If you want to build walls, upgrade it to level 3 in one go. If you don't have the resources to do it then don't build walls
If you're thinking if it will help restrict the raiders then no, raiders can easily break those traps

@@glitchtale. First and foremost, raiding system starts after you reach level 150. You won't get raided if you don't raid other bases after reaching level 150. If you raid a base there is a probability that your base will get raided within 24hrs. If you want to start raiding then atleast build a couple of rooms with level 3 walls (stone walls)
Then put some bait chests out of those rooms. Craft some Spears and put them in the bait chests so the raiders will fill their inventory with those spears and leave your base
But be careful raiders can break level 3 walls
The only walls that are unbreakable are level 4 walls (steel walls). If you want total protection from the raiders upgrade your walls to level 4 and then start raiding
Also after you finish raiding a base make sure to give the raiders their share, 1-3 spears are enough to satisfy them

my worry with sorting my chests is when an intruder destroys them then they can get my stuff in large numbers so i prefer scattering them

BRO I LITERALLY SURROUNDED MY WHOLE BASE WITH LVL1 WALLS
I have already constructed the walls, should o destroy one of them to keep my base open and the hordes doesn’t attack ? Also do I loose all my item if I get attacked by a horde?
Keep the walls
The horde can only destroy level 1 and level 2 walls not level 3+ walls
The horde can't destroy anything else so your chests are safe
Don't build walls until you want to raid (level 150+). NPC bases that shown on the map is harmless and can be looted with ease and no retaliation raids. Once you reach level 150 raiders will contact you and offer tasks for you to do and get an AI base location to raid. That's when you should upgrade all your walls to at least level 3 (can do so earlier to make space for other stuff). But when you aren't ready to upgrade your walls to level 3 at once, don't build any walls. Only upgrade floors (for workbenches and plan out how your walls will be positioned for maximum efficiency. For example floors on the edges of your bases will be upgraded to level 3 for level 3 walls covering your base afterwards). For now focus on chopper, then acid bath, port sewer & boat. Once you've done all these big objectives aim for Bunker Bravo. It's extremely hard so don't build a generator for it. Use your first one for North Watchtower and second for port sewer

I'm lvl 155 on ios, not the full game. Still (prob cause I don't have the full game) don't have enough resources to build guns. Why though, should you never build guns?
Because you can get guns easily from Bunker Alfa crates
Crafting guns is crazy expensive. It requires titanium, which is the rarest metal in the game. And you can't get titanium without unlocking the Dead Island via the Boat. So it's just doesn't make sense to waste your important resources to craft guns.
On the other hand you can get guns easily from elsewhere.
You can sometimes get guns from Airdrops (up to 70% durability). You can give Dealer Joe the items that he needs and get a weapon crate in return. Sometimes you could get a gun from it
Even if you just gather 20 green coupons in Bunker Alfa, you can exchange those for the green crate, which will give you a guaranteed gun.
And if you know wall trick and clear Bunker Alfa regularly after each reset, you can easily open all the three crates and get 14+ guns per week.
You can also get guns from Blackport PD and Farm location
If you learn wall trick you'll be able to gather guns quickly.

But I've played actively for the last 2-3 years
if i dont build walls then just leave chests in the open? what about raider :(
If you are level 150+ and want to raid then do the following
1) Craft a steel room (level 4 walls) to protect your chests
2) If you don't have resources to craft level 4 walls then build a honeycomb base with bait chests

Because when you reach that level and start raiding, the bases that you will raid are bots too.
And after you raid a base, there is a chance that your base might get raided by raiders too
So that's why it is important to safeguard your chests before raiding

You can use your Glocks and M16s to do PD waves
And if you want to unlock the ATV, you can use Ak47s in Bunker Bravo

why not craft weapons
Crafting cheap weapons like Cleaver and Crowbar is way more efficient than crafting weapons like Machete, Metal Pipe, Skull Crusher and Saw Blade Mace
And crafting guns is something that you should never do because the resources that are used for crafting guns can be used elsewhere which will help you progress in the game

