In this reaction genre...your content is top shelf. Visual quality, commentary, insight...really good work.
Even better, a Mormont shield. Mormonts, loyal to the end!
Yeah, i love that the crazy little bitch really saved Jons arse just be being there.
Who's name is Lyanna...... ;)
it's a mormont shield (there is a bear logo on there), but still awesome
“Each warrior in the bear island fights with the strength of 10 southerners”. They were just 60. It’s actually more epic hahaha

Battle of the Bastards was one of the best episodes i've seen from this show. Yet people mock it like the trolls they are. If your not a fan then don't watch.
When I first watched this episode, I thought it was the best thing ever. After a few months, I was less enthusiastic about it because of poor decision-making by Jon; however, then I watched the DVD/Blu-Ray commentary with Kit, Sophie, and Miguel. Their take on what they were trying to accomplish brought me back to the fold because they executed their goal so damn well.
So my recommendation to anyone who is in doubt of this episode: watch the commentary video of this battle sequence - you'll never be more sold on something in your life.
my only real issue with it is the huge mound of bodies that was created through the battle. There is no reason why- both in terms of the numbers fighting, and the amount of space there was- for such a pile up to occur.
...Still, regardless of that, it's one of my favourite battles ever on screen and fight choreography was awesome. Brilliant episode
"Oh she is so hot, omg." I couldn't agree more SiTHFuRioN, she's a goddess!
Probably the best reaction visual I've seen.
Its good but i recommend hogwarts reacts and the underdog mr williams
that actually was the shield of House Mormont...
yeah I realize that while editing lol.. I just sore a wolf and thought Stark lol to wrapped up in the moment lol
Your reactions are always exceptional, thank you for taking the time and sharing them!
Ehhhh, it beats the time someone mistook the bear for the Lannister lion (to be fair the pose is quite similar in the show continuity) and had some really strange ideas about WTF Davos was doing with the Lannisters.
This episode was a masterpiece and milestone in TV history.
The director of this episode also did "Hardhome".
All the giants looked like Liam Neeson on steroids 😂 Every single one. Lol
You deserve more views/subs. Such a genuine reaction from a true fan.
People are upset at Sansa for hiding crucial information but it is also pretty obivous that Jon made a pretty big tactical mistake in this battle. Ramsey was able to bait Jon into attacking by using Rickon as a bait. It is not usually a good choiche for a smaller force to attack. Withouth knights of the Vale Jon would have lost this battle.
True he was baited, but how could he not try and save his little brother by meeting him halfway. There was no way he wasn't gonna try. Ramsey being a master archer made sure he died right in front of Jon. All Jon wanted then was Ramsey...so he was gonna die trying to avenge his death.
She was wrong for hiding it from him since the beginning and Brienne was right when she stood up to her about it but she decided to keep it a secret and risked so many people's lives including John's life. They probably would not have attacked in the same circumstances if they knew and would have waited. That's why people are upset. I think it just helped create some amazing cinematography and i personally felt like "man how the fuck is John, Tormund and the whole crew feeling seeing all those people coming to their rescue?"
Also ramsay's face of "The fuck ? how ? why?" made it for me hahaha
It was just too sad that letting his emotions get the better of him changed his battle plan. Jon is the leader of thousands of men and in the war council they wanted to prevent so many deaths because they were already at a disadvantage. Jon threw away all strategy and led the way to putting his men in the worst possible position... and the worst possible position for Jon to avenge Rickon's death. =( I feel for Jon, but I also felt bad for Tormund because he only had 2000 fighting men out of the Wildlings and the Morments had 62.... I kind of don't want to hear how many are left out of them now... =/
Lady_Alpha Well to be fair, John was using a Mormont shield at the end before he beat Ramsay's up to a pulp so at least one of them made it to the end!
Can we just talk about the fact that
1: Jon actually did the 1-on-1 at the end - he could have just told his soldiers to fire, but he did the 1-on-1
2: Jon straight up just walked up to Ramsey and beat the shit out if him
I love it when you fanboy over Daenerys
Best episode I've ever witnessed on TV.
