True. I found out it falls down to that stuff where a service tries to make another obsolete. Framer tries to make the gap between a web design and the live website narrower so some features from figma are made redundant. But figma is still a good place to start as it's more flexible because framer's editing is very much based on html, css and javascript attributes to make launching straight forward
This was awesome I was looking for someown who can share such video thank you brother bring such full website tuts from figma to framer...you're awesome brother.
I am setting autolayout and using constraints, it is responsive in figma but when I paste in Framer it still is not responsive. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? It's my first time trying it out!@@ProductSensei77
Cool, thanks! Could you also explain how to distribute variables across multiple files? I know that for styles it was very easy, just go to Libraries and switch it on. But I still didn’t find a way to do this with variables
Hey! Using variables across files in Figma is still not feasible. This is what they say "As a workaround, either recreate the variables in the destination file, or duplicate the original file."
And where is the point where you actually make a real website as stated in the description? This is just another prototype.
Is there a way to link a different page through the button
Why use figma at all then? Genuine question.

Hi....awesome video
Quick question.
Lets say I created components in figma will they work in framer too?
Great VIDEO!!! Framer is very powerful
Is there a way to publish the website live through Figma instead of using this process?
What an amazing diamond I’ve just watched

When I paste into framer it is not automatically responsive, is that something that needs to be set in figma before pasting?
Yes, you need to set your auto layouts and constraints in Figma first.
