beer knowledge and for having a wicked accent. The Vitus is the BEST Weihensteohaner by the way. We'll have to bring you on as a guest on our beer show sometime!!
Haha cheers guys! Vitus is killer, I am lucky to be able to get it fresh on tap here. That'd be fun. Cheers fellars!🤘
@@TheMasterOfHoppets Vitus fresh on tap!!!?? A dream come true. That's awesome mate. Will have to visit and bring our show that way one day. Cheers to you, and keep the videos coming!🍻
This beer is metal AF
my favorite beer hands down absolutely amazing could drink it everyday. good review my friend
Yup, a really nice summertime brew. Thanks and cheers!
@bigbullsful Glad you liked it. Its one of my favorites Hefe Weizens. Cheers!
I finally got my case of this beer in today, had a nice tall glass and some sausages on buns with fried onions for lunch. Oh man this is one really great beer, it is so refreshing and flavorful, I strongly believe that this is one of the best beers I have ever had in my life. Thanks very much for the review, I completely agree with everything you said about this beer ''except the banana smell, I just don't get that'' but everything else is perfect. Very good review.
Hey Peter,
thank you for bringing this one up!
I agree with you, german Hefe Weizens are very filling.
We here in bavaria sometimes drink it all evening long, it's all about 'training' ;-))
btw. if you want to compare other Weizens to the Schneider Weisse Original, you should look for a 'dunkel' Weizen
The 'Vitus' is a Weizenbock
Hey, thanks for mentioning the Maisel Weizen, haven't had that for a while, i'll pick it up next time!
Joe from Germany \m/ \m/
Sounds like a prefect beer to review outside on a lovely day... Awesome review, Awesome Weissbier CHEERS!
3:34 is awesome, how all the yeast just filled the beer color.
This is one of the best hefeweizens out there. I'd like to have this on draught some time. I've had their dunkelweiss on tap and it was great!
I'd like to do a beer review of a lot of hefeweizens some time soon.
When the last shot of beer with the yeast is poured in the glass
look at it, i call that the 'Lava Lamp effect' ;-)
'nuff said
Joe
2:55 Wish I knew that before I had my first hefeweizen about a month ago. It was a Paulaner *wonderful by the way*. I thought I should pour it normally. And boy was I surprised lol. Ended up with more head than actual beer lol. I learned to pour them slowly.
Had my first Weihenstephaner at a local bar, simply amazing!
My #2 behind Franzeskhaner. Great review.
Thanks dude!
Glad you liked it! Cheers!
There is so much kinds of weissbier in deutschland. I like franziskaner And augustiner weissbier also a lot
This is a winner. The Schneider original is awesome as well. I'm a big fan of the hefe weisse!
This beer is just the greatest. Danke schön og mange tak.
@TheEndosymbiosis Thanks. I do too, i also think this is one of the best. Paulaner is pretty good aswell, but my favorite Hefe has to be the Schneider Weisse Original , but this one is probably my second favorite. Cool, well i will probably review the Aventinus tomorow. Haven't bought the Vitus yet though, but i will soon. Cheers!
Love this beer damn is it good.
Its a classic! Cheers!
Weihenstephaner is my favorite brewery. Every variety i have tried has been exceptional. Your reaction was similar to mine. Prost!
+Nate Hamann Glad you enjoy their beer, they are a great brewery. Cheers!
You're right, it's really the model Hefeweizen.
Now this is a Beer review !
Thanks! Yeah that is a nice hefe too, but my favorites is this and Schneiders. Cheers!
Thanks! Yeah both a great brews. Cheers!
Great review, man!!! This one is my favorite beer along with Vitus...
Cant wait to try this, ive been constantly having Franziskaner/Paulaner/Erdinger but ive heard that Weihenstephaner trumps them all, thanks for the inspiration im sure to grab as many bottles of it as I can soon :^)
Its my favorite beer along with Hefeweissbier Dunkel and Vitus.
Awesome dude!
Awesome man, so glad you reviewed it and I finally realized what I had been passing up in the store.
+PigMine 7 Hah yeah, this is a great Hefe. Glad you finally got around to trying it. Cheers!
@JoeHell67 Hi. No problem man! Yeah they are!, im sord of in training. I drank a whole mini keg of Kapuziner this weekend hehe :-) Cool, the Maisels is solid! Cheers!
