    Hello, I have an induction welding machine but I'm new soldering. I have a shaft and a cylinder. I want to solder them. Both are the same material. Is there any technique or process to do it? I tried to solder them metal to metal but it doesn´t work too well...

    Help me out here. I thought induction could only affect ferrous metals. Is this working because the steel is heating up the brass? Will your induction welder heat up the brass by itself? Correct me here but brass is roughly 85% copper (non ferrous) and 15% zinc (non ferrous)

      Yes Induction will heat non-ferrous metals such as brass, copper and aluminum in what we call joule heating. Of course these are not as efficient as heating high carbon materials, but they do heat quite well and effectively

    what kind of black liquid and what kind of silver blue rod?

      J Summit Solida The Black liquid is a Brazing Flux used for brazing steel to brass, the blue coating on the brazing is a flux as well, but not sure of the properties of the flux, as it was supplied by our customer.

    Can I use that copper tube coil in my inverter welding machine? Will it become an induction heater for smelting? Comments please...

      RINARD SILVOSA most induction furnace/welders use copper tubing that are filled with recirculated water for cooling.

    Will an induction coil still melt metal in a vacuum environment?

    • @rdoinduction
      @rdoinduction  4 роки тому +1

      yes it will - typically the power supply is outside of the vacuum environment and the coil is installed within the vacuum chamber via a feed-thru
