what about wall joins? non rectangular walls (with edited profile)? non rectangular openings? actual projects are not made from standalone walls. I don't wanna be rude, but beyond "showing off" (what is our industry is mostly about these days) this doesn't really add much value. Thanks for the effort, and providing it for free, though. PS ok, so there is a proposed next phase, (should have watched the whole before commenting,) but still, most of my concerns is still valid, looking forward for the addin ;)
As mentioned during the session, users looking for full wood framing Revit applications should check out AGACAD or MWF. The panelized workflow is more of a "proof of concept", where we wanted to showcase what's possible with Revit nested families and Dynamo. With that said, the "simplified" opening framing is quite complete and could be used as is by architects and designers to frame their openings. Indeed, the next steps are going to be covered by the add-in, but we thought that this was advanced enough that users might find it helpful. Since it's all open-source with Dynamo and Python, users can easily adapt it to their needs.
This is great. Thanks to the Quebec Wood Export Bureau. Well done!
wow! awsome! thanks guys for you great job! will be super useful!
Beautiful work 👍
Looks cool.
I have now tried both plugins in revit, both in new projects and in the sample project. but cant get the script to work.
We're about to release a fix. But meanwhile, you can open Dynamo and install the IronPython package to make it work.
@@bimpure Oh yes, that did it. Complete stranger to dynamo so was a bit lost!
Cool Worklfow, is the Dynamoskript also in the Template package or where i can find it? :)
In the download page, you must download both the Revit file and the Dynamo script.
Thanks for the video!
How do you color tabs in Revit? I use plugin ModPlus for this but I don't see it on your Revit
pyRevit colored tabs :)
Can't install it... Does it work with Revit 2025?
It can't be "installed", as it is a Dynamo script.

@bimpure I think there is also a need for something in-between
