I received mine a couple of days ago. Normally I take my backpack everywhere but I wanted a small sling that I could chuck the essentials in. This mini sling is my first Bellroy product and I’m very happy with it. So my essentials consist of my keys, wallet, packet of wet wipes, small FAK and my mask. It’s comfortable and the compression straps work great.
That's awesome, Jesse! We're big fans of having a smaller pack to just fit the essentials, so it's great to hear that you've found a sling that working well for this use case. Thanks for sharing your experience with us here. 🙌 - Rebecca
@@waldydelrosario3080 I doubt it. I upgraded to the Aer Day Sling 3 and it’s fantastic! Such a better designed sling. The Bellroy sling has such a limited opening and makes it hard to fit things in.
When it's packed full, I find the compression system makes it harder orient correctly, and I find myself frequently putting it on backwards. The larger back compartment desperately needs a zipper placement overhaul. I love the aesthetic, the strap thickness, and that magnetic clasp, but the compression system, the zipper placements, and the lack of organization pushed me towards the Aer Day Sling 2, and I enjoy that bag much more.
i did try many sling at shop just like MD active sling , aer cs2 ds3, BA tks , bellroy lite , venture , most of them have their own pros and con , no clear winner . but this sling mini stand out from those , the outlook is so stylish and fashionable , if you just carry some light and thin thing like kindle , memobottle a6 , passport , ultra light powerbank etc , this one should be the best and no regret , so easy to match any type of clothing no matter you wear it at front / back
It seems like it would be kind of hard to get something larger out of the sling's main compartment if it were larger, for instance a small camera / point and shoot looks like it would get caught on the zippers. Does that seem like an accurate assessment?
one thing I will never understand is why they keep making sling bags with buckles or magnetic clips. No one ever uses them, they add another bulk thing and decreases security
Hey bro, thanks for the video! Really well presented review of the bag. I was wondering what the name of those compact folded sunglasses were? As they look really cool, are they prescription lenses or standard?
I’m wondering if the magnetic buckle is easily removable, how easy would it be for a thief to simply grab the strap and the buckle easily becomes undone....bag gone!
I'm probably too late with a reply, but I just got one for myself and when you're pulling on the straps, it won't come off. It only unclasps when you twist it away from itself.
Hello thanks for the great review 😍 I'm currently using Kp sling which I love alot and I want to change to bellroy sling. Unfortunately can't determine which size to go for Can you help in this

Not sure why the shoulder strap needs to have a break point in it, seems pointless and adds cost. Also it would be very easy to make an extension cord for the keys

Do you guys have tips on any other brands like Bellroy? I love their extremely thin wallets (had one for 7 years and works like a charm, not even a hint of some structural weakness) and I think I will buy this bag too, I would like to look at some other very functional & stylish brands. It is rare that form works well with function.
I don’t know if you’ve found this out by now or not, but my Pro Max doesn’t fit in the front pocket. I’ve started putting it in the “sun glass” section and leave that zipper open. I’ve found that it keeps my phone handy and the soft material doesn’t scratch the screen.

@@jesseallen4184 Do you think a 7-inch tablet can fit inside of this bag?

Do you think this could fit an iPad mini? Great video!
Do you think a small handgun would fit in here?
It has a magnetic clasp. Someone runs up, yanks the bag and the clasp opens. They now have your gun and your bag. Not the best idea.
The magnetic buckle seems like a weak point. How easy would it be to just rip it off, or for it to become undone accidentally while cycling?
Mark./Hani - it's harder to pull off than you'd think by looking at it, though I personally prefer a traditional, plastic buckle.

Love my Bellroy sling mini and my Bellroy sling mini lite both worth the price ❤
Thanks for watching! 😃

I have read comments about the outer material being rough to the point of damaging the fabric of your sweater etc. Any comments on that?

I was thinking the same.
Access seems pretty poor...?
I am thinking between the two sizes which one is the better one to chose, regular or mini .
Is this color discontinued?
How strong is the magnet? Can someone pull this off of you?

Hello. Can this fit a DSLR?
I wish they made a mini sling that did NOT have a clip on that. Never forget that Clip = lift. If it has a clip, it is NOT theft proof.
What kind of sunglasses are those?

could you use this as a fanny pack?
Great, objective review. I hope they consider a leather free edition.
They have a leather free option. It’s a choice within color options.
Works better backwards.