There will probably never be a mobile survival game to top this. He'll this game is better then most Console/PC survival games.
The only 2 complaints i have about the game.
1. The Bunkers should be able to be done a normal way. Having to do a wall hack to beat certain Zombies is nonsense.
2. For the love of GOD. Why do we need to have so many damn chest!
- If we didn't have to have so many chest. We wouldn't have to have such large bases. What's wrong with wanting to have a small base?!
-Make each chest hold up to like 1000 items & we would only have to have a few chest in our base!
You either new to the game or never played a survival game
What is the engame of the game
Build an ATV (hardest vehicle to build).
Upgrade your base (walls) and storages to the max level (so you can store more items).
Raid other bases (AI bases) frequently.
Upgrading Settlement (This is no fun).
Wont i get raided easily if i dont have walls sorry i dont understand im beginner
Raiding starts when you reach level 150
And even after you reach level 150, your base won't be raided if you don't raid other bases
If you raid a base, there is a 24 hrs window where your base could get raided (this might happen, might not happen depending on the threat level)
So if you want to start raiding just build walls at that time to protect your loot

Bro I am level 73 how can I level up fast , very fast . Because j want rk reach lvl 150 so I can raid
Get exp buff from the healer (exp buff might not spawn everyday) and do bunker alfa or farm location
The buff lasts for 1 hr and it will increase your exp gain by 100%
The healer will spawn near the broken truck 15 mins after the daily horde attack
He will be available for 30 mins

If you play regularly for like 6-10 months then you can easily get a base like mine
New to this game and I always ran out of energy jeez any more tips aside from this 5?

Regarding the energy: Make sure to take breaks
For eg - If you are closing the game (taking a break), then make sure to run to the next location you want to go
You can enable the in-game notifications. So when you reach your destination, the game will notify you

When you buy something from the in-game store you will get some vip points and you will also be able to access the vip zone for 7 days

@@FashWuzHere There's a wheel of fortune from where you can get stuff and some tokens exclusive to the vip zone. You can spin this wheel once everyday
There is a black market where you can utilize those tokens to buy stuff
You can get a random buff everyday
You can get an unlimited supply of water
You can get some food items
And if you're level 5 vip level and higher you can repair your weapons
You can also get an outfit and chopper skin but for that you have to be at a higher vip level
I built a giant base using level 1 walls nooooooooooo
Don't worry it's just 1 wood per wall
Just don't upgrade them to level 2
Why never ever craft Guns?
Takes a lot of rare materials
Those materials can be used for other important stuff
Also finding guns is easy
Let's just say:
By the time you gather resources to craft 1 Glock you will find and use 100 guns
O fuk that is the first thing I did when starting out the game lol. Is ther anyway to remove building or Crates that have been build? I want to move them.
@@kagamehkps67 You can't move walls. But you can destroy them
Every other building like chests and workbench can be moved
Go to the build option below the minimap where you can access all the buildings. One option is for the walls and other is for workbench and furniture

@@kagamehkps67 Are you talking about the Screws that we need in the Settlement or Bolts?
You can find Screws in the basement at the Motel. It is located at the top left corner of the map
If you want Bolts then, they are easy to find. They basically spawn in every location
You said craft weapons like a machete but do you realize that its level 50+ , how is that beginner
The first two weapons I mentioned were Cleaver and Crowbar
I even mentioned "Once you have a lot of resources, then you can craft Machete and Metal pipe"
I don't think beginners are going to have a lot of resources

Reach level 18 quickly by using healer's buff and farming green zones like Pine Bushes and Limestone Ridge (Use Spear). Make sure to sneak attack each and every zombie or animal
If an AI survivor spawns then leave the location immediately. Run to base and then run back to the Pine bushes (pine bushes is an example). This will reset the pine bushes location
Then convert resources like logs to planks and iron ore to iron bars
If you want a decent weapon go to the Air drop event. But be careful. Avoid as many zombies as you can. And kill the toxic spitters first. Take a decent weapon with you if you have one. And some healing items. Don't take too long to loot the Airdrop event or an AI survivor may spawn. The Airdrop will have a 60-70% durability weapon

Because the resources that you need to craft guns can be used on other important things like upgrading walls, finalising mods for your weapons, etc
Guns are easy to get once you start clearing Bunker Alfa
