But there is no way to be certain (Except that Microsoft is thinking about making profit, so depending on how popular and how many sales halo 3will get, they might make a 4th game.)

There was actually several rounds of spartan projects, with Master Chief coming from the most successful. He is Spartan-117 "John". With the style of the armor I would have to say Halo Wars is before/during the events of Halo 1, but I don't know that there were ever that many spartans.
@1000123blair actually omega was the third batch of spartan IIIs it consists of 300+ spartans, all of alpha company were killed and only two from beta survived. both being sent on suicide missons
I like the way the transitions from the first half to the wars trailer went.. however i think you should have left the 'logos'out.. however, the video was very good. :)
Halo 3 is the most amazing game I have evr played, and I wasn't w fan of the halo 2 plot, but it was solid gaming. Halo 1 was amazing, and I am so happy they brought back the assault rifle. Halo wars looks amazing, because i haven't played it yet. I have beaten every game on legendary too.
