Wonder is Charlie is left handed. Many of us don't have an issue switching to do things with our right hand because some things are only designed to work for righties. Can't do things as well as my left hand, but some things I only do right handed.

If marge had been bred again there would be a massive risk of hernias, where the fascia would possibly give way. Thus, she was retired. So what is in there? Her guts. Normally they're under pressure to help move food around, and with her abdomen stretched out, they fill up that space.
Margie is my favorite! Though, I would love to see her shaved into a poodle. I mean, if Marge is funny, imagine how funny it would be to have Poodle Marge!
Do the sheep sometimes get nicked while they’re being shorn? I know that you have lots of practice doing it, but I was helping a friend with their couple of sheep, and they got nicked a couple of times, but I don’t think it was anything so bad
So, I had only seen Charlie shear sheep. Then I got to reading about how some shearers are completely brutal! Slicing off ears and teats while shearing! Sheep, especially sheep like Marg, have extra skin that you have to be extra careful with when shearing. With Sandi's sheep, we rarely have heard about or seen nicks. Then I saw what other herds looked like after shearing - it looked like a bloodbath! All of that white, white skin with huge splashes of bright red blood showing up after the shearing. It was aweful. And so shocking! Sandi has shown us the correct, humane way to take care of sheep. Since I know it can be done and still make a profit, why can't others also do it that way?
I've just gotten in to goats, and all the prego issues and all. But, is it a thing with sheep that they stay seriously wide and prego looking even when they're not pregnant? If so, what do you look for to see if they're actually pregnant?
No, most of the times it doesn’t… but sometimes, even in goats and human women, especially when they give birth to more than one baby (sometimes even after one baby) it happens that the skin is stretched to much, women get those stripes because the skin isn’t that elastic. Marge had several huge lambs, that’s why she is retired now.

Stop writing uneducated and ignorant comments. Do some research first. And no, sheep don’t get cold after being sheered, this is not torture nor does it hurt them. They are actually glad to get rid of that wool. Charlie did a great job, fast and without causing any unnecessary stress.
