I found the oppressor mark 2 to be a really annoying vehicle to fight and bringing it into gta online has really changed pvp. These are some strategies I use to fight back against constant oppressor mark 2 spam. Is there any other strategies you guys use?

What they're talking about is back in the days of the 2013-14 community the old generation, we used to have lobbies of gun fights and you had to physically chase someone down in a car with a car not a flying bike that can outrun anything you chuck at it? However, when you play in now in the new generation, it's "don't go on foot, either stay on the bike fly around and run away or hide all the way up in an avenger. The early communities were the type to show their skills on foot. There were lobbies were it was 10 people killing eachother at military bases because we're all fighting to steal a jet as that was the most deadliest. There's plenty of vids online today how many people are saying the game lost its soul it's just a griefers paradise now. Because back then fine there were different versions of griefers but they were manageable and people were more higher on ego back then so used to taunt and have 1 on 1 fights. Now it's just give me dad's credit card let me buy a mk 2 fly around and scream the lobbies "cry" that's why people are missing the old days. The days of "GTA" actually see driving around the map trying to shoot shoot or run away was possible. Now it's just let me hop into my truck that has AA missiles. One day, a stromberg attack me, so i tried to fight back with my Oppressor mk1 but he kill me. I tried again, killed again. the conclusion, I killed him once while he killed me 5 times . Very Powerfull

Then, its just a case of using super advantageous counters against them, if you beat them they'll get desperate/scared/mad, If they run they lose, if they send hate messages they're hurt, ect. Shame that bike is stupidly broken, I got destroyed by a broomstick bitch, repeatedly, with me getting just 5 kills or something, he was the equivalent of a modder flying around blowing everyone up, he even reported me and got me a 1 day communication ban, its fucking bullshit.
If you win, and they lose, it's totally worth it. Just don't say anything that gets you a communication ban, or anything like that. Be kind, and tell them to stop making everyone's life miserable. EDIT: (If they don't stop, ruin them with the ruiner and stomp them with the stromberg, as show in the video) If they insult you in a rude way, it will hurt them more in the long run than it hurts you.

When a opressor mk2 tries to kill me I get destroyed intentionally by him with a expensive car to make him pay the insurance eventually they stop to not pay more

When i was selling my vehicle warehouse, there is a griefer with an Oppressor Mk2, he destroyed my vehicle! I got so mad that I even spawned my own Oppressor Mk2 to kill him, i keep blowing him up until he went to passive mode then left the game I messaged to him "Too scared to fight? Stop griefing you griefer" Edit: Sorry if my comment is hard to read
I once get griefed by a mk2 when selling gun running stocks but he was so bad that he blew himself up with his own missiles. Afterwards I killed him 15 times on foot.

I once did the business battle on the ac-carrier: i got over there with my apc and a mark 2 noob tried to blow me up. He came very close to me and stopped: I got out the tank and just shot him with the atomizer, instead of killing him i got back in my apc and drove away: his mk 2 sunk in the pacific and he had to kill himself. One of the best moments ive ever had in GTA.
@@imrevig7261 nah the insurgent sucks when it comes to missile resistance, use the nightshark instead, also everything on the list actually works, i use the pyro all the time.
A Pyro couldn't do much against a MK2, a Lazer would be much more effective but if you're desperate just get a chaff MK2 because most filthy normies use flares.
Honestly I am a retiurning player, i hadn’t played GTA since 2016, so when this is in the air i was mortified to say the least, but honestly after grinding and getting into the game i found that the only way to not fear this mounstrocity is to own it, i don’t use for griefing but neither i want to get blown up
Rockstar should add ruiner-accurate homing missile laucher as a normal weapon with less damage. It won't destroy vechicles in 1 shot, but every oppressor driver will fall off. Maybe with long lock on for balance.
Or somenthing a little easier, upgrade the B-11 missiles to Ruiner class. It has 30 missiles after all. It would actually justify that stupid missile cap.
That is the issue with gta. Once we get a weapon to counter the oppressor mk2, people are gonna want a weapon to counter that weapon. This would cause a loop in overpowered vehicles/weapons constantly being released to counter the previous.
@@aeternus2036 that's why the counter would simply be on existing vehicles. There are a lot of vehicles that don't make sense as they are, a simple fix will do the trick. A simple counter would be to give the AA trailer and Chernobog better missiles, like the ones on the Ruiner, because this vehicles are underpowered and easy to counter. One can't move while firing and the other can't move or needs someone towing it. And they take just one explosion. The Nightshark or explosive sniper would counter it.

