The quilted bed has a yellow and blue combination that I think would work. Also allot of the decorations have a light gray wood colour/texture which is a great coastal material since wood is bleached gray at the coast. To decorate above the sink, use pendant lights. The plain bulb wold look great here in a light steel colour if it's available.

Hi! I just started playing hhp today, and I’ve noticed that when you’re building vacation homes, there’s like the order list of furniture of stuff that’s recommended for your client, and then there’s like a handful of stuff in the other categories, which looks to me like it’s all stuff from previous jobs. So my question is, is that the only way you can get access to more items for decorating vacation homes?
The items available to you while playing the vacation homes will consist of items that you have touched (meaning they’ve been in your pockets at least once at some point) in the main game and items that have been unlocked to you through the dlc because they match the villagers aesthetic for their vacation homes. So the more items you’ve touched in the main game and the more different kinds of vacations homes you’ve decorated, the more items you’ll have available for the next home.
@@afroborilafemme huh, ive been decorating my island and ive picked up a bunch of different kinds of stuff on treasure islands so i thought the stuff in my nook shopping catalogue wasn’t being considered, but it’s possible i havent been able to access my own stuff because i havent decorated enough houses yet and that’s a mechanic i would get through story progression. I only just decorated my third house.
@@paranoidlizard6338 I believe it’s somewhere around 25 homes that need to be decorated and for DIYs you have to craft them at least once before you can use them.
I didn’t want to wait to use my own furniture so I just placed down the items the villagers wanted until I was able to unlock the furniture so now all I have to do is go back and decorate.
^ Just wanted to add that I did this because i’m impatient so just ignore if you’d rather decorate them fully.

Do you ever upload an unfinished island to a dream address? I'm debating on uploading mine because it's almost finished except for a few areas. One of my friends who has Animal Crossing wants to see what I did to my Island but it's not finished yet.
Some people do!!! I’ve seen some really cute islands that weren’t complete. You can always update it again later when you’ve done more decorating!

How did you duplicate the window like that?!
I think you press the ZR button while the item you want to duplicate is selected? You can do it in hhp, when decorating villager homes, and in the room sketch app. Idk if it works when decorating your house though