You sound like you got food in your mouth and you're trying to talk, such a beautiful accent!
It infuriates me that after all the nasty things Ramsay has done, they wouldn't show him being ripped to pieces.
just a note on the Stark banner i thought was cool-- the reason the sigil used to be set against a black background but now appears on a white one is due to the Westeros custom that bastards reverse the colors of their house on their banners. also, works well with Jon Snowwwww
Wish they would write more badass scenes for Greyworm, like in the books. He handled the slit throats x2, very well.
No doubt greyworm is a beast
u really should introduce some of your friends to GoT from Season 1 to take us to Seson 7! How about it, Man?!
Great reaction Sithfurion! Okay this director Miguel Sapochnik needs to direct every episode of Game of thrones from now on, this episode was fucking epic from start to finish props to the whole team who worked on this episode. It will definitely win the emmy for Best direction!
Gonna start another binge on your reactions. You are one of the smartest reactors I've seen I think I've said that but you pick up on things so quickly. I'm glad I discovered you while a bunch of stuff has already been posted bought to watch a bunch before God of War on Friday. Btw if you see this what is your accent? It's really unique and cool
I knew as soon as I watched the episode, how much you would love that battle scene :) if the end up inventing virtual reality, surround 3D way to watch tv, it would be incredible to rewatch that episode. And hard home too :)
First time here - really like your reactions format. Will watch more of your stuff. :)
Ive been waiting for your reaction all day,I love them, keep up the good work :)
Like these got reaction vids of yours man, you seem like you're really into the show and your reactions seem genuine unlike most reaction vids
Great reaction video.
I would've loved to see your reaction for the Dany and Yara scene tho haha
This was the best episode. The filming, editing and cgi in this one episode is outstanding.
Hell yeah a little bit of a smile.
I'd say she's earned it.
he gave the game away ,with it don't matter how many times you see it ,yet he is guesting at the beginning.
Always look forward to your reactions man!! love this show and this episode was EPIC!!! xx
Seriously i agree one of the best episodes, jon beating up ramsay and then Sansa making his hounds eat him, god i was soo happy!
Agreed the editing is amazing 😍sith👊👍👍👍👍👍I feel like I'm watching it with U like I'm right there
The reaction I been waiting for!
Thrones is untouchable.
Even you said just zig zag that shit 😂
This is my favorite episode and I've seen several reactions. You're the first to mention the point that tossing out a lowborn backfired. Grey worm is the executioner, a highborn looking down on a lowborn to a former slave. Hope you planned your funerals.
Daenerys is SOOO HOT!!, in tv show and real life too!
Bro, this episode was epic... there are maybe a few episodes from the previous seasons that come as close but nothing like this... my reactions when I watch ot were the same as yours.Best episode ever.I waited entire season to see that stuff and it paid of finally.Sad really because because the price for regaining Winterell was paid with another Stark off the table. Now there are just 5 of the entire house left (Benjen beyond the Wall, Sansa, Arya, Jon and Bran) and that's it.Anyone of them gone would be a tragic, but I rather think that no more Starks will die any sooner. They have become just like unique.Arya is an faceless assasin, Sansa is now power playing mind games, Jon is a warrior, Bran is a fucking magician and only Benjen is in a direct exposure but he showed that he is a tough stone to crack. So perhaps there won't be any Stark losses... I think that they have managed to transform into a tough heroes so the more you are thining them the harder it gets to kill someone else of them, as they are transforming and "upgrading" as the show develops.Let me know what you think about that. And ofcourse a new political power struggle starts to take shape as the herd is getting thinned.Denerys from the South vs the newly reformed North which will probably consolidate around Jon, Sansa and the other Starks that are still on the table plus the Lannisters on the middle presented by Cersei, Jamie and some other houses still loyal to them.Let me know if you agree.
Very good work! your reactions are so cool and you're cute hahaha
I am very much looking forward to seeing the Stark Sigil on Winterfell during the opening credits for episode 10.
that was the best war sequence i have seen! it felt real, not like people standing in the back or just moving to add something to the background, also! Davos found out Shireen was burned? what do you think of that?
