Old Delhi’s Bakrid goats are living king-size in UP--Morning gargle, sprinklers, big meals

The arrival of 124 goats, procured by Jains of Chandni Chowk posing as Muslims and "rescued" ahead of Bakrid last month, has increased the workload at Uttar Pradesh’s Bakrashala. At this goat shelter in Baghpat’s Aminagar Sarai, the goats are having the best time of their lives, enjoying morning showers, walks, evening snacks, and regular health check-ups. अगर तुम इतने बड़े दयावान हो तो वहां पर एक चिकनशाला, और एक मछलीशाला भी खोल लो। वो बेचारे जीव भी लाखों की तादाद में रोज मारे जाते हैं। थोड़ी दया उन पर भी दिखाओ। तुम्हारी दया सिर्फ़ बकरीद के दिन कटने वाले बकरों पर ही क्यों जाग जाती है....? दुर्गा पूजा में मंदिरों में लाखों बकरे और भैंसों की बलि चढ़ाई जाती है उस दिन तुम्हारी दया.....?
