You did well to conquer your fears and get back in the saddle mate and and full respect for talking about it,you never know it might save somebodies life some day

Hi guys, I just wanted to give you a little advice concerning the foreshore, the videos you’ve done on the boulders which is a good mark in itself but you should try over the other side park on Lamby way the mark is called birds it’s very underestimated & I think you lads would like it over there 11 plus meter tide nice & comfortable staying on top, give it a go. Also you’ll soon need to upgrade those rods conti style aren’t the greatest for Bristol Channel fishing that’s the reason you keep getting slack the rods are too soft, I’d recommend something along the lines of afaw 6 & bait. Keep the videos coming I enjoy watching beginners progress & will always give a helping hand or advice if needed. Tight lines
Thankyou mate Ino roughly where you mean on the bird. You park in the lay by down from the gypise site don't you if it's the same mark. I'm trying to understand the continental situation I haven't had too many slack lines mainly when iv caught my blonde rays. I use to have centurys and 6nbait but they seemed to stiff for a good overhead cast I seem to cast further with my continental rods do you think the conti could be too soft that's pulling the lead out mate??
Better to be safe than sorry, well done steve for getting back out again, true story, if anyone remembers tony who use to have rumney tackle shop on rumney hill, newport road, he went on a nights fishing on sully island with his daughter and some friends, anyway when they reach the spot ( the monkey pole ) some guy was already fishing, while tackling up tonys daughter said wheres the man gone, only his rod and box could be seen, they stopped and went to look for him thinking he may had fallen into the blow hole, he was spotted hanging onto the side of the rocks, they pulled him out, gave him something warm to drink, he left telling them they could keep all his fishing gear, he was told his gear would be safe for him to collect in the flat above the shop but never turned up for it, moral of this true story is never never fish alone in dangerous places, been there twice with Tony but after hearing the story would never go again to sully island.
