No. Accountability falls on each and every person including artists as entertainers and influencers. Each time they open their mouths to sing they should ask, "does this music align with and promote the well-being of black people and the continent"? I LOVE Alade but this track put me off instantly.
You have a point but It's not the song that will make them richer, it's their mindset. I'm not saying all white men are saint, but I'll say they treat each other better in some way. With what I had seen in this country Nigeria; " most people allow greed to overtake their principles" and do not love themselves enough (you can't give what you do not have) i don't know about other countries in Africa. We as citizen of this country called Nigeria need to change how we think, treat each other. Other artists that had released songs about money ego, kudi and Naira.; still do not change anything. Yemi Alade pounds and dollars will not do the change we all pray for.

Small, positive things everyone does everyday does creates long-termimpact. She's Afrikan. Afrika stands tall on her logo in the pic. She should champion and represent our people. She aint just an entertainer she's an influnlencer and celeb. Telling people about $£ creates demand for those currencies and devalues our own.
