@@Clipmations Yep I got an rcp active snare. very durable. My only complaints are snare sound isn’t loud enough, a little soft, and the rim doesn’t sound great.
Any idea on when the Prologix site opens up again? I would love to give one of these pads as a gift to my drumline buddy. The new series of pads look great.
Our advice is to go with the 10. It's a nice size. It's big enough to not feel cramped or that you're playing target practice with it, but not so big that you can't throw it into your backpack if you're travelling with it.
I have seen so many videos on Prologix. I would love to get their products. But, none of their products are even made available in the first place. Even their website has been under construction for a long time. So is it ever going to be sold?
Tristan Teo Hello Tristan! Please email us directly at contact@prologixpercussion.com so we can best assist you with your interest in our products. Please note our web site is under construction due to our rebrand of our entire product line. We are working diligently to bring you the best in practice products and quality service experience which does takes time for our design team to build. We appreciate your patience in advance and we look forward to speaking with you via email. contact@prologixpercussion.com Cheers!
When will these products become available? I can’t seem to find the drum set or any of the other pads on the internet. When will prologix take my money? Lol
Prologix used all Pearl hardware for their NAMM display. We believe the stands you're talking about are Pearl 1030L Concert Snare stands. pearldrum.com/products/concert/concert-hardware/snare-stands/
Nope. The stand I'm asking about has 2 more holders for 2 pads. Total 3 pads on 1 stand. The part of the video where you showcase your product has multiple pad sets with 3 pads each. Looking at the video: 6m 24s
It's a combination of a few pieces. Look in the background at around 1:18, you can see that it's actually 2 stands because you can see 2 sets of tripod legs. The 12" pad has its own 1030L stand. The 10" is mounted on what appears to be a single-braced cymbal stand base (for extra height) and the snare basket from the 1030L. The 6" is mounted to a short boom arm, like a CH930S, and attached to the post of the snare basket with an AX-25L clamp.
NAMM usually has prototypes of brand new products that aren't necessarily available yet. Companies just showcase what's to be expected from them in the coming year. It isn't available yet, but keep checking with your local dealer for ETA updates.
I really liked these this year. I’d hoped they’d have done a “Sunday sales” like many vendors do, but they didn’t. Plus, they’re not really priced for the common man and that was a turn off. The different colors for different surfaces was a great idea. Maybe they’ll give us “little guys” a deal and I can get one.
Bob Borress Hello Bob, We are expecting to have our PractiKit pads and ThunderKick pads available to ship May 2018. Pricing will be announced March 2018. Thank you!
Jason Edwards thanks much! Really looking forward to the future release of these products! :-) I have 3 more questions: 1. Will the thunder kick be available separately? 2. Is the back surface of the ostinato pad the same as the black surface for the workout pads? 3. For the previous red/blue version of that ostinato pad, was it the same as the blue workout surface, the black one, or neither? Thanks much. Really looking forward to learning drum again starting with your practice pads!
That's the Prologix PractiKit with Zildjian Low Volume cymbals. The PractiKit has yet to be released, but Zildjian's Low Volume cymbals are available here: www.long-mcquade.com/?page=search&SearchTxt=zildjian%20low%20volume
And the funny thing is, we had a shotgun mic up close on the kit to try to get the sound of the pads, but the cymbals kept clipping the mic. The practikit (and most of Prologix's soft pads) are very quiet! Imagine how quiet this kit would be if you swapped out the Low Volume cymbals for more Prologix pads!
No, it is a closed trade show. Only manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, retailers, etc attend NAMM, as well as media personnel, endorsers and artists. If you know anyone who does attend, you can be an invited guest, but it's not like other conventions where anyone can purchase a ticket to attend.
The Practikit is currently priced at $335, well below the prices of our entry-level acoustic and electronic drum kits. Even adding the Zildjian Low Volume cymbals and hardware will bring the whole kit to less than $1000 - still lower than the retail prices of most actual drum sets.
The new logo looks so much better.
Really cool range of product, the color changes makes it much clearer indeed! Looking forward to getting my hands on these :D
Really cool
hey justin i agree
I was gunna comment the same
Nice stuff! The Russ Miller pad just might be the pad to have..
*RETURN OF THE GODLY CHOPS*
Can't wait until 2019
Same
Same
Great stuff to practice quiet at home!
Well I don't need xymox anymore
Yea basically rcp and prologix is the way to go

Sorry we don't know when Prologix will launch their new site.
What are the Pearl hardware items holding the Blackout pads etc.?
I want those practice drums
Me to
That blackout and lightning pad seem like a good purchase. 6 or 10 in though, can’t decide.

