Again, apologies if I butcher pronunciations. Seydlitz, in particular, is one that I really have seen go both ways, so I tend towards defaulting to the one I know the best.
Also, I know this got a bit...rambly. It's a topic I'm fond of and when that happens I tend to ramble. Tried to work that out a bit with the editing, but after multiple takes, I'm calling this good.

But the only correct pronunciation is not that difficult. Once again: Zide-lits. Just listen to a German! :)

If you want a help with german pronounciation, i would be more than happy to help. I like your channel and the work, you are doing. If you want help, just text me and I will do my utmost to help you in pronouncing the german names. PS, great video, but you really butchered the Hochseeflotte in the opening. :-)

Do you have a link to the 3rd German Battlecruiser video?

I enjoyed learning about the later German battlecruisers, especially how they were designed with their British counterparts in mind. I look forward to your future discussion of the paper GK designs.

I wonder what Scheer really said when he discovered that the 1st scouting group had led him to the whole Grand Fleet.

What is the German phrase for 'Whoops - now there's something you don't see every day..'

I don’t know what he said, but being German my answer would include the word „Scheisse“💩

8 Months later and you're already at 7k subscribers. It's like Drachinifel without the word "whilst" thrown in excessively

There are quite some more issues than only the word "whilst".

At dogger bank the royal navy concentrated on blucher when they should have steamed past the doomed ship and continued to hit the other German ships

Concentrating on Blücher was a result of bad signalling.

I love the videos but in every single one you mention how you wont talk about X in this video because you need to go in much more detail or you cant give X justice in X amount of times..
It seems like a staple in every video, its a little annoying , but apart from that I love the videos.

I would seriously argue that the German fleet was absolutely irrelevant during ww1. I mean the one time they actually came out in full force, they were repulsed and sent home trashed. All the while, literally the day after Jutland, the royal navy could field a more powerful force than they had at jutland lol.

Surface fleet perhaps, but the german u-boat campaign brought UK just a few months away from starving into submisson at 1917. Situation did ease somewhat by countermeasures that were made possible by US joining the war and freeing RN personnel from pre- dr`s to new ships against U-boats.

@Ah01 agreed. I was referring to their surface fleet. I should have been more clear, thats my bad lol. You are 100% correct 👍
