Uniques are important but so are your character upgrades. You cannot do both efficiently. Hampering your current upgrades for something in the future that will still take you a long time to get doesn't seem to make sense to me.

It will get you there faster but it will also drain your resources quicker as well.
legendary I am thinking of taking xmen, rogue jubilee and pheonix and not taking extream at all in global, i am not sure tho