Are you in Canada, Tristan? We have stock of a lot of ProLogix's popular models and can special order anything from their catalogue of products.
Long & McQuade Musical Instruments Unfortunately not. That's why it's hard finding their products.
Just talked with the company... first shipment to american stores in 10 days

I like the first one best
Also a little wider pad for double bass
How about a marching/classic hybrid snare pad?
I loved your pad I can see it how I stay in China please answer Is there way that I can see it here in China
When will these products become available? I can’t seem to find the drum set or any of the other pads on the internet. When will prologix take my money? Lol
Logan G I know I’m kind of late, but a good portion of that drum convention is to show up and coming products.
The white/colorfun/green/pad sets are mounted in a very nice stands. What stands are those? I'd like to check them out.

Where can I buy the reverse beater? I didn't get one from the seller
That's the KDB-7. Available for order in-store or online here: www.long-mcquade.com/49562
Is the PractaKit available anywhere in UK? It seems a very illusive bit of kit and exists nowhere on the internet!

Any news on when the practice kit and thunder kick will be in stores?
also...when will the Prologix website be up and running?
No ETAs for the new products in our system yet.
The pad I am looking for is one that has a diameter about the size of a quarter. :) Oh ... I'll take one of those brush pads tho. :)
How much would that kit be price wise? Also where can I buy them? I live in a small house with thin walls but I need to practice drums
The PractiKit is $334.99CAD and you can order them at your local Long & McQuade store in Canada!
When will this be available? Price?

When will the tenor pad be available? And what is the price of it?
The tenor pads (Zonix5 and Zonix6) are available now. The Zonix5 is listed at $260CAD and the Zonix6 is listed at $284CAD.
Whats the name of the first drum with the symbols and how much does it cost

I actually might be buying one of the tenor pads soon.
Would they work with a normal snare stand?
Yes, there are snare basket receiver holes on the underside for mounting on a snare stand.
Long & McQuade Musical Instruments OK thanks, you responded fairly fast.
Do you guys sell a stand configuration to go with these pads, or do you buy extra hardware separately?
There's no specific hardware pack for these pads, it's up to the user to configure their own hardware solution as needed.
These seem like a good idea but only if there not overly expensive
I cant find the whole practakit on your site. Help please
It's not yet available. Prologix has been quiet ever since NAMM.
Long & McQuade Musical Instruments when will it be available?
Anyone know what kind of angled bass drum beater is being used?
That's the Roland KDB-7. www.long-mcquade.com/49562
How much is this kit?
If you're referring to the PractiKit at the beginning of the video, our current price is $334.99.
WOW is a good idea...
honestly, as weird of a complaint this is, the practikit seems too quiet in this video. the cymbals overpower it so much lol

I wish the marksman had a rim
that silent set is good, but i bet for the money you can buy an electric set which can also be silent
If the snare had a chic it would be great
Pinkies my dude xD 1:10
prologix i think you make sticks too
Nope. They do not.
Why
Really cool, I bet it costs more than 3x the price of a drumset
You'd lose that bet. ;)
Probably cost way more than actual drumset
The Practikit is currently priced at $335, well below the prices of our entry-level acoustic and electronic drum kits. Even adding the Zildjian Low Volume cymbals and hardware will bring the whole kit to less than $1000 - still lower than the retail prices of most actual drum sets.
There are too many options!
Not really a fan, they all look kinda cheap IMO
Waste of 10 minutes and 53 seconds. The marching line won't be able to compete with other pads at all.
He sounds like a broken man.
I highly doubt that. He’s at NAMM... probably exhausted from all the great times.
