- Today's haul is a conglomeration of items gathered from several estate sales, an auction, Goodwill, and the bins. I have been gathering this collection for over a week now and I have found so many awesome treasures I can't wait to share!!

I loved the old wooden stool! And the tricycle and the frog. I think the frog is my favorite! I’d put him in my garden as is. Well, I’d probably spray it with a sealer to keep it safe. But it’s so cute!
Oh! I forgot about the huge dictionary! I loved it so much! And all the books! Y’all lucked out on all this stuff!

There's a home in my town that brings out her little trike just like you found. She painted hers bright yellow and she always puts red geraniums in it. I've always thought it was beautiful.

*OMIGOSH, when I was a child I LOVED TO READ THE DICTIONARY FOR FUN, TOO‼️🙉 I would read it for HOURS. I have always loved words; we definitely have that in common❣️😉 I certainly would have purchased the DICTIONARY, given the opportunity. 👱♀️😜💜*
*Hard to pick a favorite; the ornate silver candlesticks, wire basket, white metal plant 🪴tricycle, green metal frog, 🐸 the large framed print and gold oval frame are all fabulous in my book‼️*
There seems to be a lot of people that used to "read" a dictionary. I always loved doing that. I always wanted to sound older than I was. Funny, now I want to sound younger than I am. LOL
Betting people passed on the dictionary due to the weight. But what a great find!
It was. And the cashier didn't charge by the pound thankfully. :)

Rachel: well,- you might be surprised, but that large dictionary is my favorite. I immediately saw a small pull up table to a chair for that special cup of coffee or glass of wine. I’ve make one before and it turned out great. You make a frame so the dictionary sits inside of that frame and that’s the top of the table. Of course you attach legs to that top. Chippendale square legs would look perfect with that olde dictionary. Then you put a piece of glass on top of the dictionary so you have a level surface and it will protect the top of the dictionary. I’d even see if I could grunge up the book even more to look older. That’s the designer in me! Carol from California

The dictionary is really cool. I would have bought it too. The pages are great for backgrounds with transfers and a greatvriser too.
You got so many great pieces today!!! I love the Navy teapot, the old stool, and big metal basket! I found one of those salt shakers last time I was at the bins. Wish I could’ve found the pepper. I sure tried!

Man, Rachel, what a haul!! I see why the frog is your favorite of the haul. I have a concrete frog in my garden that spits water out of his mouth. It was my husband's when he was a little boy, then we have his grandparents sitting frogs, Yep, we like the frogs. Holey moley, you got a score on that dictionary. I LOVE that big, heavy book. That baby would make an incredible spells book. You got some awesome teapots. Good snag on the Navy tea pot. Love both of the clocks. Really nice patina on the silver candle holders. They are very pretty. Anyway, hurry home and put up the hammock. Then I know that you and your wonderful husband have a place to relax. Happy 4th of July, any plans? Have an awesome couple of days and will see you on Friday!
Hey Shanna! I hope you had a lovely 4th. We really didn't do much, but we got to have our daughter and her two boys out at our house for a few hours, so that was fun! I really do love that silly frog I found, lol - and the dictionary is just awesome. It has pictures in it with tissue paper between the picture pages . . . reminds me of the huge one in the school library that stood on a pedestal stand all by itself when I was a kid. The librarian always kept an eye on us kids when we were looking through it so that we didn't break the binding or mess up the pages, lol. I loved looking through it. :) Anyway, hope you're staying cool!! :)
@@theeclecticcottagespokane I remember the dictionary on a pedestal also with the parchment/tissue paper between the pictures. I honestly wouldn't change that but I am trying to break out of my habit of leaving old things as they are. So far I am not having much success. LOL We did have a nice quiet 4th ourselves. Turns out our massive boy pup was afraid of the sound of fireworks. hehe