Great review. I love this hefe, one of the best of the kind. I also love the Paulaner. I look forward to seeing your review of the Vitus, which is very nearly equal to Aventinus in the weizenbock style in my not-so-humble opinion.
A great beer for sure, glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks! Yeah great beer for sure. I hope you can find it, its great! Cheers!
@sersloide Thanks man, im glad you like them!
Cool.
Yeah some of my German viewers have told me that before, but thanks for the info.
I will pick it up if I come across it. I have had their Doppelbock Dunkel, which is amazing! Cheers!
Among my favorites. I also enjoy Belhaven Twisted Thistle.
Yeah they do, but Hefe Weizens has more banana flavors compared to the Belgian Witbier. It comes from the ale yeast they use in the beer. Cheers!
well,well,well mr.peter:
u finally reviewed a bier from my fav brewery.
u finally reviewed my fav weissbier.
u finally reviewed my fav bier period.
as i have said on many other beer vlogs,i drink biers from this brewery about 250 days a year.
finally,
prost.
I am glad you enjoy them! I would if I could get it. Cheers!
Oh and thanks!
Yeah it is, I actually reviewed it not too long ago, check it out. Cheers!
By far my favorite beer to date.
+Gregg Thomas Glad you enjoyed it man!
Do you have a top 10 list?
Gregg Thomas I do a Top 10 Best beers every year, just search for it on my channel. Cheers!
I just drank it yesterday for the first time with pulled pork and I was in love. So I bought a lot at a local store and I clicked her to see how to pronounce it. So good gents try it
Glad you liked it dude!
The Vitus is great if you like this and bigger beers. Not as refreshing, obviously, but lot's more banana and clove; not as powdery and obviously more alcohol which reflects in the mouthfeel. Give Vitus a try!
@hiaslayer It is indeed, this and Schneider Original are my all time favorite Weizens! Cheers!
Great reviews Peter! What Hefeweizen would you say is the creamiest? I personally enjoy the creamy texture in beer!!
Love your German pronounciation xD! Great beer and great review!! Definitely will be slamming one or two.. for my bday next month!
Haha thanks dude, and happy birthday! :-D
Thanks!
Thanks! Probably Schneider Weisse Unser Original. That is a little more creamy than your average weizen and darker. Cheers!
мужик!!! ты крутой!!!!! like!!!
LOVE THIS
Cheers!
My favourite beer
We’ve just done a review on this one too, it was absolutely fantastic.
Weihenstephan brewery is not the oldest beer producing factory. The actually oldest one is the Weltenburg Abbey:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weltenburg_Abbey
BTW: I love your beer reviews!
+DJKLProductions Ah thanks for heads up man, and glad you enjoy the reviews!
Just bought two cases before I even tried it simply amazing
Glad you loved it!
Den her dukkede op på min forside i dag. Jeg synes klart, du skal få den frisure igen!
Haha, "The Return of Helmet Head" xD
I'm fairly new to beer but weissbiers are incredible.
Great review of a truly great beer. How do you think it compared to the Sierra Nevada hefe?
I thought that was very good as well.
@RHLatimer Thanks man! Cheers!
@Twinnigranrulio Nice. I can't get that brew unfortunately. I only get their Weizen and Dunkelweizen. Cheers!
3:43 makes my day, you're just a lovely freak
Haha cheers!
@JoeHell67 Oh yeah i have heard that term before. Cheers! :-)
@jjrudy41 Yeah its sick, i have been doing reviews almost every day except weekends, since i started. Cool, yeah i remember, i saw the video. But yeah it is a fantastic Hefe Weizen, lovely to sit and drink this stuff out in the sun!
Definitely a good beer. Prefer it to Heineken anyday but its so hard to find where I'm at. Gotta go to a total wine to get this
you think this is a good choice for christmas? or do you prefer any winter lagers. thanks for the review.
It depends on what you prefer. But I love having Stouts during Christmas :-)
@tiltomatic1 Sick! Weihenstephaner is much paler and Schneider is more like a Dunkelweizen, with looooads of banana flavors and aromas. Both are great beers though. Cheers!
Very nice on a hot day!!! Can easily drink 6!
Indeed!
