Warhammer 40k: Chaos Gate Daemonhunters - Part 1 (Ruthless Difficulty) (No Commentary)

- In this brand new series we take a look at the recently released Chaos Gate Daemon Hunters game. In this game we play as the secret order of the Grey Knights in a turn based strategy game which has us pitted against the vile forces of Nurgle. In this first episode we are just running through the mechanics of the game and get introduced to the main characters that set up the story plot. I think playing on Ruthless will be the better way to play as it will challenge us to learn quickly and make the battles a little more interesting.

Same ever since I was young blood ravens have been a favourite, dow 1 and 2 were amazing.
@@HopliteYT The in game animation and graphics are amazing! You dont even need a fancy rtx card to run this. I love the close up animations when a space marine fires on a target..

I'd really like to see them do something different, like a Baldur's Gate, or Skyrim kinda thing set in the WH40k universe. I would gladly fork over my money for that, and I'm certain many others would too. Just stop making Strategy titles. It's been done to death now.

The recent game Rogue Trader is very close to Baldurs Gate.

what am i seeing? This goes against the lore for one grey knights should be impervious to cultists weapons but yes the demons should be able to give them a fight. why are they so weak

I had to refund this game. The Saturday morning cartoon style really took me out of the setting and atmosphere. Among the many other issues.
I get it. I think a lot of gaming companies are realising they can cut costs on graphics and still sell games because of games like fortnite.
I hope they don't do it for Space Marine 2.
