GRAPPLING HOOK PARKOUR! Amazon vs Parkour POV

  • I ordered a grappling hook off amazon for my new series, amazon vs parkour! Basically real life batman for this video where I test if a grappling hook would be practical for parkour. Tried the grappling hook at an abandoned building and in a tree, watch and find out how it held up!
    Try it out for yourself! (only if you are a trained professional, as am I) - amzn.to/2VIxRCe
    I will be making a dedicated grappling hook video just to show off some action and POV stuff in real life type situations. Get on top of buildings / structures you couldn't normally couldn't.
    Let me know what you think of my new series and comment what would be a good product to try out!

    when climbing rope the trick is TO NOT USE YOUR HANDS, but actually your feet
    make a s or j hook with your feet, so you can push off it

    • @JTPOV
      @JTPOV  5 місяців тому

      Fair enough! I've just always struggled with that method
      we have a 30' or 40' rope hanging from the ceiling at the gym, and in my training, I've always been better+faster with just my hands
      but good advice to everyone else who finds my way difficult!

    I have this exact grappling_Hook and I found that tying the rope about Two feet apart helps with grip/climbing and it’s easier to throw it by spinning it like a lasso on your side, spin it like your throwing it underhanded.

    do you understand why they wrote not for climb? the rope is inadequate. there are less friction strings used by the military. a three strand rope will give you more grip and less friction on your hands. the thicker the better. if it doesn't fit in the ring, add a thinner cord like a paracord splice. greatings from italy
