Pretty sure Laeg is ginger in Wooing of Emer? As for Cú Chulain, still can't get over his three-colored hair in Táin, so that's forever canon for me.
(Also, now I've seen both Láeg and Laég, what is happening there?)

Moving the fada to the e isn't a spelling I'm familiar with, but I've also seen his name spelled Lóeg, Lóig, Laogh, and Laoi... so really, any approximation of vowels seems to be fine.
Interesting re: TE! I keep meaning to go through and collect all info we're given about Láeg in any text he appears in and put it all in one document, because so much of it is weird and vaguely contradictory and I want to amalgamate it. Just haven't had a chance to start yet.
Ah yes, Cú Chulainn, the original anime protagonist with his spiky multicoloured hair.

@@FinnLongman maybe share the doc, when it's ready or even make a video? I also like Láeg, so I think that might be interesting.

@@marichka-mulligan Yeah, I'll try and make it available if and when it every happens. It'll be a major task (not least because CODECS doesn't have a list of Láeg's major textual appearances, though it does for some other characters, so I have to start from scratch with regard to knowing where to look and there are always more texts to consider). I'm working on a project with the Stowe manuscript of the Táin at the moment, but if/when that's ever done, the Láeg project is the next thing on my academic list.
