Hi Emily. Good content. I feel the need to mention when testing AC voltage you should always test hot to neutral for proper diagnostics. Open neutrals are a very common problem in AC wiring.

Thank you. Using your videos . I traced my AC blowing warm air down to a Freeze Sense to a CHEWED FREEZE SENSE WIRE from a mouse.
For the people wondering where this board is located. It's under the front of the AC on the roof that's entirely covered by like 8 Philip screws

Would respectfully, but strenuously, urge you to open an Amazon store, from which you would receive commissions and we, your RV viewers, would receive trustworthy information concerning reliable parts for our various systems. With so many cheapo knock-offs out there, its hard to tell on Amazon which parts are likely of OEM quality and which are likely crap. Thank you for your videos.

My Colman Mach trips my 5k watt generators 20amp breaker. Sometimes after a couple minutes, other times after an hour +. New capacitors and fan motor. What might you look for next?

I have an AC question, actually. I'm new to RVs and I have a 2023 Cirrus 620 with a Dometic AC unit. The thing (even on low) is so freaking loud that you can't have a conversation inside. I feel for people outside as well because I'm sure it can be heard like 4 sites over lol.. Is that normal for these units? It's crazy.
It's a brand new RV and I'm thinking of replacing the entire AC unit with something advertised as being quiet. Thank you so much!
RV A/C units are noisy noisy noisy! (Unless something is loose and you hear "rattling" sounds.) New units are 12 - $1600 plus about an hour's worth of labor. You may also need a new wall thermostat as well when switching to a different unit. Hope that helps.
My coleman mach 15 rv ac froze up. I thawed it out, cleaned everything, the evaporator and the coils on both sides of the unit, all the iring looks good. It cools but it blows a lot less than the bedroom ac through all the ceiling vents. Then it suddenly won't shut off when on Cool Lo/High auto. It will continuously run. It pushes cool air, but just enough to feel air coming through the ceiling vents. Whereas if I open the vents on the inside ceiling cover of the unit, where the return air and cooling air comes into the area, it blows great right there only, just not through the ceiling vents placed sporadically through the rv. Whereas again, the bedroom ac blows forcefully through the ceiling vents and the cover vents. What can I check to see why the air isn't coming through the ceiling vents? I've done the "mod" to direct the air straight through to the ceiling vents and not through the cover vents and that did not make any difference. It did make it less noisy, though. It seems like it's not getting enough return air, but I did a test and out a fan right on the return air, area and that made no difference in the way it's operating. That being, barely pushing the air through the ceiling vents and not shutting off when the thermostat eventually reaches the room temperature setting. To Summarize: 1. Fan or compressor is not shutting off even when reaches the thermostat setting. 2. Is not pushing air through ceiling vents with any sensible force, just barely a light "breathy" type blowing. (Unlike the way the bedroom ac blows like a "very windy day" will) 3. Seems to not be getting enough return air, even when I've got a fan blowing directly into the return air space. (I've cleaned everything within reach and "visually seeable" without taking the ceiling down to see if there's something blocking the vents . Could they possibly not be connected correctly?, UGGGG) Thanks in advance for any kind suggestions) side note: I've not used my multi meter to check wiring yet) I dod clean the freeze sensor and placed it back in it's spot. It was covered in muck. So before I go back and try everything with the multimeter, are there any other suggestions? Thanks again.

Where is the control box found? inside the RV or the the inside side of the unit, or outside under the roof cowling?
Testing Black (hot) to Green (ground) but not White (neutral) for power coming in?

If you remove the dust filter on the ceiling cover, you will see it up inside. The freeze sensor is also visible, higher up.
What is that short gray wire with the small connector in the AC hookup area

Is it accessible from the top as well. I went to remove it from inside and it seems to have screws from outside in addition to the 2 wing nuts on the inside. Thanks
I have a question.I thought blue was grown but for this box it looks like it's power or am I wrong ?
Where do you get the parts for your rv. I’m not talking about fuses but circuit boards or maybe igniter parts or propane valves. Please don’t say camping world or Amazon. Please help, thanks
Honestly for most lay people Amazon is going to be your quickest easiest option. You can try contacting the manufacturer directly but many of them won’t sell parts directly to consumers, you have to be a dealer or a tech.
The control box in mine is model 8430a633 and I don't have a grey wire?!
Mine was brown, not grey
