Any number of reasons, she admitted to having not spoken to him for a good four years in an interview once, that could be of significance. Maybe they were once lovers? Just because you're long-time friends, that doesn't mean that certain memories or instances can't make you feel uncomfortable. All speculation though. I can't believe it's been five years since i watched this video though!
@Thunderhour PJ is much much more versatile a musician than Morrison. There is just no comparison...she is truly gifted in so many ways Morrison was not.
Yeah, as far as getting to where Morrison was trying to go, PJ does a better job--and stays there longer. Of course the Doors had a classic sound and style, but it was VERY short lived as far as actually DOING it--not just imitating themselves (drunk, useless Jim, etc., )
I'll definitely remember.
This is the best live song.
The drummer's totally cool with it, he's been with her for a long time. She's better than Jim Morrison in this one. Absolutely amazing.
The video of the full concert is on YT as well!
Yes it's an awesome show!
PJ Harvey BBC 4 St Lukes, magnificent from beginning to end.
lol...gotta love Ellis' expression...these 2 are constantly messing with each other onstage...

eastwood something or other at a guess
la beauté sauvage...
he's her longtime collabrator and friend why would he?
is it just me or does the drummer look kinda uncomfortable when shes standing near him?
i think he's just concentrated trying not to get discrated... that drum line seems kinda tricky
Better than Jim morrison? what are you on??
