Jen, I have Cluck Cluck Sew's Diagonal Seam Tape but I never used it. Seeing precisely how to use it was very helpful. Now, I will try to use it also. Thank you!
I tackled my first HST's using the paper hst's on a roll. I wasn't really happy with that when it came to tearing the paper off. So I saw this tape demonstrated and tried it - boy what a difference! This will be my go-to now.
I've been using this for a while, and it's one of the greatest inventions EVER!!!! It's especially helpful for applications like joining binding strips, snowballing corners, etc.
I still struggle with this too. Even after 16 years of quilting. I thought it was my not so fancy machine. But you got a top of the line machine and you struggle too. My blocks always come out a little short/small. I have the seam tape and it helps a lot, but I struggle getting it straight because I have no guide lines on my machine. So I use Deb Tucker's advise and cut a little bigger and trim down. But if I use pre-cuts, that doesn't work. So the struggle goes one. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for this demonstration! I have the tape but my seams were still not correct. I am trying to teach myself and see these on Amazon and bought them. I definitely was not using the tape correctly.
🌺🌸 Hi and thanks a lot, this is very helpful. I was wondering about that tape and didn’t know how it cas called and where to buy it. You have introduced many items that were new to me and a great help in my sewing room so please, keep on doing this. Have a great day!
Hi Jen, I'm not a quilter but I still peek in on your videos to learn things I could use in garment sewing. The tape is a great suggestion. But I always struggle with 5/8" and 3/8" seam allowances. Do you know if this tape comes in a variety of options?
We're glad you've found this tutorial useful. Unfortunately, we're unaware of where to find printed tape with those markings. Thank you for watching. 💖 -Michelle
Could you mark lines on wide painters tape with the measurements you need? Mark a needle line in a different color. My machine doesn’t have the lines for lining up the tape so I use a small ruler to align it.

Thanks for this. You would think a 1/4 inch presser foot would do it, but I have problems, too. Think I'll need to get this tape.
