    Good tutorial for Guile beginners! For those who are interested in learning him and/or charge characters in general ; know that Guile is the quintessential charge character. When you learn Guile, you learn charges. SF6 Guile is the most accessible Guile ever made.

      @@FGCCentral Yes really. Once you get a hold of charges, SF6 Guile is very approachable for anyone and very strong. He can absolutely be a secondary, easier than he was in V, just different.

      I can't do that Guille super at all. The back forward back forward motion is basically impossible. Same for EHonda. Level 2 I wasn't able to use whatsoever.

    I should also add: you will only get the animated super (extra damage) if the flash kick hit low enough to the ground against the opponent. Sometimes the super cutscene doesn’t happen, so be sure that the opponent is ON THE GROUND when you do this!

      @@PrivateJoker0119absolutely not. It’s a big difference, at least for ken. i dont know in guiles case though. it’s like not hitting the full thing, wouldnt make much sense to make it make the same damage for guile but not for the others.

    Thank you so much, with this I can actually do it consistently finally.
    I'm on pad, and before, I tried to do Somersault into lv 3 with
    ⇙ ← ↖ + 🦶 ▶ ← → ← → + 🦶 .
    I figured that my lv 3 charge wouldn't go away if i stayed in the left quarter of the directional inputs. I would then input the lv 3 horizontally. But that's so much more precise and complicated than just moving the inputs in one diagonal line.

    Thats been the way to do it with guile since the 90s, but not everyone knows that, nice to share info with others, guile is a difficult character to grasp for most that arent used to charge characters

    the last 2 directional input doesn't actually need the down/up (because the super command is B,f~b~f+K)
    so the sequence can be done with: DB,uf+K~b~f+K
    if it makes it easier for anyone.

    This doesn't need tutorial. Standing light kick into sonic boom or flash kick is a must.

    the second motion doesn't have to be down+back>up+forward. can just be back>forward.
    so something like (charge)down+back>up+forward+kick>back>forward+kick

    I learned this in the 90s doing streetfighter ex training mode combos. Some of the combos in the sf ex series still give me nightmares.

    You can just do left right instead of second set of diagonal inputs so it’s less awkward. Notation would be [1]746K

    Could you do back and forward on the second part (instead of down-back and up-forward) and still have it come out? I'm assuming you're using the diagonals at that point just because it's easier to keep momentum with the stick rather than changing directions accurately, but I'm just curious

      Yes you can do back forward for the 2nd part. I just input ↙️↗️ cos its easier to hit the edges of the stick haha!

      @@jemangedupain. 19 is down-back to up-forward, and 46 is back to forward. So you do the flash kick from down-back to up-forward and then immediately do a sonic boom motion, and Super 3 will come out.

      ​@rysaga1 for reference fighting games use numbers for direction in notation for motions.
      Its in the same formation as a number pad.
      7 8 9 7 up back - 8 up - 9 up forward
      4 5 6 4 back 5 neutral (no input) 6 forward
      1 2 3 1 down back 2 down 3 down forward.
      So a hadoken when written would be 236 P. Hope this helps going forward!

    I guess it's nice that supers are all the same motion. Though a part of me miss the old ways just because of the challenge. I could never get the hang of upside down [e] motion. I practiced the SF4 Dee Jay's Machinegun Upper into dash Climax Beat quite frequently but could never really get it. I probably only landed it once or twice.

    To do it, you should only use 1 crouch M punch. Using 2 makes it whiff for only half the damage.

      Well if you wanna lab it, it’s around 40 frames of charge for both moves (could be 35).

    I'm almost certain you can't input the last up forward for super. Sonic boom alone requires you to do a forward motion, not down forward or up forward..

    Never played charge character before, i picked up sf6 guile and had to learn from scratch. For the fk into super cancel i do ↙️↗️k into ⬆️↖️⬅️➡️k in the same motion, its like making a half circle motion after the first k.

    Man, coming from tekken to sf with a keyboard is hard on charge characters. I often just practice precise or fast timing in tekken and UF isn't really a common input there. Let alone the charge mechanic.

    Funnily enough, I can do this with no problem. It just works for me. That said, Guile's sweep => Command Kick => Flash Kick, which by all rights should be an easier input...I can't get it. Not even once. I dunno what I'm doing wrong.

      It works after wall splat. After drive impact punish, wait until the enemy kneels down and input sweep :)

    You actually dont have to do that. This is especially complicated for hitbox players. Instead you can do these: charge 1, 9HK, 46HK OR charge 1, 8HK, 646HK. The second seems harder but i prefer it. Theres no reason to try to do this weird 19HK 19HK input on hitbox

      @@FGCCentral it would be a pointless argument considering a simple down forward motion is a simple and commonly use input compared to one that requires a charge which takes considerably more time, time that could literally cost you a match. It's unnecessary, they simply just choose to create an artificial skill gap.

    Why is his super doesn’t have a regular double QC motion like many other characters?

      Guile is a charge character so his super moves are also charge motions haha