The deluxo should be on here. It is really under rated. When someone homes in on you the missile goes for the back of the Deluxo. So if you turn your head down and the back up the missile will go right under and miss you. It does require some practice but I reccomend it!
If you have the Heavy revolver use it and see how it works too. Its usually 1 shot kill. Possibly 2 but not if you have a stronger ammo type. You dont need it though

The oppressor mark 2 would be a very nice and helpful vehicle if you had no weapons at all will using it including the weapon wheel. It would be nice to get around. And there wouldn’t be try hards everywhere with it.

I have another method (could have been a special mention) which will not only confuse the depressor MK 2 spammers but also any griefers. METHOD: Use the Blimp while making sure the griefer does not see you when you are taking off for a long flight. Speaking of irony, I had them complaining about me hacking, glitching under the map or maybe I was 'invisible' but in reality, I am an innocent player minding my own business flying my Blimp way high up in the air by not physically harming anyone and simply, looking at the beautiful sunset.😏

When i get in a battle with tryhards, i pop on my thermal, and if they are sitting on a building far from me, the game doesn't render the buildings hitbox, so i can see the player with thermal and snipe them through the building... its so funny
Stromberg is good against weaker players, but one with chaff will give you no chance. In my experience the Lazer/Hydra are in the top 2. Fly in circles and you are invincible. Set your camera on your hood and fly vertically and its possible to lazerbeam them. If you can't then wait them to drain their rockets and ground annihilate them while respawning it.
Yup. People somehow get the idea that flares are the only countermeasure that exists. NEWSFLASH: A well-timed chaff stops *All* missiles for a long enough time for a mk2 to spam enough missiles to get a kill.
nope chaff takes eternity to cool off. by the time chaff is away 3 rockets have already lit your car on fire, you were flipped and will blow up in a second. stromberg has half the lock on range, its missile tracking is good, but not great-i've had a dude dodge 3 missiles in a row with no countermeasures. your only chance is as r.i.peperoni suggested-go underwater and only pop up close to, but not completely to the surface and sometimes it would allow you to lock on.

Since the Hangar glitch, %75 of players have MK2’s now. Pick-up insurgents can't do anything when fighting 2 mk2’s at once. The only way to do it is just to trade kills, or Mk2 vs Mk2 can cut it. And when shooting at Aircrafts, sure they can dodge it but the only way for them to kill a mk2 spammer is to Get them on the ground when they are Reloading on missiles.

@Dexus Ex I give you a quick heads up on that tactic. Yes, with that you can take a Savage out easily. I did that many times. But in all my Savage hunting sessions against MK2's... Only ONE person tried that, and failed Maybe 1 person in 200 or so has that idea but is probably too bad or stupid to execute it properly.. So the Savage? Great Counter against 99.9% of MK2's.
Whenever I first got gta I found someone’s oppressor mk2 and I flew around with it and wanted to buy it so I could go around the map really fast, I had no idea how annoying it was
@@slurdrip Nah, you don't need to have a GOD aim. What you need is a good driver to not mess with your aim. I mainly play fps games and can say that I have a decent aim. The problem is if the driver keeps crashing and tumbling, you'll not hit a shit.