Loved ur reaction mate subbed cheers!!
FUCK...SHIT...FUCK....FUCK!!!
you're awesome, haha
Great episode! Wish Sansa hadn't kept Littlefinger a secret from Jon, you know he is gonna want something for doing this. He doesn't do anything that doesn't benefit himself. Hope she sticks to her guns about not needing him anymore. Jon will always have her back. I'm guessing we will see wildfire for the finale. Since Cersea doesn't have her Mountain any more maybe she will cause a Big Bang!!! Or maybe Arya killing Frey.....that too would be a great ending to the season.....Nice reaction btw...😊. Until next week.......
Amazing reaction yes!!!
That was actually a mormont shield jon was holding
Great reaction!
Meh mehe mehe mememeemmehehjhheheh .. best battle eveer..yes!!!
oh...thank god!!
Where's the video for the finale?!?
its rendering right now..
+SiTHFuRioN HUZZAH!! I CANT WAIT TO SEE IT!!!
👍best episode
I am really hoping (and predicting) that the final scene in episode 10 will be Arya reuniting with John and Sansa at Winterfell :)
yeah would be cool, but that's to much ground for her to travel in one episode... Next season... Next season we'll see it..
I love your reaction! Great episode is not it?^^
It´s not clear to me: Then the Mormont house fought too??? (I haven´t seen the full episode)
Best show ever!!!
you know you can use stills and clips right, hence make longer reaction videos....just a tip
ask this dude -The1stTake how he does it, he reacts to the entire episode, his vids are over 1 hour long
Nope...Mormont/Bear Island sheild. Mormont's always protecting Stark's.
Is it episode nines, or episodes nine?
only thing I didn't like about episode 9 was how easy Ramsey went down... we've seen he's a good fighter from when Yara went to recover Theon. I wanted an epic 1vs1 at the end
Went down from what? Jon hit him in the throat with a shield. No one is taking that hit
5:28 - "That's what you get for being a BITCH!" :-D
Hey SithFurion. I wanna know. did u hate rickon like everyone else? I honestly didnt mind him. Everyone said he was a useless sack of shit but he was like 11 and no one gave him a fair chance. So I actually hated when he died cos he had the potential to become like Eddard
I'd weigh in re: compare/contrast from the books, but we're far enough from the books that I'm not sure how applicable it is... mention it anyway?
He became like Eddard all right. Deaddard.
Jon Snow might be an honourable man and a motivator to his men but heck, he´s a lousy tactician.. He and/or Sansa will deffo need coldhearted calculating guys like Littlefinger around I fear...
How did Sansa know he hadn't fed his dogs for 7 days? She had rode off before he said it so wasn't there to hear it.
I guess Jon or someone else must of told her...
No Sansa was with Jon when Ramsey told them about his dogs
She rode away before that part was mentioned. I was curious about it myself, so I rewatched the scene. Doesn't matter, it was sweet justice. Just a small inconsistency.
If the Blackfish can die off-screen, I'm sure someone could make a comment about the dogs also off-screen. Or are we to think the characters never take a shit 'cause we never (or rarely) see it?
+Mercboy 205 the only one who takes shits in Westeros is/was Tywin Lannister.
The only show in my opinion that can box with g.o.T is walking dead in terms of acting perfomaces and at times twist as far as overall not many show can hold up with game of thrones
The shield. Best show in TV history. True Detective season 1. And GOT. Those 3 are the best I've seen
did the show just fuck up and forget that the other two dragons are supposed to be yellow and green? They might have been, but to me they looked just like Drogon.
They're not exactly close-up I suppose, but my vague recollection is that in the show continuity their skin darkened as the seasons went on (Rhaegal's green remaining most pronounced).
No they don't. :/ You're either not trained in art, are colour blind, or need to fix the colours on whatever you're watching it on. What they did fuck up was the fire. Drogon's fire is supposed to be black.