Yeah. I prefer Schneider though. Cheers!
@Rabadamtimtimti Cool. I thought it was really good too!
@tiltomatic1 There is NO better Weizen than Weihenstephaner but I recommend you try Scheider as well- its like nothing else out there. It is darker, stronger, and has a very crisp, clean, refreshing taste! oh, and it bubbles up from the bottom just like champagne! Yea its pricey though. Also, try Avintinus by Shneider- amazing dunkel-bock! I dont usually even like dunkel but Avintinus is amazing! be warned though- its strong. Other weizens I like are Ayinger and Hacker-Pschorre.
Fantastic Beer it's My New Favorite only one problem I had with it was I was wanting to Grill German Bratwurst and to have with My 2nd one but the Butcher Shop was Closed LOL. THANKS for The video I'm out in the Countryside West of CHICAGO LOL I'm Glad the beer is available here
was just drinking them down in edi & the wolf with some work mates. velvety smooth goodness !!!
Good stuff for sure!
Dude.. the last centimeter of this beer is the best, you didn't get that far in this vid but how good is it to look forward to the dregs!! Superb. Prost and thanks for the vids! #fkcraftbeeer
Hey brother, I need some advice from a true hefeweizen dude. If I'm drinking a hefeweizen from a 12 ounce can do I need to roll the can? Pour the beer then swirl the remaining beer before I pour? What do you recommend when pouring out of s 12 ounce can?
Yeah, roll, swirl it, or something like that. I think a can would be easiest to roll. Cheers!
Do you pour this way the same with all Belgium beers?? Including Belgium IPA's as well?
I usually only add the yeast when drinking Wheat beers. I will otherwise usually leave the yeast in the bottle.
@@TheMasterOfHoppets thankyou for the advice, great review as well..I love Weihenstephaner🍺
I have taken a strong liking to the weizen ales over the years, the only contender for me would be whogarden ales
Nice. Hoegaarden isn't a Weizen though, its the Belgian style that is very similar called Witbier. The difference is that Witbiers have spices and a different yeast strain, whilst Weizen's are made with a German Weissbier yeast. However both styles are made with wheat. Cheers!
The best weissbier, in my opinion. Only Paulaner comes close.
@qchome Cool and np it was an awsome hefe! Prost to you too!
This is hard to watch, I want it so bad, it's delicious!! Nice review, keep it up
+Maicon Oliveira Haha it is a nice beer for sure. Thanks and cheers!
You might enjoy Ayinger Weisse also.
I reviewed that one last year I believe, and it was quite nice. Cheers!
Deeeelicious !
Indeed! :-D
To paraphrase Nathan Hale, "'I only regret, that I have but one like to give for my favorite beer review."
+Gebhard Blucher Haha thanks a bunch dude!
@yuichituba Yeah that looks awsome! Yeah i think so too, it is excellent. Cool, i will be looking for the reviews :-D
What about Franziskaner? I've liked it for years, a German friend turned me on to it. Prost indeed! I literally just tried my first Wiehenstephaner, It is most excellent, might be my favorite Wiessbier. But I think that Franziskaner is about as good. Honestly, I'm just lucky I have a beer shop nearby that I can get these types of Euro beers at.
Yeah that is a great beer too, I should review it at some point. That is awesome, its always great to have a good beer store around! Cheers!
Joe S. Franzi is world class. A bit more spicy/clovy than Weihenstephaner but is a matter of taste. What I like better is that Franzi is cheaper and readily available at 12oz. Not the 11.2 rip off. Then again is Weihenstephaner we talking about so I still spend on it o,0.
Just having a one. A perfect beer.
Glad you're enjoying it!
Never tasted this with the sauce in it, it is my favourite non alcoholic beer after erdinger
Americans beer is like water😂😂 and the bavarians beer is the best in the whole worlf
Favorite beer!!!
Glad you enjoy it, its a classic!
One of my favorite beers. I enjoy it as often as I can. For me, it smells more of bubble gum than bananas.
It is actually very bubblegum forward. Cheers!
@thunderheart226 Thanks I guess :-P Cheers!
Lemmy is a God.
I drank this beer yesterday for the first time. It was good. However,I didn't find it special more than Carlsberg beer :)
@Twinnigranrulio Nice!