actually stromberg is not that good in my opinion. they will just use chaff and blow you up another decent counter is moc cab ,they can shoot missiles at you all day but its not gonna blow up ( and while you are in that thing try to ap pistol them down) Lazer , insurgent with gunner , hunter with chaff and savage might work as well. But the best counter is another mk 2 with chaff :)
With moc cab and with your help of friends/crew, you can drain their money as well as giving him cone hat; after this is vote kick. With jet especially hydra and Lazer, you need to spiral up or down then spray death beam on them; if I've farming crates on hostile lobby on land I use moc truck but if the crates is on water I use hydra
I agree. Any greifers with a brain will just spam 10 rockets killing your stromburg. The stromburg has better armor than most vehicles, but when they have a flying bike with rapid fire missiles, 4-6 explosions goes quick. Or maybe I just suck. 😂
@@cmj115 all you need to do is find a tunnel and force them to come to you in that way you have the biggest advantage, if they aren't coming for you then find a huge straight road, then go at full speed once they fire there missiles you should have your lock on then there missiles should just miss your stromburg and you get the kill. These techniques usually work for me 80% of the time
I remember one time i was selling my cocaine business and a guy destroyed my product i was a little mad so i killed him 1 time he over reacted and called his 3 friends to help him kill me it was a 4v1 i called 2 of my friend because my other friends were offline and a random in the session saw what he did and orbital cannoned him they left after getting orbital cannoned
I rock the volatol, drives them batshit that they can't hit it. Single bomb when they are on the ground and they are pissed. Starling works wonders as well. I just wish I was better in the seabreeze. Half track with a buddy is super powerful against them, usually get the kill. I crush them in a lazer, but if you beat them in garbage it makes them angry.

The best way imo is the fully loaded ruiner. Me and my friends were having a war and the fully loaded ruiner was just not blowing up and had amazing missiles against the oppressor mk2
I disagree with the stromberg being that useful against mk2’s because if they make good use of the chaff countermeasures or theyre flying it upside down they will be able to kill the stromberg with ease as the stromberg has a minimap icon as well so they know whats coming after them
its frustrating in free aim with a controller i use a combat mg with bst it destroys them moc cab with ap pistol or heavy revolver pyro with chaff and circle them till they run out of rockets or a lazer do same as with pyro then death beam them
My new favourite way is get out of any vehicles start ceo, take bullshark testoterone take out my mg mk2 (biggest range) and just spray them down in 1 sec!! try it and u will be suprised how many you can down like that :)
With the pyro, use the bumpers too steer left and right quickly and the missiles will explode right behind you like with the thruster. This means you don't have to endlessly fly in a circle.. Hope I helped
I use starling with chaff and eradicate them easily XD, I play on PS4 btw. I also want to say that I totally disagree with the Ruiner 2000 and Stromberg. Any oppressor mk2 pilot who knows how to use chaff will counter these vehicles without any problem. So yeah it will work on noobs but not on smart oppr mk2 pilots, use night shark with sticky bombs, night shark can survive 26 homing rockets so they will have to call another oppr mk2 and will not work since the 5 min cool down. If you want to fight with planes then in my opinion if you want to play in a very defensive way then use the LF-22 Starling, the boost allows you to avoid rockets easily, I recommend using chaff but since you have the boost you won’t need it much. Now if you want to play in a very aggressive way then use Lazer or Hydra, both planes are very fast and agile, with Lazer everyone should know how to dodge missiles just go in circles, with Hydra the most important thing is to maintain a high top speed NO MATTER WHAT, never turn in tight circles with Hydra. You just need to stay away from slow planes like the B-11 if you use that you will have to attack from above or under with cannons. I own both lazer, Hydra and starling and I don’t regret buying any of them :).
One sneaky way to kill MK2s is to get in an Akula, go in stealth mode, and wait for the MK2 to either stand still or fly in a straight line, then you want to get VERY close behind the MK2 and pop out of stealth mode and fire a missile at it and they will have no time to react and dodge the missile.
This is my personal list 1. Use your own mk2 and use the RB strat (if you don’t know about it, watch ghillie’s video) 2. FL ruiner 3. Go to yacht, turn on defenses, and watch the destruction 4. Moc cab with sticky bombs 5. Chernobog bait (A lot of people would say stromberg, but it’s not very effective because of mk2 countermeasures. Also, you can use the scramjet if you’re really good with it. The pyro can dodge the missiles like it’s nothing, but it can’t take out mk2s)
i was in a 3 player lobby today, selling a rosevelt top end, and one of the guys started chasing me in a zentorno with stickys. i tried to get out and bomb him but he smashed my car into me then stole it and turned it in to the cops. after i messaged him to fight me when i can fight back he ran away. i hopped into my sasquatch and rushed over to a business battle that he was doing, blew up his car and waited. he ran out the back and i proceeded to impulse grenade him to death about 7 times. there was nothing the guy could do, he would spawn and i would shunt fly over to himm immediately. he ended up leaving, and i got my first win against a griefer :)

