I enjoyed this a lot. I also tend to wait on items and keep ideas in the back of my mind. I’m not a trendy shopper and don’t want what a hundred other people have. If I buy something, in my price range, I want it to be timeless so I feel like I get my money’s worth. Take care and God bless. ❤️

I love this conversation. I am still working on my home after 36 years. So much of what you discussed is how I decorate as well. I think you have to live in s space and let it speak to you. My style is English country/cottage style. I realize I love pretty and cosy but not cluttered. I have mostly found most of my stuff at yard sales, Kijiji and thrift stores. I have a love of lamps and did take a course in making lampshades which I liked, but they were made of paper (pierced paper) popular in the 80’s. I would love to learn how to make the silk or linen shades.

I loved listening to the two of you! Great ideas. I was born and raised in So Cal, lived here all my life but my mom is from Ohio and it seems like there truly are more antiques in the Midwest, especially at a better price. I always find the best pieces when we’re visiting

I hope this is helpful. Your guest always aim their camera directly looking into the camera. You place your camera low so you're looking down at us and we're looking up your chin, teeth, nose. If you raise the camera to eye level, it will feel like you're talking to us, not looking down to your viewer
