This is the best Steel VST ever. Sounds great. I had a friend at 45 thought he would take on steel. In about a year he was playing out live. As we all know the are not east to pick up and just play. He was lucky and hooked up with a old timer that helped him learn. I kid you not he sat with this thing every free moment he had. His wide about killed him. lol. Thanks for posting this gonna go pick it up ASAP... sorry for my spelling.. Be Safe.
"I always wanted a pedal steel guitar.." that was always my dream too when i was young. Not in a country style playing way but more like in pop, Jeff Baxter was my hero back then, with his magical playing on the earlier Steely Dan albums. But the future had other plans so i became an more ordinary guitar player. But yesterday i stumbled upon Ink Steel wich was on a discount and fell in love. I cannot read chords, notes or score but im am sure i will find my way with this fantastic plugin. Started to learn about diatonic chords etc. This is fun! Thanks for sharing!
If you're looking for Folk sample libraries, check out Hunter Rogerson's Hearth & Hollow. Jon Meyer made a great video highlighting it. I scripted the instrument while Hunter provided the samples and vision. It's a pretty crazy instrument that emulates 7 musicians performing in the same room.
Yeah I got it, it's a great library! If Jon hadn't made such a fantastic review of it already I'd have featured it on my channel for sure. I even wrote a product demo for it on the pianobook playlist!
Excellent video! I am very impressed with your talent and the way you approach the subject. I'm going to try Ink Steel too! Thank you very much for the inspiration!
I got Ink Steel, which I really LOVE!!! Brilliant work for such a brief process. I have a couple of the Ink Audio libraries and thought that the Toolkit was a combo of all the others, but now realize that I was incorrect in that assumption. Thanks again for this video! You've inspired me to create again.
It would be nice a video talking about how you can produce in so many different styles without feeling lost in the process. I feel like I can't finish or even start a track if I'm not following a tutorial or using a reference.
Umm nah, sorry bro 😄 I do plenty of affiliate vids and always disclose when anything is sponsored (It’s actually a legal obligation). This video ain’t one of em. I don’t necessarily blame you for being cynical, but there is some sincere folks out here believe it or not.
Hey Stevie, I was hoping to get your thoughts on MDIIO? I've just signed up and they have some higher budget projects on there compared to stock music libraries, so I was wondering if you had any experience on the platform or thoughts? Thanks so much and keep on making these incredible videos 🤍

Haha that’s awesome, I’d love to join a country band and play one live some day!

dude, you have charisma. For me you and dave kropf are the best on our niche right now. Thanks a lot
I'm a sucker for the steel sound. Fantastic! Thanks, brother.
This sound so sweet. Very nice, Steve. I think I'm headed to Ink Audio (lol)
Great video! I really enjoyed this one and would love to see more like it 👍
Very cool sound!! Thanks for sharing Steve.
Great steel guitar sounds and composition Stevie!
Great video Steve. I’ve benefited massively from this product!
Absolutely sweet liberties. Thanks for sharing. 🙏🏻
Lovely video and tune. Thank you

Great video Steven. I'm downloading Ink Steel right now!
Yep…buying this immediately.
Just WOWW.. Killer sound killer bass. 😎😎💯💯 Forget buying a brand-new Rickenbacker, just go with the Ink steel.😁😁

Thanks for watching 🙏

Great to hear that Jim! Thanks for watching
thank you great video and tune that you created
Monitor name please 🥺
Thanks for sharing !
Ah this is what I was looking for
More composing/production videos please I would love to hear what you end up submitting to pond five etc.

Ohhhh. That's nice
Thank you, I've been looking for a Pedal Steel, a good banjo would be cool too.
Awesome!
I bought The Steel some time ago and while it’s good I found it very hard to play. Ink Steel looks easier!
Thanks for the video!
I’m impressed it’s that’s good
Great track, Stevie! Will you be expanding it and uploading it to a music library?
Thanks Mary! That’s the plan, I’ve got a few of these tracks that are nearly ready to upload
@@Steven_Beddall Cool! Sending it to MA or somewhere else?
Do you have to have the paid version of Kontakt for this to work?
How do you modulate the steel without a mini keyboard? Can that be automated on any DAW?
in your automation view, just use the pitch wheel data 😀
@@Steven_Beddall Thank you!
@@byelilyofficial or the Mod wheel data, for the Ink Steel I think
hi Steven ,can I ask you what studio monitors are these ?
Yamaha MSP5's
@@Steven_Beddall oh ok thanks ! just looking for some good studio monitors so was asking , cheers!
Btw you just made a cover version of The Verve “On Your Own”.
Thanks! What was the first guitar? So warm sound...
Thanks! That’s also an Epiphone, smaller parlour style body tho
Stevie B, how do you approach working with vocalists? Do you pay them for work or you give them percentage of the final recording?
I pay them for work
@@Steven_Beddall what is a standard rate for vocalists nowdays?
Are samples royalty free,m?
👍👍👍cool
I like the sounds, but sadly it’s for full Kontakt only.🤷🏻♂️
We’re not stupid bro… You are obviously on the take no Matter how sincere you say it’s not a sponsored video…

@@Steven_Beddall lol, it was humorous. You basically sold it to me is what i was saying…
Not my style but such an enjoyable video Im tempted to get that steel, and run it through my S-4 for some Ambient vibe
Nice!!