OUCH...HAAHHAHAHAA
I think daenarys has 3 dragons because ones going to be for Jon and the other for tyrion
knowing game of thrones, i wouldnt be surprised if they killed 2 of the dragons
😬
I saw Mormont shield, no Stark
yeah I know, I was to wrapped up in the scene and I sure a Wolf and thought Stark lol
fuck yes Jon Snow
the fact snow got hit by no arrows was kinda ridiculous. Also that horse charge in slow mo shoulda been a more wide shot but generally a great ep.
If you watch it again, it's almost as if there's something kinda protecting Jon, he got so lucky so many times in that battle.. Them arrows is a perfect example.. Would be kinda cool tho, when Melisandre brought him back, if something else came back too... & Now it's linked to Jon...
yeah a load bunch of Arrows missed him by an inch not once or twice but three times! i think the Lord of light is involved with that
Exactly
SiTHFuRioN
Never thought about that man. Maybe thats it but I guess we will see how it will play out
Jon`s got that plot armor.
Sponsor jon snow home mormon ....Swords and shields
SiTHFuRioN7, I really like your comments and reviews and I enjoy watching your videos ( still do ) and up until this episode I saw eye to eye with the majority of your opinions and thoughts but I strongly disagree with you on this one. If we put aside the really epic scenes and music this episode had no meaning whatsoever and is by far the weakest of them all. Just when I started to like her, the character development of Sansa went down the drain in the last 2 episodes. She makes so naive and childish decisions. The only thing I really liked about her is that she said that Rickon was dead no matter what they do. Everything else she said and did was simply moronic and plain stupid. Jon asked her point blank where are they going to get a bigger army and she simply watched in silence. Because of her Littlefinger is the only one with an army now, and Jon, Sansa and the whole North are in his pocket just because Sansa could not say: "Hey, I sent Littlefinger a raven and he might bring the Army of the Vale on our side". I realize they are trying to make her look smart and mature.. but they clearly do not have the intellectual capacity to achieve it. Also.. they completely switched the personalities of Jon and Ramsay for this episode. Ramsay is the one who is reckless, impulsive and aggressive. Jon is the shy, reserved and smart one. They only did that so that the battle would go Ramsay's way ( as if he hadn't had enough of an advantage to begin with...) because then they would have that CHEESY Hollywood/Lord of the Rings moment with the Vale army at the end. I agree that Ramsay is much smarter than he lets on but he is NO WHERE as near as smart as they portrayed him to be in this episode. And Rickon... Everybody new he was going to die but the writers are simply morons. No one can hit anyone from that far.. ( assuming he was even in range ) And why didn't Ramsay shoot Jon instead of Rickon or have his archers rain arrows on them both? Or all the other times in witch he could have shot Jon but didn't O.o It would have made so much more sense to have had Rickon flayed and on one of the crosses ( That is so much more like the real Ramsay and is still pretty damaging to the morale of the other army and Jon in particular ) Instead he let him go? O_o I wont even start on the unbelievable and just silly ways in which characters are covering a given distance for a given time and not to mention that Vale Army going around the north undetected by any scouts as if it were 4-5 people. This used to be the best show ever. Among many other things, the things that made it great and separated it from all the rest was the Realism, Unpredictability and multiple Extremely Deep and Meaningful plot lines. All of those things are gone and now it is a shadow of what it used to be. The only thing keeping it going is the momentum it gained when it was the best and the loyalty of the fans that is diminishing by the day. The sad truth is that slowly but surely Game of Thrones is becoming an unbearable crap to watch ( for me personally Daenerys and the dragons are the only thing that looks good currently but even that storyline is complete bullshit in terms of meaning). This show used to stand out from all the other TV shows in history and now it is just another Generic Hollywood show with an above average budget and bellow average plot and storyline.
Once the excitement of the epic scenes and music passes how would you rate this episode story wise leading up this moment and moving towards the series wrap up in 1-2 years?
P.S. Littlefinger: "Sansa, look to my coming at first light on the fifth day. At dawn look to the east..." :D :D :D
you're kinda late with this bro lol
First.
The pacific was a better tv show than this imo
Damn you say Fuck a lot 😂😂😂
