I just received both of these, blind. First reaction, I think I like le Parfum better, the zingy spiciness is really nice
Le perfume has a unique character. Elixir is just sweet and spicy like dozens of other frags on the market for instance 1 million perfume or angel's share
I own Le Parfum and love it. I tried Elixir in the store and wasn't as big on it, but that was just sprayed on a card, so who knows.
Similar experience. Le Parfum is wonderful

Hello Sandra so I know that I'm late to the party but I got Le Male Le Parfum in March for my birthday and you're right about fall and winter and even spring. You nailed it. Elixir is like a more powerful slightly darker version of the original.
I love both. I find Parfum the more gentlemanly of the two.
They are totally different enough to own both. :)

I'm a new suscriber and appreciate your insights. Women have a much more refined olfactory sense than men so this is very helpful. I have both and JPG Elixir definitely is a darker and more powerful scent at least on my skin. The Le Parfum is a refined, elegant scent that I reach for a black tie event and Elixir when going out to a more casual social event.

Thanks Sandra ! AS an older fellow I like Elixir much more than Parfum. I owned it and sold Parfum. No projection on my skin. Great info on this video !! Happy New Year❤
if u use a bit of moisturizer on ur skin before u apply le parfum and add like 2 more sprays, u can surely smell it even after 5 hours for me
of projection because longevity i get like 10 hours
elixir is definitely the better fragrance to my nose, wasn't overly fussed on the the le parfum but the elixir has quickly become my favourite from the whole le male line up

I love both of them, but i believe that elixir has that niche DNA also it`s that fragrance that you don`t wear everyday.

I love the scent of Le Parfum but found the performance seriously lacking for a parfum concentration, at least in current batches.

I prefere the Parfum: it's more sophisticated, elegant and soft. Elixir didn't impress me at all. It also bears quite a remarkable resemblance to Armani Code edp, or you could consider it as a less spicy version of Code Absolut. So yeah, not that original for me.
Le Male Parfum isn't ground breaking either, but it's one of those cases where you go "who cares, it smells so good and comforting, to hell with originality!"

I have and love both, but I'll give the elixir a slight advantage.
Le parfum has longevity issues on my skin which is a shame as its a beautiful scent.

imo, i HATE the opening on Le Parfum, maybe its because im white, but its wayyyy too spicy for me. the dry down is really good however... imo i Like ELIXIR much more because its sweeter, has that vanilla-amber-honey combination and overall longer lasting too.

my «Le male le parfum” doesn't have a good sillage because I ask people if they smell my perfume and all I hear is "no". what could be the problem?
Hm.. I’m no expert in chistry but a guess is that maybe it’s been affected by standing in the sun, a hot room os similar? That can affect the scent 🤷♀️
