Two cars are sometimes used. But that's all. One of the SEPTA lines, however, always runs with a single Silverliner V. Eventually the Arrow IIIs will be replaced with MultiLevel EMUs.
I never really considered how cool it is that NJT is still running the same (type of) train on that line as I rode as a kid growing up in Princeton. As so much of the town has changed-including the location of the Dinky station, in 2014-that part has remained just as I left it.
It seems to me that NJT should have spent some more money and renovated the Princeton Junction rail_head as well. I think that it would be a good idea if the curved platform were disposed of and Princeton Junction was modernized. With a single train and a single track I would guess that the Dinky runs only once every hour.

I think they would be better off using Hyundai Rotem Silverliner V railcars

The Princeton station is not the original one. It was near Alexander Road and was replaced by this one in 2014.

It departs Princeton Junction whenever a Trenton Bound train arrives for a connection and same going the other way when arriving.
