He was given the task by Muzan to kill a Hashira, and the boy with the Hanafuda-like earrings if given the chance. Murdering a bunch of people on the train was a trap to lure in a Hashira. He is a schemer, and his killing style is slow and dreamy. Akaza, on the other hand, just throws hands. ^ - ^
Re: Tanjiro staunching his bleeding. Total Concentration Breathing is all about hyper-oxygenating the blood and therefore increasing muscle strength and control. Part of Tanjiro's (and every TCBreathing Demon Slayer's) training is increasing that power and control. Basically, Rengoku is instructing him on refining Tanjiro's awareness of his breathing to isolate the ruptured blood vessel, then using fine muscle control to "pinch" it shut - kind of like an internal tourniquet. It's less "super healing" than "DIY super first aid." So it's definitely wild by real world standards, but I think the logic is internally consistent with what the show has taught the audience about that particular skillset.
"Isolate the ruptured blood vessel" - there are more blood vessels being ruptured here. That's why it's unrealistic. If he ruptured a blood vessel in his nose because he blew it too hard, that would somewhat be more believeable, but here we talk multiple blood vessel because he was stabbed.

Kat I totally get what you're saying about Akaza's fighting style! Up to this point, Demon Slayer is kind of rare in fights that are "blow-to-blow," where most fights have been centered around Tanjiro and company desperately trying to survive against either bestial fighting styles or more mystical superpowers. Akaza is skilled only in the Supreme Art of Throwing Hands - which makes him that much more terrifying, IMO.
5:48 When it comes to the concentration/breathing techniques, remember it's the basic technique that allowed Tanjiro to impossibly slice a huge, solid boulder clean through all the way back in episode 3. So, mastering total concentration constant - allowing him to consciously staunch internal bleeding is...“logically feasible” with the “magic” system they established in this fantasy world.
But it even has a bit of sense, if you enhance your oxygenation, it will be easier to heal. And Tanjiro's wound was rather small, Rengoku didn't survive a hole in the stomach...
DO NOT underestimate martial breath training. My uncle actively redirected blood flow from an aneurysm through his nose and mouth. Had minimal damage and was home in 2 days. #nocap #breathtraining #martiallife

For me it was very intense and stressfull too when an upper Moon showed up for the first time😢 and the fight did not made it better 😂 And yes, Akazas fight style was very similar to Neji from Naruto for me and how he uses the abilities too😅
I'm gonna say it, I hate with a passion these short episodes. It would drive me nuts watching this series for the first time like this. Great reactions and I can't wait for the next episode though.
There is a bunch of extra stuff in the episodes vs the movie. It's not that the extra is bad, but I think they are paced poorly compared to the movie. You get the same story and the episodes are still good. I just prefer the movie version.
The way you guys hate on zenitsu for wanting to protect girls is crazy he has never once said girls cant do anything that men can do he wants a girl so he can treat her like a queen rub her feet take care of every little need she has the he comes off like that bc he is kid that dosnet know how to express his feeling correctly zenitsu would die if it meant he could protect nezuko if that is love i dont know what is.

Another one at 8:19 akaza says "if you dont want to become a demon then I guess I just have to kill you ", they just ignored " if you don't want to become a demon then" I can't list all but on average I found 3,4 mistakes every minute easily. Understand business model, Netflix wants to have as much quantity in their library as possible and they are financially aadequate but compromise on post production like adding good subs and dubs , use dedicated anime platforms * applicable to all animes you watch
Because we were not *schedule wise* able to sit down and watch a full movie, as we have a very small child and other responsibilities such as jobs (Kat), appointments etc

Not really. He was close enough to hear Enmu's death wail and came to have a look, hoping for a good fight. Akaza was out looking for something else.