Mk2 griefers are like flies: they go after you when being productive, then when you start fighting back they will fly off in fear

He came very close to me and stopped: I got out the tank and just shot him with the atomizer, instead of killing him i got back in my apc and drove away: his mk 2 sunk in the pacific and he had to kill himself. Rockstar should add ruiner-accurate homing missile laucher as a normal weapon with less damage. It won't destroy vechicles in 1 shot, but every oppressor driver will fall off. Maybe with long lock on for balance.

There are a lot of vehicles that don't make sense as they are, a simple fix will do the trick.
A simple counter would be to give the AA trailer and Chernobog better missiles, like the ones on the Ruiner, because this vehicles are underpowered and easy to counter.
One can't move while firing and the other can't move or needs someone towing it.
And they take just one explosion.
The Nightshark or explosive sniper would counter it.

The deluxo should be on here. It is really under rated. When someone homes in on you the missile goes for the back of the Deluxo. So if you turn your head down and the back up the missile will go right under and miss you. It does require some practice but I reccomend it!

If you have the Heavy revolver use it and see how it works too. Its usually 1 shot kill. Possibly 2 but not if you have a stronger ammo type. You dont need it though

For me, the explosive rounds are the number 1 counter, but I feel kinda cheated when they get on a new OP II 3 seconds later and fly away (of course I'm on foot with the sniper).
I have another method (could have been a special mention) which will not only confuse the depressor MK 2 spammers but also any griefers.
METHOD: Use the Blimp while making sure the griefer does not see you when you are taking off for a long flight. Speaking of irony, I had them complaining about me hacking, glitching under the map or maybe I was 'invisible' but in reality, I am an innocent player minding my own business flying my Blimp way high up in the air by not physically harming anyone and simply, looking at the beautiful sunset.😏

Stromberg is good against weaker players, but one with chaff will give you no chance.
In my experience the Lazer/Hydra are in the top 2. Fly in circles and you are invincible. Set your camera on your hood and fly vertically and its possible to lazerbeam them. If you can't then wait them to drain their rockets and ground annihilate them while respawning it.

nope chaff takes eternity to cool off. by the time chaff is away 3 rockets have already lit your car on fire, you were flipped and will blow up in a second. stromberg has half the lock on range, its missile tracking is good, but not great-i've had a dude dodge 3 missiles in a row with no countermeasures. your only chance is as r.i.peperoni suggested-go underwater and only pop up close to, but not completely to the surface and sometimes it would allow you to lock on.

