Thanks ladies for hosting this. I'm new to the process, I've had my press for 6mos, and not comfortable with it yet
I love them both. Great job ladies ❤️
So pretty!! We have those blanks too! Love your works!🥰
Hi Alex and Ashley,
I haven’t tried the glass cans yet, but I do plan to do some. Hopefully soon’
Hi from Windsor Canada
Live you work what were the measurements you both use
Hi ladies ! Setting up my craft room finally. Where did you find the cricut stand of drawers behind you? All the ones I find are so much smaller
These are the Alex drawers in 24” wide from IKEA!
When you printed your design, did you powder and cure? What paper is used for this cup?
No, this is sublimation. So you need sublimation ink and sublimation paper. You might be thinking of DTF.
Hi Alex, I did a test on a cup for the same temp and time which came out great. So I went ahead and did the actual design I want to sublimate and I keep getting white all around my cup. Could it be my sublimation paper?
It sounds like your paper is probably the issue! You can also try washing your cup after it’s cooled down and that may get rid of the white residue.
I have a heat press that says it can accommodate tumblers and glass, however I have about an inch left open when I "press down", can I still sublimate with the one I have? The presses are quite expensive to replace just to accommodate bigger one. Can I still use the press I have? it is not a mini press
The press should be closing completely around flat items, but it’s normal to have a gap for tumblers and round objects when using a tumbler press.
my glass can did not take any of the color at all I have used htv ront sublimation paper ans a sub sublimation paper cosmo ink sublimation i'm using the new go 2 craft mug press that's all automatic it does all the work for you the prints of the desigh looks fabulous when they are printed out but when i press no color transfers to the glass is there something i'm missing please help
It sounds like your auto mug press isn’t using settings that are allowing an ink transfer, or you’re not using a sublimation glass can blank. I would start with troubleshooting both of those!
You didn't wait for the temp to come back to 356 after initially. putting tumbler in and then starting timer. Do you not have to do that?
I normally don’t wait for it, I just go by time. But that is something to think about!
Im getting like sticky dust lucking like all over the tumbler. Design comes out great, but im getting this dust looking like all over the pub like of the paper was dirty with dust and it printed in the mug. But it wasn't because i clean my mug before putting the paper and paper was not definitely dusty l. Why is this?
Usually that's residue from the paper itself sticking to the cup. Have you tried washing it with soap and water once the cup cools down?
hi
like ur content but u do talk too much, sorry but....
I agree but when she stayed on topic she gave good info. I followed the lady on the first side she’s really knowledgeable in the science behind these tumblers.
It’s a live. She is meant to talk and interact with those in the live chat.
