Can someone explain to me the way Prius's battery works? How long does a prius battery (original; built in from Japan) work? Like how many years after, one has to replace it with another? And how much does another one cost?

my honda vezel gives 15km/l in city, but on highway even for only 50km the average dramtically changes to 21 - 23km/l

Shahzad it’s very informative review, I really appreciate your work, I am confused in between Civic 2014/15 and Prius 2014, I like Prius exterior but I like so much Civic interior, what you suggest plz regardless fuel consumption.Secondly on partially bad roads is Prius behaves more bad as compared to Civic.? I am hopeful for your detailed reply.br
Muhammad Irfan regardless of fuel and comfort civic 13 14 wins the race and the comfort element only matters if you use Japanese vehicle otherwise civic is a win win
I have watched his reviews all three of them, Because I do own a honda civic 17 and had a prius 2012, I can hands down say whatever he pointed out with both the cars pros/cons, they are exactly like he said that civic is sluggish merely because of body to power ratio and S doesn't do anything more than just raising the rpms, where as prius its a great car, but there are issues with it too,
like the back seat isn't comfortable
You hear buzzing sounds in the trunk mostly on uneven roads
Initial torque is great because of hybrid motor which every battery power car has great launch at zero rpm
but it gets sluggish as the speed increases
dash quality is poor attracts dust easily
the car corners around nicely and i can say this corner it wont lose its ground
civic 14 is no match for this car mainly because of poor road grip apply the breaks on higher speeds and the rear end skids very easily

Which of the three would win a drag race, Prius 1.8, Civic 1.8 Oriel or Grande facelift 1.8?
Another question is that how fast the Civic turbo is as compared to these three cars, much faster or slightly faster?
Talha Bashir among these 3 prius swipes the floor and among these 3 and 1.5 turbo civic the turbo civic is the fastest among all them
shahbaz abid malik According to pakwheels the facelift Grande averages 8-10 km/l in city and the civic 1.8 oriel (which in my opinion is a much better car specially if you live in Islamabad like you do) averages 10-12 km/l in city and that's my own personal experince with the car and i live in Islamabad as well. But my question is that in your Grande review you said that it averages 13-14 km/l in city whereas my friend is getting around 9.5 or 10km/l which is less than my Civic, so how come are you getting 13-14 on Grande?
Talha Bashir sir civic gives u a max average of 9.5 to 10 incity and corolla has an incity average of 12 to 13 depends on the foot i have been using it since January
shahbaz abid malik Well my Civic is definetly better than that, i am always averaging above 10 and mostly around 11 and my Prius averages around 20 in city and about the same on the highway, i have managed to get 28 on my Prius with eco mode on and driving really slowly and if you want the proof then i can present it to you, well i am shocked that your Grande is averaging 12-13, my friend drives in a normal way but he never goes above 11 with his Grande
shahbaz abid malik But i am really impressed by your reviews. 99% of the things you have talked about are right, i do disagree a bit with you but that's because the way i use my cars is different to how you use them, about the weakness of the Prius you talked about, well maybe get a suspension check, we had the same probelm before but after getting the suspension fixed our Prius 2014 behaved a lot better of bumpy roads and never felt weak

Please write me about the batteries of prius. I am in confusion a lot, I searched a lot 2015 model Prius in these days, 99.9% dealers have fake auction sheets, 100,000 km reverse meters. So what is your opinion, For 2015 Prius, I will have to pay almost 2.5m for a car that already has 100,000 km on meter, Is it wise decision ? Please reply in detail.
Try to find a 100% genuine body wise car either it could be 14 model but the thing is in japan car get hit many times and then sent to pakistan so if ur car is not accidental then it must be driven less as well regardless of the odometer plus if you thing a car driven 100k in japan will give you a hard time for your next 2 years then u are wrong as they highly maintain the cars there and with original parts plus the roads are great
You will not have to worry about the batteries of a pruis till 300k

No bro hybrid system does not work like you explain the eco mood btw hybrid runs on totally battery till a limited speed (until there is battery ) in newer models
Not exactly on eco mode it does fhat on ev mode but thats like 30km/h