Since the Hangar glitch, %75 of players have MK2’s now. Pick-up insurgents can't do anything when fighting 2 mk2’s at once. The only way to do it is just to trade kills, or Mk2 vs Mk2 can cut it. And when shooting at Aircrafts, sure they can dodge it but the only way for them to kill a mk2 spammer is to Get them on the ground when they are Reloading on missiles.

another decent counter is moc cab ,they can shoot missiles at you all day but its not gonna blow up ( and while you are in that thing try to ap pistol them down)

But the best counter is another mk 2 with chaff :)
With moc cab and with your help of friends/crew, you can drain their money as well as giving him cone hat; after this is vote kick. With jet especially hydra and Lazer, you need to spiral up or down then spray death beam on them; if I've farming crates on hostile lobby on land I use moc truck but if the crates is on water I use hydra

@@cmj115 all you need to do is find a tunnel and force them to come to you in that way you have the biggest advantage, if they aren't coming for you then find a huge straight road, then go at full speed once they fire there missiles you should have your lock on then there missiles should just miss your stromburg and you get the kill. These techniques usually work for me 80% of the time
I remember one time i was selling my cocaine business and a guy destroyed my product i was a little mad so i killed him 1 time he over reacted and called his 3 friends to help him kill me it was a 4v1 i called 2 of my friend because my other friends were offline and a random in the session saw what he did and orbital cannoned him they left after getting orbital cannoned

I prefer using the Savage. I fly around and dodge all their missiles, then when they go down to get a new one, I shoot them
I rock the volatol, drives them batshit that they can't hit it. Single bomb when they are on the ground and they are pissed. Starling works wonders as well. I just wish I was better in the seabreeze. Half track with a buddy is super powerful against them, usually get the kill. I crush them in a lazer, but if you beat them in garbage it makes them angry.

With the pyro, use the bumpers too steer left and right quickly and the missiles will explode right behind you like with the thruster. This means you don't have to endlessly fly in a circle.. Hope I helped

I use starling with chaff and eradicate them easily XD, I play on PS4 btw. I also want to say that I totally disagree with the Ruiner 2000 and Stromberg. Any oppressor mk2 pilot who knows how to use chaff will counter these vehicles without any problem. So yeah it will work on noobs but not on smart oppr mk2 pilots, use night shark with sticky bombs, night shark can survive 26 homing rockets so they will have to call another oppr mk2 and will not work since the 5 min cool down. If you want to fight with planes then in my opinion if you want to play in a very defensive way then use the LF-22 Starling, the boost allows you to avoid rockets easily, I recommend using chaff but since you have the boost you won’t need it much. Now if you want to play in a very aggressive way then use Lazer or Hydra, both planes are very fast and agile, with Lazer everyone should know how to dodge missiles just go in circles, with Hydra the most important thing is to maintain a high top speed NO MATTER WHAT, never turn in tight circles with Hydra. You just need to stay away from slow planes like the B-11 if you use that you will have to attack from above or under with cannons. I own both lazer, Hydra and starling and I don’t regret buying any of them :).

One sneaky way to kill MK2s is to get in an Akula, go in stealth mode, and wait for the MK2 to either stand still or fly in a straight line, then you want to get VERY close behind the MK2 and pop out of stealth mode and fire a missile at it and they will have no time to react and dodge the missile.

3. Go to yacht, turn on defenses, and watch the destruction
4. Moc cab with sticky bombs
5. Chernobog bait
(A lot of people would say stromberg, but it’s not very effective because of mk2 countermeasures. Also, you can use the scramjet if you’re really good with it. The pyro can dodge the missiles like it’s nothing, but it can’t take out mk2s)

i was in a 3 player lobby today, selling a rosevelt top end, and one of the guys started chasing me in a zentorno with stickys. i tried to get out and bomb him but he smashed my car into me then stole it and turned it in to the cops. after i messaged him to fight me when i can fight back he ran away. i hopped into my sasquatch and rushed over to a business battle that he was doing, blew up his car and waited. he ran out the back and i proceeded to impulse grenade him to death about 7 times. there was nothing the guy could do, he would spawn and i would shunt fly over to himm immediately. he ended up leaving, and i got my first win against a griefer :)
